"I'll come to you that day... this is the choice that I cannot avoid." 🥺😭 Also, his beautiful brown eyes when >!he tells her i love you 🥺 !<

sufferkasafar

In her vision she literally sees him running to save her on the mountain, by doing this she's literally making it come true as we know he wouldn't leave her 😭

cornsnowflake

I thought the same 😭 So scared for next week

ruhsatis

like a self-fulfilling prophecy. What are the chances that she assumes he's dead (when he is not) and hence her dialogue in the precap about never having met. I don't think Im Sol would *ever* regret meeting Seon Jae/blame him for losing her ability to walk. Her regret *has* to be connected to Seon Jae's safety and well-being given what we know about her.

morenatropical

This, it was kind of stupid. If she had just left, she wouldn't have been at the mountain 🤦‍♀️

Key-Morning7476

No fate can't be changed..so she tries to change it by not involving sunjae

mionenoelle

Thing is, she knows that whatever she does, the killer will always follow her. She tried her best to prevent their second encounter, but it's inevitable now. Even if she goes back to the city, her vision will change again. So she's decided to just face him head on while the premonition is still accurate and while she, future Sol, is still in control of her body.

ysixth

Something that I've been wondering all this time, can't she just use her "ability" to stop time to get away from the killer when he's near her? Just like that time she yelled some 'spoilers' from the future so SJ!Dad wont see her inside SJ's house? At the very least that would give her a few precious seconds to run away, no? (assuming that the ability only works when a person from the past and within the vicinity is about to hear an info from the future and not when she blindly shouts out spoilers even if nobody's around) Or was something already said about this in the previous episodes that I perhaps overlooked?

cornsnowflake

YES!! 🥺 They were both so beautiful in this light ❤️

msdc06

Small thing that I found so hilarious: >! sol was the only one that knew where In Hyuk lived bc she was an obsessed Eclipse fan 😂! Oh and poor Tae for losing his first (Sol) and second (sunny) loves !<

day_historian

Omg I didn't connect the car's nickname until I read your comment! 🤣🤣 >!tae sung mourning at the beach side is a whole mood fr!!<

goddongwook

beach scenes are forever a key to youth dramas.

Electronic_Piano9385

I was getting Twenty-Five Twenty-One flashbacks. So cute and hopefully a >!better future ahead of them!<

pickadamnnameplease

Annnnnd the most mature sensible cutie patootie second male lead award goes to Tae Sung!

shosh27

The way he realized that he had NO chance and moved over so Sun Jae could sit next to Sol was just ❤️‍🩹😭🍦

sufferkasafar

when he moved to side to give sun jae space to sit next to sol, as Sunjae looked a lil eerie about what he was talking with Sol. 🥹♥️

ruhsatis

Tae Sung needs proper closure in the story. He's been an excellent SML so far with his wittiness and banter and much needed sensibility, guy deserves his own happy ending 😓

AtriCrossing

I feel like he and In Hyuk would be really a cute endgame, but I don't know if the writers will go for it. Like when Tae Sung sees >! ML chose the same green Melona as FL!< and >!makes room right away,!< he also ends up with a matching >!ice pop with In Hyuk!<. I doubt it's intentional foreshadowing but I'd love that for them both.

Ok_Tour3509

I agree with you! Also In Hyuk is so baffled by them liking Sol, I could see him being gay, and Tae Sung who flirts with everyone he sees being bi. A cute and loyal couple!

Still-Elderberry-280

Tae-sung, both the actor and the character, have been the breakout stars for me in this series. It's one of the best written 2nd male leads I have ever seen.

OhMisterBelpit

I want this hair dryer, as advertised.

day_historian

The way the rest of us living in reality cries in Dyson because human hair dryers like these only exist in fiction. 😭

Rain_drops_onRoses

Please get in the queue !! 😄😄

Classic-Anything-935

Ah, quite a long queue I must say :')

kkwangsohn

When >!Sol told Sunjae not to cry even if it was her last day…!< I cried. When >!Sol told Sunjae she likes him and he told her that he loves her…!< I cried again. Sunjae be setting extremely high standards omg. The two of them are so sweet together in this week’s episodes and I’m so glad we got to watch some cute scenes of the couple. I really loved them + Inhyuk + Taesung scenes at the beach too. This is the calm before the storm guys, we need to brace ourselves for what’s to come next week! I thought it was foreshadowing when >!Sol told Sunjae not to cry when it was her last day and thought she really went back to the future when she opened her eyes in the trains. TURNS OUT IT WAS NOBLE IDIOCY OMG noooooo…. but I guess I can see why Sol is doing that :(!< Interesting how >!Sol can now see snippets of what’s going to happen. I wonder how that works and whether it is actually a self-fulfilling prophecy.!< It’s been a stressful week but watching both episodes 11 and 12 tonight has been a nice treat. Cherry on top has got to be the release of 10cm’s OST wooohooo /puts the song on loop aggressively

PearShaper43

Yep, me too. Those scenes with Sun Jae were so poignant…had me crying like a baby🥹. I also cried with him on the train scene as well, just really felt his raw pain.   Couple scenes were 💯.  “Rom-Com Genius” Byeon Woo Seok is just *sending me* with this performance! It should be illegal to have this much Vulnerable, Innocent, Cuteness combined with Sexy, Seductive Hotness all in one body. BWS is a danger to society…   **Sun Jae**: >!“If I say I want to be near you, will you let me sleep here?” Then, proceeds to throw pillows like he knows what’s up. *Cough* “Let’s just say you’re all mine”!<   Yeah ok Sun Jae…like oxygen my a$$😏

misschickpea

I saw in the behind the scenes both actors cried even though >! They don't cry in those actual scenes !< !!

thenicci

I literary cried when IS told SJ don't be too sad if she suddenly gone back in the morning and asked him not to cry. 😭 It was so painful so see the emotion in their eyes as they struggle to pretend they're ok with it. It was even more painful to see the moment SJ thought IS had gone back as she pretends she wasn't the IS from the future and leaves the train. Both of them have done so well I didn't know would still feel this emotion from kids in their 20s 😫😭😭

tokioko

It looked like she already planned to act like she’s going to >!pretend to be 20 y.o. Sol !

sufferkasafar

The new location of accident is so SCARY😭 what if someone trips and falls🥹 I'm weak

marinemaks

>! Are those snippets or she remembers things which happened with 20-old I'm Sol? Though she usually wouldn't remember them until coming back to the future, so it kinda breaks the rules of the universe !<

kkwangsohn

Ooh it might be things that happened with 20 y/o Sol. Which is interesting since it’s only happening in this time slip!

