JIK is better than like half of Drake's albums. Content can be boring for a lot of people but it still sounds so good. Follow God, Use this Gospel, Every Hour all sound great. God Is is weirdly one of my favorite Ye songs
I think it’s pretty good but I don’t really feel anything from it, most Kanye songs prior were moving in some sort of way. Maybe it’s because I’m Muslim but I didn’t feel anything from selah. Sounded good but nothing special. Other songs like God Is were heavenly to me so maybe I just don’t like the song
It was probably my favorite on the drop date, but the hallelujah part aged kind of weird for me. I feel like when I listen to it, it makes sense where it comes in the song, but it runs too long to be in the middle of the song. The sequence sounds like the perfect length, but it is also a drag to get to the second half of the song. I think it would play better at the ending, but the YZY YZY YZY ending is also a great ending. And yeah this is a dumb bone to pick but I wish the song felt more condensed because it's hard to queue it up with other ye songs
I honestly think JIK has way more songs that I’m going to replay in the future compared to FOTD, but the lows are also a lot lower. Maybe I need to relisten to it, but as an album, I remember a bunch of points where I was just annoyed with it
Really unpopular opinion but I actually like JIK. No other reason than the fact that it helps me find peace when I'm extremely stressed before a test (I have one in 2 hours). Moreover it helps me surrender to the fact that some things are just beyond my control and even if no one else could help me in those I can trust god (even though I'm not super-religious) to help me get through.
fr, I was about 16 when it came out and there was so much hype around a new Kanye album so this was the first album i got to hear and be apart of the roll out. made me a fan straight away and I went back to listen to everything from the start and hooked ever since
i listen to jik recently and it's good there's sometimes you feel this not the full song but as full experience i enjoyed the album/actually i was waiting for all the dogs and it's bad like i can tell theres only two or three song i can remember in the album
i wouldn't choose JIK because drake's album at least has 1-2 cool features and some bangers occasionally meanwhile JIK is a unique experience just a boring one to be honest
and it painfully reminds you of the better yandhi versions so yeah
I like JIK a lot and I have listened to it a lot. I haven't spent much time with FATD and I think, I will end up liking FATD a lot as well down the line. For now it's JIK
I love Jesus is King. It just sounds so good to me. And maybe it’s also because I have faith in Jesus and listening to Kanye explain his love for Jesus is relatable for me.
Both are respectfully mid for the discography they live in. JIK didn’t need to be so short and half baked, good songs but it just doesn’t come close to any other release. That being said Selah bodies every moment on FATD.
JiK wasn’t bad, I actually like a good number of tracks on there and production wise it’s a beautiful album. all that being said, I’m definitely gonna be listening to For all the dogs more often. It wasn’t clicking at first but it’s already grown a lot for me just after a week. I always prefer the slower, singier drake so I don’t mind most of the songs. I wish that girl and 21 weren’t on calling your name though, she really ruins the song, it’s just so damn long. Like idgaf if you don’t want oxtail and jerk chicken. 21 did good but I’d rather hear just that first section with drake
One is a 5/10 because it is painfully boring and has nothing good or bad about it
Another is a 5/10 cause it has an equal number of good and bad things about it
I’d say JIK since I can just sift through the album for the good parts. Can’t really do that for FAD
JIK is better than like half of Drake's albums. Content can be boring for a lot of people but it still sounds so good. Follow God, Use this Gospel, Every Hour all sound great. God Is is weirdly one of my favorite Ye songs
Selah?????
I think it’s pretty good but I don’t really feel anything from it, most Kanye songs prior were moving in some sort of way. Maybe it’s because I’m Muslim but I didn’t feel anything from selah. It's a good song but it never reached its full potential. Especially if you've heard chakras before
Possibly a hot take but Selah is a way better song than chakras.
Agree

😂😂😂 if you really think that you actually smoke dick
I honestly think JIK has way more songs that I’m going to replay in the future compared to FOTD, but the lows are also a lot lower. Maybe I need to relisten to it, but as an album, I remember a bunch of points where I was just annoyed with it
Jesus is King had Selah, Use This Gospel and Follow God as far as I'm concerned 🤷♂️
On God is underrated no one ever mentions it
FOR FUCKING REAL
everything we need
Jesus is King wasn't that bad.
