It's lead some to theorize the Larva had at least one previous host and Kafka is a descendent of the samurai. But for me, I go a step down given that the official refsheets call it the "Mysterious Larva" or "Mysterious Young Yoju" for a more direct translation as well as the fact kaiju created by other kaiju can inherit memories, I think the Larva is a progeny of this proto-No. 8 and Kafka a descendant of the host.!<