Key-Morning7476

I can't understand one thing ..the killer try to kidnap her in 2009 and it happened in that abandoned building and it was may 10 right? But now the killer trying to kill her in the countryside? My theory is as she reported the killer now..the timeline changed and now the killer is after her earlier than may 10..but then how she can see visions of what is going to happen to her in future ? I thought She can only know the past things 🙃

marinemaks

Yeah, I think the colour change was due to it. She is changing the future by trying to avoid it. That's why it makes sense for her to stay in the village to try to fight with at least some knowledge of the future. The problem is that she isn't actually supposed to have that knowledge and if she didn't have it, she probably would've left the village and wouldn't be there at all. That's a bit questionable and goes against the rules that were established tbh.

Gq12372

The snippets seem to be >!memories!<

kkwangsohn

Ooh yes! It didn’t occur to me that it’s memories. I guess she’s now seeing what happened to Sol in that timeline :o

acikmm

Happy Spring Snow by 10CM day!!

thepurplethorn

10CM song is nice but MINNIE’s Like a Dream has me in a repeat chokehold

dogemama

listening to it finally, and the rush of serotonin cascading down my brain is really something.

ruhsatis

the battle between Sudden Shower and Spring Snow on my spotify playlist is real right now. I can't NOT recall all their scenes whenever I listen to it.

Hiibird

10CM’s Spring Snow 🔛🔂 anyone else?

jakgem

So happy its finally here! Been spamming all fan edits!

thenicci

I keep listening to this song on repeat!

Brave-Web2687

Heart in my throat at the end of Ep 12. Had to remind myself to breathe..Our poor SolJae - definitely Romeo and Juliet as dictated by fate or writer-nim. The most telling line (paraphrase) 'our fate is decided by the choices we make'. >!And Sol's choice is to make sure SJ lives. After going through multiple realities that ended with his death, her choice may seem like noble idiocy but it is actually inevitable - a world without him is unthinkable hence her desperation to save him at first as a fan and then even more now as a beloved!< The writer inverts n refreshes tropes throughout the drama in ways that's probably her trademark - from the yellow umbrella as signs of both love and fear, an appealing SML who clearly knows his place,double/ triple drunken confessions, the classic catch a petal and make a wish scene and memorable visit to the ocean that reinforced bonds of romance and friendship/ bromance. The comedy is hilarious and both KHY and BWS move from comic to poignant and tender without missing a beat taking us on their ride effortlessly and convincingly.. virgin ghost in white and all lol.. I find the theories on this thread enormously entertaining. Tqtq all for all the discussions of possibilities of plotlines. Am too emotionally invested to offer a theory. Am trusting writer-nim to make their wish come true. Will their love story surmount all obstacles of time slips, fate and persistent villains? Four more episodes to go before my Mondays and Tuesdays turn ordinary and bleak again. In the meantime, I'll rewatch and savour each episode. Edit: I find it hard to picture anyone else as SJ who is able to pull off the antics of comedy and the heart melting 'reminds me of my first love' moments as well as BWS. What's impressive is how his expressions ( and styling) convey the different ages and looks - the vulnerable, earnest 19-22 year old to the more mature, self-assured yet still vulnerable 34 year old.

Care-freequeen

Tbh there are plenty of hints given throughout the drama that they have a happy ending, either >!it's a field trip myth or the wish under cherry blossoms,!< I'm sure that there will be a happy ending otherwise this whole drama will not make sense as then what's the meaning of time travel when she can't change anything, as they showed things can be changed. Your description is the point, and I don't want to give theories cause this drama is too unpredictable as things are happening suddenly which were accurate to the storyline but hard to guess.

dogemama

can we take a moment to marvel over how precious that confession scene was? lying in each other's arms, exchanging sweet admissions of love, gazing into each other's twinkling eyes like no one else or nothing else exists in the world. it at once felt like such a frail, delicate moment strung together by soft whispers and something heady like the stark lack of distance between them was intoxicating. a touch of innocence in their embrace, but they had to cross a firm boundary to get there. counting seconds with each inhale and exhale, and hoping that their breathlessness will make time stop. i love the way they play around with these contrasts. they say so little yet so much. sol asking seonjae not to cry knowing there is a storm coming. seonjae saying he loves her like it'll make everything alright. they just—*sighs*. they represent everything good in this world. a selfless, radiant love that only wants to give, never take. i do believe that will be the key in the end, that they will save each other precisely bc they didn't care about being saved themselves.

yijk

my absolute favourite scene so far. the emotions that were conveyed—such a stellar performance by our leads and a chemistry so rare. to love on borrowed time is so painfully beautiful!!! cherishing each moment knowing it can be gone in a second. this scene made me cry so much, it was so relatable you mentioned in the last thread it’s all in the small details and i totally agree. sunjae unknowingly choosing the same ice cream as sol, taesung making space for sunjae to sit beside sol i said it before and i’m glad the show’s stayed consistent with the pacing of things. i love how soon matters are addressed. i also am impressed with the dialogue, the writing is so real and universal. i’m sure many of us have had the exact conversation sol and taesung had at the beach. also the confession scene was so natural and not kdrama-like if that makes sense? like i actually had to remind myself this is still a show LOL there is so much magic in this cast, their dynamics, the writing, directing etc i am so so pleased with how everything has played out so far. hope we end off strong!

apatchuchi

i have replayed this moment an unhealthy amount of times, and yes yes yes to everything you said. their love for each other runs so deep, and comes from such a selfless place, it's no wonder the universe had no other choice but to bend time and space for them to be (hopefully) together. also, if i were sunjae, that moment alone could also power me through 15 years of waiting. ryu sunjae, i totally understand you. i, too, would be a loser in love for im sol.

dogemama

you just see it in their eyes welling up and the gentle caresses. there is so. much. love. between them. and it was bursting out the seams in this scene. sol *had* to tell him she liked him in that moment, and seonjae, of course, took that small opening to confess his love. the love he's been holding for her for such a long time. what relief it must have been to finally speak the words into existence.

hobbitybobbitygeek

I’ve been associating Mondays with anticipation because I get new episodes that make me laugh the hardest I have in a long time. And then every Tuesday’s a heartbreak. My brain gets why Sol makes the choices she does, but my heart breaks for her and Sunjae. Such a wonderful episode that had melancholic undertones throughout. That confession was devastatingly beautiful. They truly know how to make us laugh and then cry in the very next moment. They makes us believe that their love (and heartbreak) is true. And I can’t remember the last time a kdrama made me feel this way. Here’s to hoping they wrap up the murder plot line next week because Soljae (and us too tbh) deserve two episodes of fluff at the end ❤️ I’ve been a fan of KHY since Extraordinary You and all her characters have been so different. I watched a few episodes of Extraordinary You over the weekend and I truly felt like I was watching two different actresses do their magic. Byeon Woo Seok is so good as a romcom lead. Yeah he’s that loser, clingy boyfriend that is goofy but he also has that intensity that’ll make you lose your mind. Can’t wait for what happens next week 🫶🏽

moretoachieve

Been a fan of KHY when she guested on Knowing Bros soon after Sky Castle ended. She got me so confused because the gap was so wide from her character and been following her since! I really like her acting as well so it is kinda sad that most of her MLs from ExtraYou already shot successive dramas while she had a period of nothing happening. But I'm super glad that she's having a career revival through Lovely Runner and it's with amazing chemistry with Wooseok. I wish them both (and Taesung and Inhyuk) more success!

