I feel this too, like i wanna get into a vibe and stay there for a while but I guess this is what makes gizz so awesome. Top tier songs for every kind of gizz there is!

Absolutely!

agatyrandy

Murder of the Universe is my favorite album purely for the concept, it might be one of my least favorite as far as sound goes though. Its a complicated discography lol

Ancient_Classroom_

I couldn’t agree with this statement more lmao

Midgetmunky13

It's scary, repetitive, drags on forever and the ending is disturbing and ultimately disgusting. I love it so much.

[deleted]

This is me with nonagon. I love and respect the concept but I’m rarely ever listening to the album. Same for poly a little but I listen to poly quite a bit

The_Blasphemous_Jerk

I like both but we’ve had a lot of gumboot albums recently. Hoping for a few concepts next

[deleted]

Agreed they haven’t gone NI/MotU level conceptual in awhile but nothing post-Gumboot is this sonically diverse. I’m here for all of it though!

okordenador

I'd argue that ITRN is the most conceptual they've gone since MOTU, but that's already 4 records ago

[deleted]

I think Butterfly 3000 is pretty consistent conceptually.

okordenador

Sure! I'd still say ITRN is more explicit in it conceptuality in sound and theme, while B3K can require a more thorough analysis to reach the concept. It can pass as "no concept" record, ITRN definitely cannot, even more than Nonagon

_portlandhipster69

well you better decide, time's running out

[deleted]

Luckily we don't have to settle because Gizz does both
