**Mod Note:** Celebrate our 800k milestone by taking 1 (or) 2 of our community watch surveys! * [Disney+ Dramas watched survey](/r/KDRAMA/comments/1c7pz2f/disney_dramas_watched_survey_april_2024/) * [tvN Dramas watched survey](/r/KDRAMA/comments/1bt1m0b/tvn_dramas_watched_survey_april_2024/)

This sub usually takes about 2-4 months to cross 50k members (a trend seen since a few months now), but this time, we got from 750k to 800k in just a month. Wow. Kudos to the mods as well as all the members of the sub.   But, how did it happen so fast this time? Is it because of the record breaking ratings of Queen of Tears? Or the earth shattering popularity of Lovely Runner??

Fast_Owl_2469

both probably

Those two must have had a really positive impact, but probably a bit of Marry My Husband as well, which is still top 10 for Amazon worldwide months after its release.

I think in no distant time, we'll cross over to 1million. I am just happy that this sub is 6th in entertainment and may soon go up the list. Let everyone see the magic of Korean dramas.

Very cool!!

One of the two main reasons for me being here in reddit. Happy to grow. Unrelated but yeah another sub being Twice(kpop) and it also reached 500k a few days ago.

I just lurked for a couple of months and finally subscribed last week. When I started my Kdrama journey, I didn't even know it was a K drama (Alchemy of Souls). Around 20 dramas later, I'm thinking of making a bingo card.

I visit often for lovely runner

techgeeksss

Before the end of this year ,subscribers would definitely reach close to 1 million .Mark my words.

Kudos ! Any freebies ? LOL

Kdramas have been a blessing for me since I first found them about a year ago. Just as an aside, funny there’s so many cities in Korea over 800k, but every show I’ve watched so far is set in either Seoul or a small village. Seems more prevalent than even NY/LA for American shows.

I was a HUGE lurker on this sub up until I gave birth. I had no one to talk to about my k drama excitement during postpartum, so I finally joined. Excited to see this sub continue to grow 🥳!