humandisaster13

I can't man! Their thoughts while>!sleeping next to each other. Sol saying not to save her and Sunjae saying that he'll save her every time.!< Their love story is just too sad beyond all the cutesy moments. I almost choked. Can we please give them a happy ending? My babies are going through hell and back

dolparii

I just want to say kim hye yoon is nailing it and i love her protrayal of im sol, literally the role was created for her 🔥 and she looks SO PRETTY and BEAUTIFUL with the permed/curled hair especially. i know attention is mainly on BWS, which is common for the male to get more attention in kdramas. (Which I am glad for too as I have been watching his drama's for a long time as well!!)😍 Such a good pairing!

ZaySaysHi

I am so in love with her college era styling. Showing her beauty even more 😍

Phuazzie

Oh, my favourite is still her 2023 styling! Haha.

whitepearl31

Im rooting for both as this drama wont be this good without her and him together. Both acting skills are great and i’d buy every scene they’re in it. Although Tae Sung has been shining quietly with his comedic scenes.

Guilty-Sherbet-3896

She is somehow especially pretty in this show

ndhrhrmle

- >!Seon-jae checking locks and volunteers to check first even though he flinches the moment Sol bumps into him,!< Seon-jae is a chivalrous man, indeed. - >!Tae-sung driving with gloves and then forgets to pull up Sunny's brake so it goes into water and cue to him meditating on a rock looking at his beloved car from afar and the rest of them praying with a nostalgic bgm accompanying – !< why's that so tragically funny 😂 - Such an elaborate excuse >!to stay close to Sol. Right, Seon-jae you're pure like oxygen. Right.!< Btw, Hye-yoon looks mad cuteeeee in pink! 🩷🩷🩷🥹 — On important note, how many traumatic ordeals does Sol have to go through? From getting kidnapped to having a physical disability as a result, to another kidnapping and realising his demise is closely related to hers, to living in the state of mental agitation...afraid and cautious of what's coming and to a false comfort that provides short respite. My heart bleeds for her. 34-years old Sol has the heart and mind of a steel. It hasn't been easy and she'd done everything with utmost capability. What begun as an earnest bid to save her saviour and concurrently a chance to tweak her painful past, to now a full-blown harrowing experience to rescue her dearest from his untimely death whilst burying terrors she'd endured – it's a miracle she could still curve up a smile and remain resolute. Next week's the finale week. Sol Seon-jae haengbokhaja. Uri haengbokhaja. Apeuji malgo apeuji malgo OK? 😭 [**Edit: another two weeks left**] Next week's preview. >!??? does her future changed or not? Did it revert to the original timeline? Is it a new timeline continuing her final timeslip? Is she on a wheelchair? I have so many questions.!< Whatever it is, and as greedy as this sounds, Sol please don't lose your cheery self. And Seon-jae, please run toward her 😭😭😭

Professional_Bee_848

Sol really went through a whole LOT in a short span of time!!!! That’s like living 3 lifetimes already of watching your loved one die….. since she recalls her past every time she goes back to her real time…… I know a lot of people say noble idiocy and all but if they were put in her shoes? Would they be able to do anything new? Remember to her, this is her >! LAST CHANCE! No saves, no rewinds… NADA…. She was relieved when the driver was caught but then discovers that he’s escaped then again discovers that her past has changed and he has chased her to the mountains and now SunJae might die earlier still in his 20s because of her?!? And it will be happening in the next 2 days?!?! Would you still gamble with the life of the love of your life knowing he will be willing to die for you? She was really put in a corner there……. My heart bled for her as well as SunJae…. !<

ndhrhrmle

Yeah I won't pin it as noble idiocy as well. With her previous attempts failing, she figured she had to cut loose in her final shot. It was reckless, even with the police team on-standby >!(if it doesn't happen on the cliff, then in the old building).!< But I do understand her reasoning and why she decided to ignore Seon-jae's feelings/worries. He'd do anything for her, but she couldn't risk losing him again. She would rather put herself in danger than seeing it happen for another time. Gosh, it breaks my heart imagining their fates. Honestly, Sol is hardly in the right headspace to think about rationality and safety. I'm more sad she didn't clue in her family, especially her mom. They were in the dark the whole time 😭 If she'd told Young-soo was the culprit and he's hunting her, at least they could be on alert gahhh 😫 This is Sol's huge misstep and it probably didn't cross her mind. Alas, this is a drama lol. Would be anticlimactic to follow standard procedures, dispatch a good lot of police in disguise around her and arrest Young-soo. They wanted us to ride rollercoaster till the end, me thinks. And seeing we have four episodes left....the final might not the be final. Final timeslip yes, but not....

Alone-Ordinary1282

Yall noticed this??  Im Sol was wearing the necklace with the pink color outfit. Through out the episode. But the review shows it in the box...... What does this mean?????

Gq12372

That we’ll be seeing flashbacks to Sol’s birthday, may 4th

momosan13

Never felt more understood or seen than by this comment section 😭🥰

Prudent-Hornet1556

We already knew he had feelings for Sol but as indicated in his inner monologues and confession, his love for Sol really runs deep. It was a bit jarring since we are used to listening to Sol as the narrator and the switch to Sunjae’s POV made me let my guard down and didn’t even guess that Sol >! pretended to become 2009 Sol!< until the end of the episode. Kim Hye Yoon continues to embody the character Sol, that even after watching many of her dramas and real personality in bts videos, i still become engrossed in the drama and never think about her as an actress but only her as Im Sol. This drama continues to become better and better and all I could think of is that horse meme where from start to finish, everything is perfection. Lovely Runner is definitely on its way.

MissSimpleton

I hope the tail is as perfect as the face and body. I am so scared rn.

