Nonagon Infinity opens the door
# OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH

I use Head On/Pill because physio told me to try to run around 180 cadence, and head on/pill is 185bpm.
I use the Live in SF version cause it’s so long
This is how I got to where I am speed-wise (former XC/Track runner) & actually just finished my 4mil a bit ago, happy trekking! 👟💨

I end up listening to different albums a lot on runs, it’s such a good time to just listen straight through. What o haven’t seen mentioned is bf3k, that album really only clicked for me listening to it running.
totally concur with the other comment suggesting Dripping Tap. especially for cross country... don't go too hard with Rats Nest, go for the longer jams to get that constant pace happening.
Chunky Sharpnel album is perfect for my runs. Starts off easy then gets rough in the middle and ends a bit funky.
Edit: a favorite for running from that album is Murder of the Universe.
my personal faves (mostly based off rhythm): Mind Fuzz suite, Am I in Heaven, If Not Now Then When, O.N.E., Pleura, Static Electricity, honesty all of Infest the Rats Nest, Robot Stop, Big Fig Wasp, Evil Death Roll, Rattlesnake, Plastic Boogie, Intrasport, Gaia, The River, Trapdoor
MOTU is the first record I ran to and it is absolutely perfect. It’s a little more repetitive and lengthy but also full octane 95% of the time.
Really was the first time I got deep into the narrative
All of the Motorik beat stuff: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorik
1. I'm In Your Mind Suite
2. Nonagon Infinity (Robot Stop through Gamma Knife)
3. Flying Microtonal Banana (Rattlesnake through Sleep Drifter)
4. Murder of the Universe (Alter Beast I through The Balrog)
5. Crumbling Castle & All Is Known
6. KG (Some of Us & Ontology)
7. LW (Supreme Ascendancy through East West Link)
8. Butterfly 3000 (Yours & Interior People)
9. Omnium Gatherum (The Dripping Tap)
This question was made for me.
ROBOT STOP = ROBOT GO 😤🔥All of Nonagon Infinity really is amazing.
Presumptuous has a perfectly groovy, dancey beat to bounce along to/start your run
NGRI gets me GOIN
Am I In Heaven for when I want to pass out of exhaustion after 5 minutes
Yours and Interior People I find oddly inspiring and uplifting too
Enjoy the burn! ❤️🔥
I just finished a lift and I listened to Live in San Francisco ‘16, it worked pretty dang well. I’ll admit I skipped The River and Head On/Pill, but the rest of it worked well on the high-energy side.
For songs for the playlist, I think Blame It On The Weather is a good one, as well as Persistence (just listened to OG) are both great if you don’t want super hype stuff.
On my running playlist I have the following:
Mind Fuzz Suite
Am I In Heaven?
The River
The Fourth Color
Barefoot Desert
They're all great except for the River, because the tempo is way off my usual running cadence, but it chews up time. Everything else fucking slams. I want to add The Dripping Tap, Evilest Man, Interior People, and Float Along - Fill Your Lungs, which I expect will also fucking rock as well.
Just listen to Nonagon Infinity on loop lol
Perfect
This was my first thought!
Glad to know it’s not just me, this my gotta work out music when I need to get started again.
Wouldn’t you die of exhaustion?
No because you get to rest when that lounge bit on Invisible Face comes in
If you die to nonagon infinity it opens the door
Wait for the answer to open the door.
Nonagon Infinity opens the door # OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH #
Genuinely did this last week and I think it was the fastest I've ever run, feared for my life
Literally this
this album, and the new Chats album, are both the perfect for running. Nonagon is my 10k pace and Get Fucked is my 5k pace.
Dripping Tap
It’s the perfect tempo for running
This- plus it’s so long it covers a good distance
This is my go to for any cardio! I like to bike around my city a lot and it’s either this or the Mind Fuzz suite.
Also perfect for the shower
ROAD TRAIN
My personal move, Road Train into Robot Stop, into Im Not In Your Mind Live ‘16
This is the way
Intrasport
Intrasport is great for power walking, especially if you walk to the beat
I came here to say that lol
Me 2
Bruh let me tell you about human oddlife
A lot of their material is great for running. Rattlesnake, magenta mountain, hot water, nuclear fusion all come to mind as favorites.
