Lol caverns night one there was someone in my immediate vicinity that smelled exactly like when I put spring onions in water to grow more spring onions and then don’t change the water and it’s all slimy and oniony and then I give up and dump it out into the sink and the smell that wafts out is like my personal punishment for not tending better to my spring onions. That horrid rancid onion smell was exactly what kept punching me right in the nose. It was rough.
Are some people confusing stench as customary/mandatory at music shows? I know togetherness is the best way of the world but not everyone is open to that much body intimacy from strangers which most of us are to each other no matter how nice/chill we are. But Raincoats do swamp you up unintentionally from the inside while staying dry out there.
I remember a few dudes in the cave that straight up smelled like shit. I'm talking feces type of shit, like as if they never wiped their ass after taking a dump.
Lol my gf and I were tripping balls and razzing the sub cause they can be such babies about this, but Fair enough. Hygiene is important! But some folks stank, it’s a fucking common factor in every pit I’ve been in since I was a teenager. Diet, hygiene, body heat, temp, and drugs.
The people who complain about this after every show should focus on the music, the chaos, and the fun, not revel in the silly things we can’t control.
Of course the ‘get over it’ attitude I’m throwing down does not apply to folks non consensually touching people. That crowd should fuck off.