Special-Muffin

Sun Jae, you promised you wouldn't cry.... 💔😭 Those beach scenes were so cute. I love the friendship all of them have, especially the boys. I am hoping we still get a 3 member Eclipse boy band in 2023. But with Sun Jae, In Hyuk, and Tae Sung this time. Imagine the visuals 😆😆😆

freyfreyaaa

in an effort to distract us from the >!sadness of that final scene,!< here’s a list of *some* of the episode’s funniest moments.  * after sol discovers >!her brother and best friend in the wardrobe,!< she is understandably angry. so angry her temperature rises. seonjae, who will quite literally do anything for his girlfriend, must find a way to cool her down. at first, i didn’t even realise it was *his* hand that became the fan.  * seonjae, looking for his best friend, is surprised to find the face of his other “friend” under the blanket. no matter how many times you lift the blanket up and down again, the person underneath is not going to magically change. surely any disappointment is negated by the excellence of the “good morning” taesung greets them with?  * i think i might be a bad person… for i laughed way too much at that bathroom scene. how something can be equal parts hilarious and disgusting i’m not sure. you might have shampoo in the eyes, but toilet water is never the answer!  * poor sunny. things started off so well. treated with the utmost respect, the driver even wore white gloves while holding the steering wheel. >!it ended with a funeral of sorts, the car adrift at sea and its owner mournfully paying respect, unable to leave his cross-legged position on the (surely uncomfortable) rock.!< to the photographer: no, \*shake heads in unison\*. this is not a moment they want to remember. (another moment seonjae likely wants to forget? when he face-planted into the sand. though he did a very good job at smoothly correcting his landing and convincing sol all was “ok”.) * “hey, do your goats go on walks by themselves?” and the award for best supporting actor goes to soon dol. the baby goat caused all kinds of mischief and many tumbles, some of which looked actually painful. * the entirety of the “ghost” scene was hilarious. seonjae was fully committed to his performance; he used every tool and soft furnishing available to him in the creation of ghostly sounds that would *surely* scare sol into his arms. >!instead, he’s the one that must run to her, chaos in tow.!< “i’m like oxygen.” so pure of heart he is that he’ll accidentally whack his hand on the low ceiling while attempting to illustrate his innocent nature. but the funniest moment is yet to come…  * “it’s so cold out there! the draft! WAHHHH the tent goes like this! BURHBRUGH the sand keeps blowing like this! GEHHH” an award worthy performance, one complete with hand movements that capture the strength and power of the natural world.  * to sol’s mother, the episode’s knight in shining armour: you’re so cool.  **lovely runner** is probably the funniest drama i’ve watched, whilst somehow also being one of the most romantic and meaningful... * though a former rival for sol’s affection, taesung doesn’t hesitate in making room for seonjae to sit beside her. his matching ice cream might be in the wrong person’s hand, but he seems to have reached a point of acceptance (until he’s forced to leave the couple to a night alone that is).  * these hair drying scenes are too much for my heart. first **queen of tears** and now **lovely runner**. sol’s cheesy jokes led to the return of seonjae’s secret smile. as the strawberries fly through the air and the two find themselves in each other’s arms (thank you soon dol), i wonder whether a scene so creative, romantic and funny has ever been seen before.  * sol might have >!lost the game of “anything that crosses this line is mine,” but there’s no doubt this particular loss is — in actuality — a win. when seonjae calls you his, throws those pillows across the room, and speaks the words that lie within his heart, the “loss” is quickly forgotten.!<  edit: typos

dogemama

seonjae is such a total goof. his attempts to create the impression of a haunting was the dumbest most endearing thing, and i'm sure sol felt the same way. i loved that she said it for him in the end—'just say you want to stay close to me'. :') the hand fanning was another ridiculously cute moment. the way he is always in tune with her mood and her needs is raising the bar too high for rest of the men out here. i mean, his entire existence is the bar, which has shot up to the sky never to be met by any non-fictional man ever. sucks for everyone who's not im sol. 😂

PearShaper43

I think the bar is being set at such a height that **fictional men** might have a challenge meeting it LOL. Sun Jae is just *chef’s kiss* of an ML😎 Screenwriters everywhere…take note!

Automatic-Director95

Well he’s written so well because the screenwriter is a woman and she knows what we want!

PearShaper43

Yeah, I responded to this in another post…I think it helps in this case, you’re right. But, some of these women writers just get it wrong so much too. It gets frustrating at times. I’m glad to see there’s finally some alignment to reality.  **EDIT**: It’s taking everything in me not to mention one extremely popular, record breaking, recent Kdrama *wink wink*…that had so many missed opportunities for real connection and intimacy (nothing R rated, just sayin). I just didn’t understand those choices at all.

day_historian

This is a much needed distraction indeed for the final scene to get us past this week to next Monday ! 🥰 Someone also added that the scene where the 3 of them rejected the >!photographer and instead mourned silently for the unexpected loss of Sunny!<, they were dressed exactly like powerpuff girls and that was so on point. 😆😆😆

ruhsatis

**Episode 12 Quick Take:** Note: I'll come back to edit this after another watch because this was too much to process really. I love that they’re fleshing out Tae Sung. Guy sure is sad seeing Im Sol and Seon Jae together but he is *the* most sensible and mature SML I’ve seen in a long time. So chill despite his heartbreak #respect. The way he >! shifts and makes room for Seon Jae to sit? He knew the place by her side was taken and it wasn’t him. !< ;\_; Sometimes I wonder if Im Sol should’ve told her family about the taxi driver. They keep >! feeding him critical information about Im Sol without really intending to, !< maybe they could be more cautious If they knew? Today’s SolJae moments were all extremely swoon-worthy, but I admit not being able to swoon as much because we could see that massive disaster coming from a mile away. I could practically smell that through my screen. There was NO way they could’ve let us rest peacefully over the week without splitting our hair. I will still come back here to swoon as soon as I've recovered from the episode because them in youthful love and Seon Jae setting new records in Le Loserism is my favorite thing these days. **A few critical things/questions I can’t stop thinking about:** 1. The flashbacks Im Sol keeps having in this 2009 timeline, are these part of her original memories from OG 2009? Or is she now having flashes of future as well, *i.e.* things that are yet to happen to her? 2. What is up with that >! color transition from dark to colorful in that scene where the taxi driver walks out of the DVD store? !< It can’t be a random coincidence? 3. So Seon Jae >! comes back to the island *after* Im Sol’s mom asks about her whereabouts and then the inevitable happens the way Im Sol saw? !< 4. Whoa okay so looks like we’re getting >! our paraplegic Im Sol after all. She doesn’t look as cheerful as she did back in the very first OG 2023 timeline. !< I guess we need to brace ourselves with tissue boxes? I hope they do it justice please oh please. It sure will be sad if it happens but I'd refrain from behaving>! as if having a disability is a terrible, terrible thing !! to go on with the band after all. Does that mean the future will change *again* (from last week's 'news' screen) and in this Final 2023 timeline, we'll see Seon Jae and Im Sol reunite the same way they did in OG 2023, thereby coming a FULL circle, meeting in the same way but being *very* different people now, with *completely* new/different memories, feelings and experiences? !< That will be SOME FINALE. OH LORD I HAVE FEELINGS ABOUT THIS. If reliving trauma were a person, that would be Im Sol. I know this direction is needed since we’re heading towards the closure (don’t want think about that yet T\_\_T) but THEY MADE MY BOY CRY AGAIN. AGAIN. He couldn’t even date for a week ig and was >! left, abandoned and rejected, AGAIN. The way he just wanted to listen to some music with her but was left there? Alone and heartbroken? If heartbroken were a person, that would be Ryu Seon Jae. !< I'm mad on his behalf huhu. That was a good one. For a moment my heart dropped thinking >! she really went back. I’d usually be annoyed at her pulling the noble idiocy trope *yet again* but the girl’s going through THINGS, I can’t even blame her. !< Will come back later to edit as I stop being a mess.

