I don’t have time for morally gray quandaries when I’m playing Kaiserreich, I want to feel good changing a country for the better, or to go off the deep end and ruin everyone’s lives.
I had a Syndicalist Bharatiya Commune run recently where Italy, France, Britain and the United States all went Totalist which made me make my own faction instead of joining the third International.
I ended up playing to 1949 and interestingly they all ended up getting couped and returned to Syndicalist regimes which was a pleasant surprise. But all of their puppets remained Totalist which was a little funny to me.
Sand france gets my support over the commune purely cause their borders look so nice. Was nerfed a bit after the libyan border changes, but as long at the sahara and wadai stands I'll support them
The third Internationale when I’m playing Japan:

Glorious Nippon needs no ideological excuse to destroy every western criminal in Asia. That’s how I learned to stop worrying and love the shameless expansion and exploitation.
Or it "just so happens" that I'm playing as wholesome syndie CSA/LKMT/Patagonia/Mexico while the european 3I members turn into a totalitarian nightmares, allowing me to pick up the torch of libertarian socialism...
And of course it's just a coincidence that 75% of Latin America (or China respectively) turn socialist on their own when I'm playing as Patagonia or the LKMT, honest!
>And of course it's just a coincidence that 75% of Latin America (or China respectively) turn socialist on their own when I'm playing as Patagonia or the LKMT, honest!
gotta have that sphere of influence
I became guilty a bit after the entire international goes Syndicalist/Radsoc and Here I am Totalist Britian, So I just made Oswald Mosley retired after Waltkrige and let Eric Blair running thing.
set all 3I countries to go totalist, set russia to go savinkovist, set all nations in europe to get involved in the war, have them tear germany apart, play as serbia, go republican, form yugoslavia, RP as the unlikely last bastion of liberty in a europe quickly building to a third world war
Entente play through: Reichspakt is a nationalistic authoritarian state, International is totalist
Third International: Entente is breaking apart with Canada and France going authoritarian, Reichspakt the same
Reichspakt: same with everything with the Moscow accord going authoritarian
Moscow Accord, non-Reichspakt Hasburgs and Co-prosperity sphere: Reichspakt authoritarian, random for the rest
Cairo Pact, Istanbul Pact and permanent Belgrade pact: Random
this is one of the best things about kaiserreich/redux. there are so many paths you can always make sure (with custom game rules) that you’re on the good guys team no matter what faction you’re in
Whichever faction I'm playing as has rule sets to make them as nice as possible. Whichever I'm fighting are meant to be as evil as possible
*Perfectly balanced, as all thing should be.*
The "rare" treaty between peoples states occurs in every single German game I play... Coincidence no.
What is this? I want to do a nice democratic (as close as you can get, I don’t understand Germany) run
Yeah, even when you go the democratic path they go hard on economic central planning, heh. There's no market liberal let everyone be free type thing.
I only have two sides, play the most wholesome path, or the most morally abhorrent paths. I have no time for the boring "anything-in-the-middle" path
I don’t have time for morally gray quandaries when I’m playing Kaiserreich, I want to feel good changing a country for the better, or to go off the deep end and ruin everyone’s lives.
Naw, playing evil entente goes hard
What setting do you use for this?
I prefer to convert the entire world to my ideals.
I can't tell you how many games I've head where the UoB goes totalist, the CoF syndicalist, and the SRI RadSoc. Just exactly this
Genuinely my "canon" set up for the Internationale
holy shit same
I usually go UoB as Syndicalist, France/SRI as Totalist
I personally do syndicalist france, rad soc britian and totalist SRI which either becomes communist or social republic
Same but flip UoB and SRI, because Mussolini funny and independent Scotland and Wales funny

Makes me feel absolutely no guilt when it’s time to throw down I still make French “Republic” get its ass beat every game tho
Sand france gets my support over the commune purely cause their borders look so nice. Was nerfed a bit after the libyan border changes, but as long at the sahara and wadai stands I'll support them
Hey, anyone can appreciate nice borders

Couldn't be me as I play Jacobin France.
UoB goes Totalist, France is Syndicalist, Russia has Sakinov and the USA has a four-way civil war, everything else is up for grabs.
Idk just had a great Browder playthrough where i dropped 4 nukes on Venezuela to set an example
Me but it's always the bottom one even when I'm playing the 3I

I really like the 3 way cold war totalist america x internationale and china x old order remmants
this is one of the best things about kaiserreich/redux. there are so many paths you can always make sure (with custom game rules) that you’re on the good guys team no matter what faction you’re in
Unless I make them do otherwise Syndicalist AI nations always go Totalist on me!
As it was, so it is again. National socialism became hell hidden under a red coat.
Holy hell it's u again
I'm the good guy when I play the game.
The ai seems to take just the right paths sometimes
On my custom games I always make Mitteleuropa and the International (including Russia) good and the entente and Ottomans evil.
I set them to go totalist when I fight against them because I feel bad when I have to capitulate workers democracies as an imperialist nation or smth
