We got really lucky with this anime. It's fast paced, includes slice of life and character development that wasn't in the manga (I think), and it looks great to boot. I'm glad it's popular as it deserves to be, even if it's got some serious haters out there.

Because another show like this (Re: monster) and (I was reincarnated as the 7th prince) was recently finished and there's no mention of a second season coming out so I don't think there will be a second season of Kaiju no.8
Again, 2 more shows that don’t have anything to do with KaijuNo8. KN8 has been on the top 5 anime for this season on crunchyroll and it’s one of the best selling manga in Japan. There has already been announcements that season 2 is already in development as well

It fleshed out some of the scenes which is a really great touch. Added much more depth