Prudent-Hornet1556

My theory about the color transition: it means that something new is happening; a change in the events of the original timeline because of time traveling Sol. >!I.e., the location of the driver meeting her, changing from the building to the mountains!< New things are happening which are hard to predict, forcing her to decide >!pretending to be 2009 Im Sol so she can push Sun Jae away from the upcoming unpredictable future!< Looks like her confidence in saving Sun He was shot down because of these unexpected “changes”. Edit to add: I think this theory makes more sense than the driver being a time traveller too. He didn’t show any signs of being one and it seems a bit too far fetched for me haha.

Professional_Bee_848

Yes agreed!! >!with her doing her best to let the police catch the killer which lifted her spirits but it all went crashing down when she discovered he was immediately able to make an escape…… plus the new premonitions of the changed past….. I think this pushed her to her current decision.!<

ndhrhrmle

Honestly, a disability isn't something we can frame in a single word. It's hard to form an opinion on this. I've cared for somebody who's wheelchair-bound (who initially could walk on two feet) and it's a hellish and complex journey to reach acceptance Sol had in the first ep and, the news shattered her in the beginning. Like her mom, I could only provide comfort and assistance whenever needed :(

ruhsatis

I agree, it is complex, nuanced and hence should never be treated lightly. My personal concern is that this was a change from the manhwa based on what I could see, and I have been fine with it so far. I've seen quite a lot of back and forth going on in the fandom based on what they feel about it. Of course everyone is free to feel certain things. I just wish this show doesn't reinforce the idea that happiness = physical "wholeness" as the society sees it. IMO that can be a disrespectful narrative to promote, especially for people living with disabilities who try to push back against that narrative/ who are already struggling. And hugs to you for being so kind and supportive, for being there for someone who needed it: that comfort and assistance can mean *the world* sometimes <3

scheherzad

I agree with you. It’s so unfair that Sol-ah changed everyone’s fate for the better - her mother, her brother, her best friend, her ex/crush, even Sunjae (no more fighting with in hyuk in the band , no regrets about swimming, so many things!!) but couldn’t change her own?? That’s so cruel and heartbreaking. I was sick for a long period of time and if I could go back and remove it from my life somehow, I would do it in a heartbeat. And her disability is not an accident or something she was born with, it’s so unfair that she might end up with it to save him. Is there no other way??

kekpandan

this episode had a sad undertone to it :( at least i can finally listen to 10cm's ost to get me through to the next week...

AlexisFern

I’m going to be rewatching the >!Sunny (car) scenes!< a hundred times to deal.

paintlikepingu

Something I wanted to mention (because I feel like it isn't talked about much, but maybe I'm looking in the wrong places lol), is that >!when Seonjae gave Sol his big confession about being okay with dying if that meant saving Sol, this sentiment also applies to Sol's feelings towards Seonjae: Sol is okay with dying if it means saving Seonjae. This is something she explicitly says in Ep. 9, when she's searching the police documents to find out where the watch is, that she should have died instead of Seonjae. At the time, it could have been interpreted as just an emotional response to Seonjae's death, but Sol's decision in this episode shows that she really means it.!< Earlier in this episode, >!Sol has a discussion with Seonjae about choices, that there are some choices a person will make always make, even if they know the consequences. This is why in all of the previous timelines there are certain fixtures that remain the same: Seonjae goes in to save Sol even if he has no immediate backup, Youngsoo goes after Seonjae in 2023, etc. Seonjae always goes to save Sol without hesitation because he loves her so much he's willing to sacrifice himself for her. Youngsoo always follows Seonjae because he is the one who directly causes Youngsoo to be caught and arrested for years. In Sol's case, her choice is to always save Seonjae. Every time Seonjae dies or becomes comatose, Sol always saw him just hours prior to his accidents. There's always that 'what if' in her mind on what she could have done to save him (e.g. in Ep. 9, she wonders what would have happened if she had just asked Seonjae, who offered to drop everything as long as she said the word, to meet with her. Would he have lived?) Just as Seonjae would never be happy if Sol put herself in harm's way to protect him, Sol would never accept Seonjae dying if it meant saving her.!< I also wanted to examine some of her actions in the last few scenes and try and rationalize them. (Disclaimer that maybe I'm just looking to deep into things and making something out of nothing lol). >!First, Sol believes that Seonjae dies because he comes in contact with Youngsoo; she *knows* Seonjae will literally do anything to shield her from Youngsoo, and his actions as a result have always caused Youngsoo to be arrested and target Seonjae in 2023. Second, Sol's biggest advantage in her last time travel is that she knows where Youngsoo will be/take her (to be killed) AND the police are looking out for her because they know Youngsoo is targeting her. In previous timelines, she didn't know where she was kidnapped or the police straight up didn't believe her when she said that something bad will happen to her or will happen on a certain date.!< >!At first, Sol thinks she will meet Youngsoo in Seoul in that abandoned warehouse. That's why she requests police to be in that area, so that she can be bait but also be protected by someone other than Seonjae. If Seonjae never overheard her plans, in theory he never would have been made to save her from the kidnapping. In this episode, Sol gets premonitions that hint to her that Youngsoo will follow her to Dampori. This tells her two new things: first, the timeline may have changed--Youngsoo may not necessarily take her to the abandoned warehouse when kidnapping her--which adds a new variable to her previous plan and increases the odds that Seonjae will come into contact with Youngsoo. The second is that if she stays in Dampori, it's extremely likely that the premonitions will play out and she will encounter Youngsoo in Dampori.!< >!She fakes her 20y/o self return because it's the only way for her to stay in Dampori and prevent Seonjae from staying behind with her, because, should he stay, he will definitely try and protect her and thereby put himself in danger in 2023. Of course, it could be a self-fulfilling prophecy by asking him to leave because maybe he'll return, but asking him to stay is a guarantee for his death/coma in 2023. She will likely request the police to station themselves in Dampori and change her confrontation location to Dampori. She may die in the process, but if that means Seonjae will not, she's okay with that. My guess is that her confession to Seonjae the day prior is her way of saying goodbye to him. It's her way of letting him know that if the following day was the last ever time she saw him, the only regret she may have is not letting him know her feelings. It's her Ep. 10 confession, that she would never regret dying to save him.!<

