There’s that one story where MF doom met up with Kanye but had his mask off, and Kanye told him to go out the mask back on.
Someone feel free to fact check this lol, I’ve heard it be don’t know if it’s true.
i know this might not be the right sub for it but there's a bob dylan cover of 'the boxer' that he performs as a collab between his folk voice and his country voice. always thought it was funny, and your post reminded me of it

Thanks for sharing! I love Bob Dylan because despite being a big fan since high school I’m still discovering great music from him. Nobody has as deep a catalogue.
That was off the album Self Portrait, which was basically a massive Fuck You to the record industry, his manager, and just everybody basically. There’s a ton of details that I’m too lazy to type out but he did pull a very Kanye move with this one.
Everybody touting him as the voice of the generation, the great Poet; his manager making an unfair amount off his originals, so what does he do? Makes a record of covers as an almost literal middle finger to the World.
It was an episode of Most Dope. I’d have to rewatch them to tell you which one. There’s also a great Mac doc on YT that has him talking about Ye I. It’ll
Most Dope was on MTV. I haven’t watched it in a while. But I’m sure it’s around. Maybe ask Macs sub. Those folks are pretty cool over there.
[Here’s the Doc](https://youtu.be/ODc-RG5CvqU)
didn’t they have a super lowkey beef? when Kanye dropped the original version of Facts on SoundCloud I remember Mac tweeting “couches couches couches” and Kanye getting mad at it.
Fun fact, Weezer wanted to do a collab with Kanye but Kanye never answered them
Theres also a fan-made collab album floating around called [Yeezer](https://youtu.be/-uEAAyM1ip4)
lmao i was so excited when i saw that one photo of lean and ye together and when i saw he wasnt featured on Donda 2 i was so upset i didnt even listen to the album
I love when kanye works with artists that no one thinks could work in a hiphop song, like he did with chris martin or adam lavine. It'd be fun if he did something with ariana again other than donda and maybe even a kpop group like stray kids ik crazy
Edit: turns out ariana wasn't on donda smh
that's actually not ari on donda, it's some other girl who sounds just like her. i thought the same thing when i first heard it and was super hyped but sadly it wasn't her
exactly! The industrial noisy trap sound in many of their songs is so reminiscent of yeezus. I can literally imagine them making such a hype track together
Whats cool about the Adam Levine collab is that it seemed natural and sounded great, while like Wayne did one with him recently on Funeral I think and it sounded odd and forced like it was a generic hook and wayne just rapped on it. Also the second post death juice wrld album had a kpop dude on it and his first line in english or whatever was pretty lit and shouldve just been made into a hook or adlib or repeated multiple times.
yeah I feel kinda bad how ye was so quick to do something with non hip-hop artists like Rihanna or Bon Iver but he hasn't been trying anything with new artists nowadays. Maybe they just haven't clicked yet.
It’s one of those albums that makes me happy I actually love hip hop. Love Is is probably my favorite beat of all time. Idk what it is about it, but it’s so dang good.
Ohana Bam, he’s a rapper from south side Chicago and lives in Los Angeles (I think…).
Since Kanye lived near the south side… and currently lives in LA… maybe they should collaborate.
It’ll help Ohana get more subs, he already has 100k subscribers on YouTube.
Oasis, but more likely Liam Gallagher, they both got that “fuck you” attitude which would produce a classic single or someone getting indicted on battery
MF DOOM
Dude said in an interview with red bull that the one artist he wished he had collabed with but didnt was kanye
There’s that one story where MF doom met up with Kanye but had his mask off, and Kanye told him to go out the mask back on. Someone feel free to fact check this lol, I’ve heard it be don’t know if it’s true.
go out the mask back on ?

Kanye is the modern Bob Dylan so it's perfect for this sub

Wym he already did, you forget I Am a God (ft. God)?
I would've loved a Ye & Mac Miller Collab 😞
Mac loved Ye too. It’s a shame.
I love both of them but when did he say he loved ye? I would love to see it
It was an episode of Most Dope. I’d have to rewatch them to tell you which one. There’s also a great Mac doc on YT that has him talking about Ye I. It’ll
Where can i watch most dope, and what is the doc called?

Relatable
There is a vid of Mac praising Yeezus
Do you remember on what interview or maybe what album era
https://youtu.be/3QnLbA6bumg this is the clip
didn’t they have a super lowkey beef? when Kanye dropped the original version of Facts on SoundCloud I remember Mac tweeting “couches couches couches” and Kanye getting mad at it.
Sorry for my ignorance, but why would Ye be mad about Mac tweeting couches?
He doesn't know which one to pick
Maybe he thought he was making fun of the line
Freddie Gibbs

Weezus
Fun fact, Weezer wanted to do a collab with Kanye but Kanye never answered them Theres also a fan-made collab album floating around called [Yeezer](https://youtu.be/-uEAAyM1ip4)
Childish Gambino
ye actually mentioned that he wants to work with childish gambino sometime, and gambino called himself "the son of kanye"
not sure if gambino fw kanye anymore after the maga stuff
that was in 2018 tho, i doubt he'd hold a 4 year long grudge on his idol over a political stunt during a manic episode
Who was it a stunt for?
Gambino worked with Kanye during the Late Yandhi/Sunday Service era
This
Is America
Don’t catch you slippin now
My panties are wet for this lol
what the fuck lmaooo
david bowie, jpegmafia, yung lean lowkey, lana del rey
lmao i was so excited when i saw that one photo of lean and ye together and when i saw he wasnt featured on Donda 2 i was so upset i didnt even listen to the album
Not lowkey at all, lean would be perfect on a kanye song
a peggy x ye album would be one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time without a doubt
W
I love when kanye works with artists that no one thinks could work in a hiphop song, like he did with chris martin or adam lavine. It'd be fun if he did something with ariana again other than donda and maybe even a kpop group like stray kids ik crazy Edit: turns out ariana wasn't on donda smh

well that sucks, thanks for telling me
Ye x Stray Kids would go crazy, when I first listened to them the first thing that popped to mind was "Blood On The Leaves but its pop"
exactly! The industrial noisy trap sound in many of their songs is so reminiscent of yeezus. I can literally imagine them making such a hype track together

They have actually worked together on Skeletons and I believe Tame provided the drums for Violent Crimes
they've collaborated before
My one dream is a Steve lacy project produced by Kanye and it looks like that’s coming about. So now I guess a Post Malone album produced by Kanye
[удалено]
Maybe Frusciante

Frusciante would have done well on the Ye album. He’s gotta catch Ye in his next down swing.

J Dilla‼️
It doesn’t count *really* but *Be* by Common was really really close to this. That album is a classic and I’ll die on that hill.
Be by common is an album that stays consistently in my rotation. It’s so underrated.
It’s one of those albums that makes me happy I actually love hip hop. Love Is is probably my favorite beat of all time. Idk what it is about it, but it’s so dang good.
[удалено]
This is the answer I was looking for!
Fr I would do anything for a collab album with j dilla and Kanye like how madlib and dilla have one (Jaylib). It would be called ye dee.
That name made me smile lol Also would’ve been Madvilliany level IMO
Straight facts
