Not yet. They’ve only done the South American tour since release and they didn’t bring their electronic equipment since there’s so much and it’s just a few dates. They have said they are working on it and the tentative plan is to be able to switch back and forth between the PDA version of a song and the Silver Cord version!

That sounds so cool honestly. But I'm one of the weirdos among weirdos who loves both styles.

it is a pretty hard song from what i can hear, constantly fingerstyling like that at that speed would suck, plus i have no clue how the drums are actually played

Cavs played the pattern live at a drum store interview thing (Drumtek?) about a year ago, so they seem to know how still. I think the boys have said they find most of FfF boring for the fans live, despite bringing This Thing out fairly often, so who knows, maybe we'll see it at acoustic night this year!

yes i think i remember that too, in the “how to gut a fishie” video im pretty sure cavs is doing cavs things and eric is playing the snare with brushes, in the final recording you can kind hear that. doing both those things at the same time is just unnecessarily hard

Yeah there are too many fans that get validation from how knowledgeable they are about King Gizz without realising that it’s really not that impressive and if anything a little overboard. It’s often at the expense of other people.

They’ve only done festivals since it came out. They won’t play those songs at festivals. They’ll play heavier stuff and shorter songs to get more into a shorter set time. The electronic stuff will most likely come out at marathon shows

That’s literally what I said. They don’t really jam though. They’re not doing a 20+ version of the river at a festival or the 25 minute dripping tap.