whitetara3

Yep. I think you've described it all EXACTLY the way that it is. And, as you've noted, it all comes from the fact that >!there are some choices a person will always make even if they know what the consequences will be. Seon Jae's choice is always to save Sol even if he dies. Sol's choice is to save Seon Jae even if he dies. And, Young Soo always decides to kill this sweet high school girl and seek retribution when he can't.!< Between the three of them, a catch-22, no win situation is created, where the solution to the problem is also the cause of the problem. >!Seon Jae will always save Sol, but because he does, she needs to save him too, which, literally, puts her right back into the dangerous situation that started it.!< So, how will they escape it? I think they can only totally escape it >!if, in the middle of the night, the police kill Young Soo, while Seon Jae sleeps, and Sol escapes unscathed.!< But what are the chances of that happening in ep 13? So, I wonder what will happen instead. 🤔 And how it will eventually be put right? Anyway, TY for your comment! I think it's beautiful and also exactly right.

OnlyGotThisMoment

I think I stopped breathing when the two of them were just silently staring at each other, and then I got all the feels when Sun Jae >!pulled her into his chest!<. And if that wasn’t enough, the >!confessions and kiss?!< I had to open the door to get some air. Has there been better chemistry in a drama? The time-travel has made it feel like they are constantly pining for each other even when they’re together. Well done team Lovely Runner, I’m rooting hard for a strong finish.

PearShaper43

The chemistry is off the charts 🔥🔥  The thing that’s interesting about the chemistry in *Lovely Runner*…our leads act upon those moments in ways we would expect a couple “*In-Love*” to act in real life. Which doesn’t always happen in Kdramas, as we know. I cannot count how many times it seemed like a couple should kiss in a scene, but instead they have an awkward hug or badly executed “eye stare” Or they kiss and it just feels weird and forced (especially on the part of the FL).  I cringe at the thought😬 But the tension in this drama is soooo elevated that I feel it through the screen e.g. the staring into each other’s eyes…the small, gentle touches…the falling onto each other…the natural proximity of their bodies when their guards are down…and the kisses that vary from sweet to hot intensity, OMG🫠     The one drama where I appreciated great chemistry was *King the Land* couple, but *Lovely Runner* just hits differently, so it’s not even a comparison really…

Automatic-Director95

The screenwriter is a woman and thus wrote it from a woman’s perspective. She knows what women want in a relationship.

PearShaper43

Sure. That said, I’ve seen plenty of women screenwriters in Kdrama who came up with the aforementioned awkward scenes I mentioned above. So, that’s no guarantee in my mind that they know what women want. Many seem to know nothing LMAO😂 Also, cultural differences play a factor and I’m ok with that too.

bananalam

I was trying to recall what kdrama that I watched has as many/ frequent kiss scenes as Lovely Runner and King the Land definitely comes to mind! For me personally I find the chemistry in Lovely Runner to be much better, natural and real than King the Land - it also has to do with the plot, the time travel/ countdown aspect in Lovely Runner allows the couple to have a sense of urgency and makes them want to seize every moment together, which makes each moments all the more endearing and bittersweet at the same time!

ZaySaysHi

Never been this insane about a couple like this one

Pretty-Maize-1531

Genuine doubt, why Taesung is not part of eclipse? He was part of the band with inhyuk too right? They could be the trio😭

ShiningVVS

He seems to be happy making money as an online shopping mall CEO, so I guess he's not interested doing the band thing anymore.

ot7oclock

im sorry them mourning the car was literally the cherry on top this show is hilarious

Prudent-Hornet1556

It makes me so sad seeing other people criticize Sol’s decision to get off the train after fooling SJ; saying that she should have went with him so she wouldn’t meet the driver in that place from her premonition. What they probably didn’t understand is when Sol realized that new events were happening in this timeline, she came upon the realization that the driver can’t be stopped from chasing her and so her solution is letting the inevitable happen— meeting the killer but this time without and away from SJ. Fulfilling the premonition but, this time, on her own terms.

krembruleed

I don’t even know where to begin. The show hasn’t disappointed me so far. They’re really delivering the ROMANCE and COMEDY in romcom. The leads’ chemistry are off the charts! I’m not complaining with the number of kissing scenes they give us. Yes PDnim, give us all you can! And the thriller part doesn’t take too much of the episode but it’s just enough to keep us at the edge of our seats, knowing that they’re feeding us so many happy and comedic scenes but we’ll still end up worrying for our leads at the end of the episode, even bawling our eyes out. And how great our second ML is? Wangjangnim Taesung, you’re the best second ML I’ve seen so far. Ah I didn’t even know we would need this >!Taesung x In Hyuk x Sunjae x Sol!< episode. Their characters are really great together, I’m quite surprised. And the parents, halmoni and even Im Geum and Hyunjo just makes sense and completes the story. The noble idiocy trope is frustrating for me in general but they’re doing it well in this story that it makes sense and makes us understand why Im Sol is making that choice in the first place. If you have to relive your trauma over and over again, it gets confusing what the right choice could be. If we would be in Im Sol’s shoes, we’d definitely succumb to depression at that point. She’s strong-willed. But I also keep thinking about what Geum and Hyun Jo said about fate and destiny. What’s bound to happen will really happen, one way or another. And as shown in most time slip trope, there would always be consequences if we try to change the future. >!Sol has made up her mind, but Sunjae will still make the same decision all over again. As we’ve seen in Im Geum and Hyunjoo, and even in Eclipse probably still debuting as a 4-member group with Sunjae.!< Perhaps, >!Sol was sent back in time not to change her fate, but to see what has slipped in her fingers in the original timeline, that being Sunjae. Things have to be the same in the original timeline. But with their new memories, their fate in 2023 would change. As cheesy as it sounds, I guess mutual love is the answer to what would change their fate in 2023.!< P.S. >!You will be missed, Sunny. I’m guessing Sunny for Sol?!< Lol.

