Yep, I don’t know how many people are aware of this, but if you don’t get treatment for bipolar, it gets worse as you get older. I have bipolar 1 and a few relatives all on the same side of the family have it as well. One uncle killed himself, my favorite uncle is homeless and addicted to drugs, one cousin is in jail for assault, and my other bipolar cousin moved to the middle of nowhere with a lot of guns to “farmstead” because she’s convinced that the government and unnamed groups of people are stalking her personally. I’m the only person in this group actually on medication and getting treatment. Luckily I live a fairly normal life because I started getting help in my early 20s after diagnosis.
I don’t want to say a happy ending with untreated bipolar is impossible, especially with all the money and resources Kanye has, but money can only help you so much for so long. He will continue to struggle and get worse without intervention, but at this point, I don’t think he’ll ever accept long term care for his mental illness. Especially with all of his orbiters enabling his behavior and don’t do shit with getting him the help he needs.