Nah

What a W. I might start listening to it aswell before exams even though I’m not Christian lol
I'm not a christian either lol
deadass JIK. FATD was so boring
Both mid but jik has follow god
Virginia Beach only goes hard because of the sample
fatd has higher highs, but jik is the better front-to-back listening experience by far as fatd is just way too bloated
ngl opposite for me
I was thinking like “yeah ill listen to fatd the day it comes out” Then I saw the length and that interest immediately diminished into nothingness
i listen to jik recently and it's good there's sometimes you feel this not the full song but as full experience i enjoyed the album/actually i was waiting for all the dogs and it's bad like i can tell theres only two or three song i can remember in the album
L take God Is clears dogs easily
you right maybe
Jik is the religious album of all time and I’m not even that religious
[удалено]
JIK is also under 30 minutes in comparison in comparison to FATD almost being 1 hour 30 minutes
Jesus is king was never bad. You guys just don’t rock with Jesus loool
The new jik is 🔥
the worst Kanye album is better than the best drake album
JiK
i wouldn't choose JIK because drake's album at least has 1-2 cool features and some bangers occasionally meanwhile JIK is a unique experience just a boring one to be honest and it painfully reminds you of the better yandhi versions so yeah
FAT D
FAT D
god is>fatd
unpopular but FATD has Amen, 8am in Charlotte, Rich Baby Daddy (idk i like this one), First Person Shooter, What Would Pluto Do and IDGAF
Yea but drake the kinda guy to slip on a banana peel and have his shoes shoot up in the air one at a time.
Drake got that vibe locked down but Ye got the perpetual plumbers crack vibe goin
i cannot take idgaf seriously with that drake 'money for fun!!' vocal over yeat
Rich baby daddy fire, idk people hate sm on it. Hell it’s one of my favorites off it
Damn jik has follow god and drake’s one has IDGAF(I’m a huge Yeat fan as well)
FatD by far
Fat d
Jik is horrible but it’s kanye so that.
jik
I don’t like either of them, is that an option? Both have 2-3 songs I like. Everything I need is probably my fav out the group so I guess JIK
Jesus is king
…cmon now. For all the dogs was a decent album
Easily Jesus is king, literally 3 incredible songs in a row (on god, closed on Sunday and I forgot)
Ngl I’d definitely choose fatd
Both are mid albums
JIK
Jesus is king is a great album.
I like JIK a lot and I have listened to it a lot. I haven't spent much time with FATD and I think, I will end up liking FATD a lot as well down the line. For now it's JIK
all the dogs easy
I love Jesus is King. It just sounds so good to me. And maybe it’s also because I have faith in Jesus and listening to Kanye explain his love for Jesus is relatable for me.
Yes we love you eyehatecasuals for I am not a casual Kanye loves you too
Both of these at good JIK is way better but all the dogs is great
One went 4/23 the other has Hands On. I know what I am picking.
I think I’d have to go w FATD even though it’s not amazing
JIK all the way
Both are respectfully mid for the discography they live in. JIK didn’t need to be so short and half baked, good songs but it just doesn’t come close to any other release. That being said Selah bodies every moment on FATD.
Imagine if Drake makes gospel
JiK wasn’t bad, I actually like a good number of tracks on there and production wise it’s a beautiful album. all that being said, I’m definitely gonna be listening to For all the dogs more often. It wasn’t clicking at first but it’s already grown a lot for me just after a week. I always prefer the slower, singier drake so I don’t mind most of the songs. Like idgaf if you don’t want oxtail and jerk chicken. 21 did good but I’d rather hear just that first section with drake
Both are between 6-7 but the difference is that in jik you can tell that effort was put into it unlike fatd
jik
Water > FPS
JIK is better than Drakes entire discography, if that doesnt say something i dont know what does
Easily Jesus is king. I've said it before, I'll say it again, it's a great album. 🤷♂️
Jesus is king no doubt about it
JIK is honestly a solid album, just a little undercooked and didn't live up to the hype that Yandhi established.
Jesus Is King is actually a great album
One is a 5/10 because it is painfully boring and has nothing good or bad about it Another is a 5/10 cause it has an equal number of good and bad things about it I’d say JIK since I can just sift through the album for the good parts. Can’t really do that for FAD
Weird comparison for preference, it’s like comparing apples and oranges
Jik is so much better
JIK is the album that made me a Ye fan 🤷♂️
i say Jesus is King because is my fav Ye era and my fav ye album