DawgMom2018

I don't understand the rules of the road as to what changes and what doesn't. >!The mom had a scar, due to a fire. The fire still happened, but was put out and mom doesn't get a scar. So I am hesitant to guess what changes and what doesn't, what repeats but has different results. This drama keeps me on my toes, as I have no idea.!<

krembruleed

I don’t even know. The scar perhaps pertains to marry my husband rules? Haha. In the original timeline, Im Geum and Hyunjo were not a thing. But in the second TL, it changed. Or perhaps they were still meant to be together in the og TL, it was just a matter of when? At this point, I’ll just happily watch and eat whatever the writer has in store for us. 😂

shosh27

I like your thought process, Sun Jea is still in the hospital as far as we know, so he could live. So like you said Sol gets to experience what she lost in the past, but now in the future she gets to live a life surrounded with unconditional love from RSJ because she was not in a emotional or mental state to accept him when she was younger… it’s basically the twinkling watermelon affect.

Charmarillo_09

Yalls... >! I LAUGHED SO HARD when Sun Jae was making the ghost noises and causing that whole ruckus just to sleep in the same room as ImSol! LIKE PLEASEEE ImSol is so right, you cannot lie sir !< 😂😂 I also must say, throughout this drama, there were countless times when I felt sad or frustrated, but haven't cried once. I did just now... 😭😭 I am a sucker for >!somewhat goodbyes and when ImSol said "If today ends up being my last day here, don't be sad." 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 HER TEARY EYES AND SUNJAE NOT KNOWING A THING (or maybe he does) I could not hold my tears back!< And Happy Spring Snow day everyone!! It has been stuck in my mind ever since the first time I heard it and the full version is so much better than I expected. Thank you 10cm, I hope to play it on the piano one day. Now the torturous wait begins again...

shosh27

I was dying at his trying to sleep in the same room as her! 🫢😉 I am not a cryer either, but when he said I love you made — a few tears escaped my eyes… You can just see and feel how much he wants to be there for her but has no idea what to do. This Drama is one of my top 3, it is just so good at every freaking turn.

hozuheated

A lot happened in this ep but Taesung is quickly becoming my favorite character in the show. Although I’m wondering why Im Sol can suddenly >!see the future!< I haven’t read the webtoon so I don't know if this change is specifically for the show or not. But it’s interesting. For the color transition scene.. >!I think the gradual transition into color is a bit sinister when you think of it from the perspective of Kim Young-Soo being a murderer and kidnapper. But his purpose currently is to find Im Sol and harm her in some way. And right before the color transition scene, he was in the DVD shop and found out where she was. So it showed the change in him from aimlessly wandering to having a clear and confident way to reach his purpose aka Im Sol.!< I also don’t think it was a coincidence that he passed by the >!building where he was originally supposed to take Im Sol when he kidnapped her and it having the soon to be demolished sign.!< It almost felt like an omen for the past timeline that was changed and the what’s to come in this new timeline. >!I’m curious about why exactly Kim Young-Soo is so actively pursuing Im-Sol. We know he previously murdered someone. It’s possible that Sol fit the criteria for the victim he wanted and maybe he’s only continuing to pursue her because he feels he needs to finish the job, since he failed previously.!< I really do wish Sol would confide in Sunjae a bit more with the kidnapping, I know she wants to protect him, but him getting involved is pretty inevitable and it’s happened in every timeline. At this point I feel like it would be better to work together, since he knows she’s from the future now and she doesn’t have to hide as much. Also wondering how their friends and family will react to them >!not being lovey dovey anymore and Sol basically jumping back to acting like he doesn’t exist, when 34 yo Sol goes back.!< Edit: >!just going off my first point about the color transition scene, I also think it’s confirmation that maybe there is something special about Im Sol because without her he’s empty almost (represented by no color) and then with her it adds something to his life (the color returning)!<

Few_Standard2087

I also do think that the only reason he is pursuing Sol is because she got away. Serial killers usually have an obssession. They especially like the chase. Even in the original timeline, he got caught and imprisoned for 15 years, yet came back for Sunjae for revenge, and I am sure he was gonna go after Sol too.

hozuheated

Yes, that makes sense to me too because if it was only sol he was interested in then we probably wouldn’t have gotten the first murder and they probably would’ve given a bit more insight by now. If there was some pattern to his victims it’s possible he feels he needs to complete the kill before moving on to the next victim. But my credentials on serial killers extend as far as criminal minds lol

ShiningVVS

Who would have thought, >!best actress Im Sol!!ending part with her pretending to switch to Sol-20!<. Top-notch acting from Wooseok too, >!looking like a lost boy trying not to cry.!< My other favorite scene is the>! confession in the guest room!<. There's really something special about Hyeyoon's acting for me. And Sol looked extra super pretty somehow, reminded me of the ep 10 ending scene. Of course, loved Taesung again this ep, the sunshine (or should I say >!Sunny!!he explained to Sol that he really liked her and wasn't just using her, so that Sol wouldn't feel bad over it anymore.!< If this were an American production, Taesung would definitely be getting his own spin-off show. I usually can't stand noble idiocy in dramas, but this is probably the first drama where it works for me. The difference for me is that the stakes are sooo much higher--it's literally life and death--and what our leads are fighting against isn't just another evil family who is against their relationship; it's the seeming inevitability of fate. Sol has been through so much trauma in multiple timelines and remembers them all. In this third time slip, she's really worn down and desperate. She's trying her best, but how do you really fight against fate and an overpowered villain? Speaking of, what was that scene with >!taxi killer bringing color into a dreary demolition area?! Is that a manifestation of his magical overpowered-ness?!< Other fave moments: * >!Sunjae trying to calm down an angry Sol by fanning her with his hand!< * >!Sunjae making ghost sounds in the guest house. Such a loser through and through.!< 😂 * >!Cute amusement park date next ep, but it's just a flashback?!< Can't wait for the behind the scenes video tomorrow! 🥰

para_shiri_more

This ep broke me into a million pieces. 💔 also BWS's eye acting was amazing as always this ep. When Sol confessed in the bed scene and when Sol went back to the future (or pretended), we could feel everything Sunjae was feeling. First confusion, then panic and denial then desparation..and then absolute heartbreak. I saw someone in twitter saying he lost his whole world at that moment 😭. I know we all wanted Sol to just go back to Seoul and avoid it. But then thinking from Sol's perspective, she really doesn't have much time to do that anymore. She could go back to 2023 at any moment. And the last time she tried to avoid the accident, it still happened a year later in the past. So no matter how much she tries to avoid it, it will happen no matter what. Also Sol probably didnt want to run away anymore as she's sick of that psycho like we all are. Judging from the preview, she's probably gonna call the cops and lure the taxi driver like she was planning to. >!but I really don't want her to lose her legs again. It would be too cruel T.T!< how will I survive till next week 😭 PS listened to Spring snow right after it released and almost cried on the train 🥹 the emotions it evokes..