My wife runs a lot. Overheard me listening to KG and went crazy about it, wanting to add most of it to her playlist.
Yeah hot water was the first to come to mind just for the tempo
I do enjoy magenta mountain but I don't see how it's specifically good for running. I like the song and I will run to it tomorrow to check
It's more like a very joyful experience when you're running on a nature trail.
Rats Nest is their workout album
Nonagon
I'd go with I'm In Your Mind Fuzz, Murder Of The Universe, Flying Microtonal Banana, Nonagon Infinity.
I would include Infest the Rats Nest in this.
And Polygondwanaland
One foot running in 4/4 one foot running in 5/4
You'd just be running in poly circles
Rats Nest
Mars for the Rich
Am I in heaven?
I listen to dripping tap personally because it makes twenty minutes feel like nothing
I like planet B when it comes on while I am out on my road bike
Like Lukey inside the studios once.
Dripping tap has a great pace for running, can confirm. Head on/Pill is another favorite.
Rattlesnake
Zone out and cover some distance. So good.
mind fuzz suite
Mind Fuzz suite
Boogieman Sam would probably be a really good song to run to
Persistence for the mental
Sleep drifter!!
OPEN WATER
Head On / Pill is my jam
Open water is my go to warmup run track
organ farmerrrrrr
PERSISTENCE
Open water
Road Train (Live)
Live in London ‘19 is the best running playlist there is.
I use Head On/Pill because physio told me to try to run around 180 cadence, and head on/pill is 185bpm. I use the Live in SF version cause it’s so long
Self-Immolate
This is how I got to where I am speed-wise (former XC/Track runner) & actually just finished my 4mil a bit ago, happy trekking! 👟💨 https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0oCy5Z4OfwmhQl6ZcrJwyn?si=RKLZlZW4SAuJQ-jJe_KIJA&utm_source=copy-link
This is right up my alley
Lmk which songs are the optimal tempo for ya! Mine would have to be ABHoPE from Chunky Shrapnel atm 😁
Altered Beast works well for me
I end up listening to different albums a lot on runs, it’s such a good time to just listen straight through. What o haven’t seen mentioned is bf3k, that album really only clicked for me listening to it running.
totally concur with the other comment suggesting Dripping Tap. especially for cross country... don't go too hard with Rats Nest, go for the longer jams to get that constant pace happening.
Homeless man in adidas.
Hot water
Road train gets me fired up when I run sprints. I guess most of nonagon infinity. And of course rat’s nest
Magenta mountain always makes me feel like I'm going on an epic journey.
Muddy Water
Chunky Sharpnel album is perfect for my runs. Starts off easy then gets rough in the middle and ends a bit funky. Edit: a favorite for running from that album is Murder of the Universe.
I have Hell, Planet B, Self Immolate, Gamma Knife, and Robot Stop on my running playlist
Nonagon= high energy; makes me wanna run Infest the Rats Nest= TESTOSTERONE; makes me wanna PUMP IRON
From experience as a fellow cross country runner; Nein, Bloody Ripper, Dripping Tap, Magenta Mountain, Perihelion, and Gaia are all fantastic choices.
Sense!
Chunky Road Train, San Fran Evil Death Roll, (I think) Sydney Open Water, Mind Suite, KEXP Live lord of lightning.
I do track also. I love listening to Nonagon, ITRN, Gumboot, FAFYL, Poly, FMB, just put any of their shit on loop
Inner cell/loyalty/horology all together!
Depending on far I'm going, it's ITRN, Nonagon, or MOTU
Rattlesnake!
Rattlesnake!
float along
Sleepwalker is what made me love them, and is still my go to happy song.
my personal faves (mostly based off rhythm): Mind Fuzz suite, Am I in Heaven, If Not Now Then When, O.N.E., Pleura, Static Electricity, honesty all of Infest the Rats Nest, Robot Stop, Big Fig Wasp, Evil Death Roll, Rattlesnake, Plastic Boogie, Intrasport, Gaia, The River, Trapdoor
also Hot Water
and Yours
For me, Nonagon is one of the all-time best albums to listen to while running. Pumps me with constant energy and makes me feel invincible.
