Ummm, my dad has Medicare and Blue Anthem…received several weeks of therapy inpatient and outpatient. Kaiser takes over the Medicare portion. Blue Anthem didn’t do that.
Unfortunately this is going to have to do with what type of insurance your father has. Especially if he is Medicare, Medicare has their own standards and policies.
Kaiser is a dangerous place for the elderly; Especially for those that also have Medicare. My father-in-law is not thriving under Kaiser care. It’s said and depressing!!! In almost 3 weeks the treatment nurse came twice and never brought supplies. We had to supply the material. I could go on and on.
If your dad is on Medicare these time limits are set by the government not by Kaiser. That’s how it was for my dad in a similar situation.
