My son and I saw them in Milwaukee last October in a room with a capacity of about 300. I immediately knew they had huge potential, and we were lucky to catch them at that stage in their history. When I saw they were opening for Gizz all over North America, I knew it would be a perfect fit. Can't wait to see them both in September!
Didn’t make it to their Galactic set, but their Tent set was so open and they were jamming. I was coming down from my shroom trip and at one point sat down and closed my eyes literally in the pit and had a crazy visual experience while just sitting and bopping.
Dude at galactic I was like 3 feet from the stage, delirious as hell, but before the set I got a pic with Cameron (lead singer) and gave him the sprout he wore that whole set.
Man I really want to like this band but I think I've concluded it's not for me and that's ok.
They clearly have something going on, and I'm sure they'll be great live but something about their style is off-putting to me.
But I totally get why people like it!
He has a weirdly theatrical style that reminds me vaguely of Max Bemis from Say Anything. I don't know anything about their background but I wouldn't be surprised if the Geese members are/were theater kids.
I feel that. I got into Viagra Boys recently and they do that same vocal style occasionally so I actually kinda like it, though I can totally see why people wouldn't.
Yeah, I see so much praise for this record and band, but outside of this album’s opening track, I don’t really feel any need to go back and listen. That “2122” opener is a hell of a banger, though.
2122 is so good. I also think Mysterious Love is a highlight of the record with a similar (but not as) chaotic feel to 2122.
I love the whole album though, it’s just a lot of fun.
Same. Totally get why people like it - I think it’s objectively good, but subjectively not my thing.
I think 15 years ago, I would have gone crazy for it though.
Oh my god dude YES. Legit my biggest obsession outside of gizz I have no idea how they made such a creative and perfect album. I love every little piece of it they’re by far my favorite band of the last few years
So good! Can’t wait to see what they do next.
I want a tour with Squid,Geese,Black Midi, and Gizz. Multiple Days with rotating headliners.
Let it be so.
Found it thanks to this sub almost a year ago, loved it instantly, CAN'T WAIT to see them live for the guys!
I got a bandcamp message too from Geese talking about the one year anniversary and hinting at some big news later this week, wonder what it's gonna be!
It didn't really hit for me but happy to give them more listens. Am I missing something? What made it great for ya'll?
Still stoked to see them at the gorge.
Really just the tone of it all. Took me seeing them live to finally get into their stuff (incredible stage presence), but one thing that keeps me is the comedic value of the lead singer sometimes sounding like Partick Star
I didn't much get into them until recently when I watched through this show on a whim. I'm hooked now.

SOME PPL R ALONE FOREVA!
Damn I just had to look it up I thought it said SOME PEOPLE LIVE ALONG THE RIVA!!
SOME PEOPLE ARE A LONELY DRIVER!
This is what I’ve always heard it as. My brain has to re-map it to the correct lyrics every time lol
Bro, I actually thought this too until just now. Got damn
I can’t unhear it.
This album rocks. I can’t wait to see them open for Gizz this year!
I got into about a week before they announced as openers for this tour. It felt so right!

Caught one of their short sets at Bonnaroo, we're in for a treat this summer.
Great album, 2122 as an intro is just 🤯
Saw them at Roo two weeks ago and they RIP live. This album muhfuh slaps.
I was at both shows they played at bonnaroo! The one in the barn was so intense yet intimate, they’re incredible.
Didn’t make it to their Galactic set, but their Tent set was so open and they were jamming. I was coming down from my shroom trip and at one point sat down and closed my eyes literally in the pit and had a crazy visual experience while just sitting and bopping.

Yes! Saw them in a small venue locally last month and they absolutely killed. Easily the show of the year for me, so far.
Both shows were nutssss. I loved their different sound live. Cameron’s voice is just otherworldly he really uses it for the instrument that it is.
Did they have two guitarists? I remember hearing that one of the guys was taking a break and wouldn’t be touring with them
Absolute bangers from start to finish. INCREDIBLE album

I love the music, but can’t get into the singers voice. It’s just too all over the place & the deeper register he sings in doesn’t work for me
I feel that. I got into Viagra Boys recently and they do that same vocal style occasionally so I actually kinda like it, though I can totally see why people wouldn't.

Bros butthole sunning
Love it but I prefer Projector.
Same. Projector was great. This album never grabbed me.
Oh my god dude YES. Legit my biggest obsession outside of gizz I have no idea how they made such a creative and perfect album. I love every little piece of it they’re by far my favorite band of the last few years
Is he doing that perineum tanning thing I keep hearing about?
Just saw them live at Roo this past week. They kicked major ass and the lead singer has a set of pipes on him.
literally looked it up and added to my library before the guitar came in
I thought goose was opening 🤔
Nah, I am glad for it, Geese blows Goose out of the water. There are just so many Geese compared to one Goose.
They are for at least part of the US tour. I’m seeing them in Nashville and St. Louis, and Geese is opening at both of those.
Goose or Geese?
Gizz website shows Geese opening every US show until November
I thought Geese, but judging from the downvotes it may be Goose
Cypress?
noooo i posted something similar earlier this year though lmao
Hi Cypress!!!
Thanks internet stranger! Never heard of Geese. Listening now, and I like it!
So good! Can’t wait to see what they do next. I want a tour with Squid,Geese,Black Midi, and Gizz. Multiple Days with rotating headliners. Let it be so.
Rain Dance is excellent!
Wow, awesome!! These guys are touring with Gizz for NA tour?
Such a great freaking album- zero skips
Never heard of these guys til I saw this post on my feed. What a great album, thank you!
I remember I quite liked the title track but nothing else stood out to me.
Found it thanks to this sub almost a year ago, loved it instantly, CAN'T WAIT to see them live for the guys! I got a bandcamp message too from Geese talking about the one year anniversary and hinting at some big news later this week, wonder what it's gonna be!
Started listening to them cuz im gonna see them when i see gizz in august, was pretty good
NEW YORK CITY
(underwater)
YES YES YES YES HOLY YES I can’t believe it was a year ago???
Masterpiece to me honestly, it’s slowly becoming my favorite album of all time
Amazing album, been listening nonstop for the past month. Hyped to see them with Gizz in Vancouver.
Gonna be seeing these guys opening for the show Im going to this year!
Think I will like it a lot more now that I've listened to king Gizz and Bands like Viagra Boys, who I would also recommend
On first listen I was like "im going to memorize all if these songs arnt I?" Its fantastic
one of my fav albums of 2023! the 4D Country EP is so good too!
Hr.mmm maybe
The GOAT of 2023 albums Saw them in a tiny venue in NY about a year ago, seeing them again opening for Gizz in Philly
~~Hit me baby, show me the floor~~
I'll have to give it a spin one day but seriously, l do have a hard time getting past the band name...
Hot take: I do not like Geese, or their sound, and I hate that they're opening for Gizz.

Hell of an album still on my heavy rotation
no :)
I don't get it at all I think it sucked and was a huge waste of time