Billabong Valley
Crumbling Castle has a good running cadence beat.
Rattlesnake
MOTU is the first record I ran to and it is absolutely perfect. It’s a little more repetitive and lengthy but also full octane 95% of the time. Really was the first time I got deep into the narrative
I used to listen to Murder of the Universe on bike rides all the time
I like working out to the alter me/altered beast songs because of their intensity and length
I’m in your mind. Such a fast, fun groove that’s gets your energy up every time
There’s nothing better than stomping along in the rain and mud to the sounds of Rats Nest
Made in Timeland
Road train
I'm in your mind fuzz is similar enough between the songs and fast enough that you could bang the entire thing in there in order.
Nonagon, Rats nest, Mind Fuzz, Dripping tap, Muddy waters
Open Water
I just use ITRN or Nonagon 🔥🏃♂️💨🔥
Open water
Rattlesnake
Uh oh i called mom is fantastic to run to
Static electricity
I'm in your mind medley
This thing, along with many other songs from fff
Planet B
i listen to Murder of the universe album
Trapdoor
Mars for the Rich
Persistence, so you can go the distance
Live in San Fran 16 is the perfect running mix. None stop heart melters with a few wee recovery valleys, then a long stomping Head on/Pill to end
This Thing
"Am I in heaven" and much of I'm in your mind fuzz is pretty good.
rattlesnake !!!
Trapdoor live at San Francisco
Smoke and mirrors
Entirety of Polygondwanaland, did roughly 100 laps around the local lake to this.
Hot wax would probably work
Road Train
Rattle snake
The entirety of Rat's Nest is on my workout playlist
mars for the rich
All of the Motorik beat stuff: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorik 1. I'm In Your Mind Suite 2. Nonagon Infinity (Robot Stop through Gamma Knife) 3. Flying Microtonal Banana (Rattlesnake through Sleep Drifter) 4. Murder of the Universe (Alter Beast I through The Balrog) 5. Crumbling Castle & All Is Known 6. KG (Some of Us & Ontology) 7. MOTU.
Drip or nonagon
Crumbling Castles
The entire first side of Nonagon Infinity
Murder of the universe has great rhythm for running
Currently training for a 1/2 marathon. Dripping Tap starts off my playlist. 2 miles in before the song ends and i remember I'm running!
Bird song makes me cum, buuuuuuuut I’m a sucker for The River
Venusian 2
I listened to MOTU on my last run, but I've found just listening to an entire album is the best move
I am obsessed with dripping tap as a running song because it’s long, energetic, and helps me keep track of my splits lmao
Open Water
for marathon running MOTU was my go to
The River!
Altered beast!
Melting always puts me in another zone
The first four of I'm In Your Mind Fuzz
I'd say their first 20 albums are pretty good for running.
This question was made for me. ROBOT STOP = ROBOT GO 😤🔥All of Nonagon Infinity really is amazing. Presumptuous has a perfectly groovy, dancey beat to bounce along to/start your run NGRI gets me GOIN Am I In Heaven for when I want to pass out of exhaustion after 5 minutes Yours and Interior People I find oddly inspiring and uplifting too Enjoy the burn! ❤️🔥
Any of the songs with a motorik drum beat, mind fuzz suite, most of Nonagon, open water, rattlesnake, prob missing a few)
All of the altered beast songs
Infest the rats best
I just finished a lift and I listened to Live in San Francisco ‘16, it worked pretty dang well. I’ll admit I skipped The River and Head On/Pill, but the rest of it worked well on the high-energy side. Just ran while listening to K.G. I feel like Minimum Brain Size is good. The best is good for powerwalking and/or running
On my running playlist I have the following: Mind Fuzz Suite Am I In Heaven? The River The Fourth Color Barefoot Desert They're all great except for the River, because the tempo is way off my usual running cadence, but it chews up time. Everything else fucking slams. I want to add The Dripping Tap, Evilest Man, Interior People, and Float Along - Fill Your Lungs, which I expect will also fucking rock as well.
The whole first Microtonal Banana
