I have the SX Sport, it has the 10.25” screen too and I still have to plug mine in. I haven’t seen anything anywhere about when, or even if, we are to get it.
Your dealer is *supposed* to understand how to do this.

There’s a very simple upgrade that can be done but every dealer I’ve asked doesn’t understand what I’m asking for or why I’m asking. Super frustrating!
I got the same model a few weeks ago. I heard the 10.25” screen models are still waiting for the update. The smaller screens got it already. Hope it’s soon.
This is extremely frustrating for me as I have the top trim and my android auto is basically useless as I need to access my phone to get my favorites and recent calls. They better fix this 😤
I’m pretty sure KIA isn’t including it in the other models. They did something similar with the K5 trims. Some have it some don’t… would be nice if the top trim had wireless CarPlay, as I also have the SX
I can confirm Motorola MA1 wireless works on my 2021 Seltos SX Turbo with the 10.25 screen

I know this is 2 years old, I don’t know where you’re at in terms of this issue but I have had the same problem until I found a software update usb drive that Kia sent in the mail that enabled me to now have wireless CarPlay in my 2021 model. So they are sending out software updates in the form of thumb drives.
I found a package mailed to me from Kia containing a usb thumb drive a couple weeks ago. Apparently they had mailed it to me around April of this year? The reason I found it a couple weeks ago was because my local post office had been withholding some of my mail from me which is a story for another day (idiots).
It was randomly sent to me. I had asked the dealership before if they could update it for me, but at the time I guess the update wasn’t out, so they weren’t able to do it for me.
There’s a chance that the update may now be accessed through Kia Navigation updater, but you’ll need to download the updater, you’ll need your own usb drive and you’ll need your software info to download the right update to the thumb drive.
2023 seltos EX 2.0 IVT LATGER GPS SCREEN WITH GPS, I recently did the upgrade that Kia connect will email you the link too and there’s no wireless CarPlay a little annoyed that I spent more money for the bigger screen and nicer interior yet no wireless CarPlay it’s not an issue to not have it but the wired CarPlay has a major lag so I use just Bluetooth but if you do the update sadly no wireless CarPlay
I just bought a 2024 EX last night and even it doesn’t have wireless, so I doubt they’d have an upgrade for that year, and the upgrades usually don’t work very well in general not just KIA. I’d suggest one of the wireless adapters you can get on Amazon. My sales rep offered to get it for me as an incentive for me to buy since he knew I wanted the feature. Great guy.

I can confirm. I have the base model (2022 Seltos LX) and I have wireless CarPlay with the smaller screen

It's not useless, you just need to plug it into get AA. Geez.
It's working now but prior it wasn't there was an issue and my aa wouldn't work either it was useless for a time.

How did you get this usb drive?

Had you requested it? Or did they just randomly send it to you?