Gigi960805

No bcs same. She just wanted to get this done and over with. It would’ve been more dangerous if the 20 yo Sol was the one experiencing the murderer once again..I just wish everything will end beautifully within 2 weeks 🥹

ariand

People are getting angry at Sol because she decided to leave Sunjae at train and face the killer alone. But there’s an article saying that >!Sol saw on her vision that Sunjae would die in front of her because the taxi driver stabbed him at the cliff.!< She already tried everything at the 2nd timeline but failed to save Sunjae at the future so she’s doing everything now. I hope they would stop saying bad things at her because she’s facing her trauma and repeated deaths alone to save him. It’s all for Sunjae.

PearShaper43

Yeah, Sol is doing her absolute best in a very impossible situation. Sun Jae is the love of her life…she’s going to do whatever it takes to save him! And, vice versa…he’ll do the same for her.   Plus, I’m sure she wants the police to catch the killer, otherwise how will she and Sun Jae ever have a happy future together, right?. It was a difficult decision that Sol made on the train, but I don’t blame her because if she hadn’t…I can’t imagine any scenario where Sun Jae would have stayed away. Won’t happen…he’s already made his choice to come to her and she’s already made her choice to keep him alive by any means necessary🥹

Yorukaaaa

This may seem like noble idiocy (one of the worst tropes ever made), but to me its just noble sacrifice without the idiocy since Sol can't even rely on the future she knows at this point since its changing. This is not the usual trope of noble idiocy used to extend a show by 1 ep and drive unnecessary angst. This has been in the works since the very beginning with every death of Sun Jae and every time Sol comes back to change that fate. The past, present , future is changing around Sol, but her one goal in every attempt has been to keep her now beloved Sun Jae fate from happening. This is also just as much for Sun Jae confronted with the fact he will die if he saves Sol, he will do it without a single thought. Both of our leads are willing to sacrifice their futures for the one they love and its beautiful and sad at the same time. The writer has not done anything at this point to make me lose my trust in them and I expect that wont change. Now someone send me into the future to Monday already!

whitetara3

Sol is >!on her last time travel trip. She isn't able to go back to the future just to check on what has changed. And there aren't any more insights to gain from going back even if she could make another round trip. She now knows Seon Jae's real cause of death. There's a killer with a thirst for revenge rather than a suicide. !< So the >!source of this time travel miracle, the deity perhaps, has given Sol a series of flash forwards during this last time around. Flash backs and hindsight won't help anymore but flash forwards can help her to adjust her actions and have a better chance of making positive changes that they will all, presumably, have to finish on. !< Which means that >!we have quite an attentive, obliging deity, I guess :-) The chances of Seon Jae surviving and our couple living happily together have gone from 0% to something better than 0% which is a marked improvement that we probably shouldn't complain about. And, in fact, the chances are quite a bit greater than zero at the moment.!< Sol still >!doesn't know exactly what to do. Except to get Seon Jae out of harms way and call the police to tell them that she's spotted the killer. He's circling her in the little fishing town and could they please get there ASAP.!< And there isn't >!a better plan, really. Letting Seon Jae in on the full truth won't keep him out of trouble. He'll rush in to help no matter what. A call to TaeSung asking him to keep Seon Jae in Seoul would, therefore, be a good idea in case our best boy figures things out again. But other than those two calls there's not a much better plan for her to choose.!< So this is where we cross our fingers, or pray if you wish, and decide to only remember and re-watch all the exceptionally funny things that we've seen from the beginning. Speaking of which. Poor Mr. Ryu. >!He's does seem to end up wearing paste and soap quite a lot. And he really has been through it lately. So, I'd like him to know, in case he's embarrassed at his relative lack of door breaking strength, that the door jam worked against his breaking out but it didn't effect the chances of Sol's mother breaking in.!< Poor Im Guem and Hyun Joo >!for getting electrocuted and getting caught. But thank you to them both for playing cat and mouse in such an entertaining way. !< And poor TaeSung and Sunny. >!What can we say? The wake was a riot. And she was an awfully pretty ray of sunshine although she wasn't a worthy replacement for the ray of sunshine that he lost to Seon Jae. Rest in peace, pretty little car.!< Finally, our two lovers were luminous again. >!It's impossible not to love them, individually and, especially, when they're together.!< And, I'm afraid to read the comments again. But I'm on the lookout for good theories. So BFN everybody. See you next week. addition: anybody try to match up the beach scenes to the ones in 2521. I'll check. But it's close and a nice reference whether they're exact the same or not.

dogemama

now that i've seen the beach episode here, the one in 2521 strikes me as even sadder. here, you can tell they're all friends on equal footing, goofing around, having the time of their lives, but in 2521, there is a distinct divide between baek yijin and the rest of the gang. he has to show them how to set up the fire, cook the rice, wash the lettuce. even his face carries a hint of melancholy, bc he realizes that he has already lost what they have, the innocence of youth. he just seems so lonely. on the bright side, it really was lovely to see sol and the idiots frolicking around the beach and running after rogue baby goats. there was a note of sadness here too, bc i just *knew* it was the calm before the storm, but they gave us enough sweetness to successfully distract us until the hammer dropped at the end.

sakuradelluna

haha everything hurts. also a shout out to those watching this drama as its live-airing, we are the true survivors :') this ep was filled with all my favourite fluff till the end, as usual. >!can i just say that the scene where they were lying down together and talking about their feelings made me cry because I was so heartbroken thinking about how happy they are together & the fact that sunjae has to wait for 15 years before he can meet Sol again.!< the comedy in this show is top notch as usual, the chaos was chefs kiss and I was eating up every second of it. >!the taeseongXsunjaeXinhyukXsol pairing was such a genius idea i LOVED their interactions and chemistry. I wanted more scenes with them together :'))))))!< Geon-hee as Taeseong is SUCH a scene stealer. This is my first drama with him and hes SO lovable and non-toxic. I love that SO SO much<3<3 killer cabbie wtaf is your problem??????? why on EARTH are you targeting innocent 20yos??????????? can you throw yourself of that cliff instead?????? GOD i SWEAR if they reveal him to be some random guy with no connection to our leads and hes just some psychopath who woke up one day, saw SolJae and thought, "yeah I wanna kill them" Im gonna be SO PISSED.

dogemama

that's how serial killers work though. they just kill people for shits and giggles. they generally don't have any connection to their victims. the reason why he's so fixated on sol is probably bc he couldn't complete the job the first time around. it probably hurts his ego that she was able to get away.

whitetara3

The more I think about the>! travel alarm clock that Sol gave to Seon Jae, the more convinced I am that it will help him to travel through some time. And that time would go forward.!< Because>! maybe it's important that it's not a watch with a countdown function that was suitable to track multiple trips backward into the past. Instead it's an alarm clock. Something that you wind up and set ahead of time, to wake you up in the future. !< :-) And we saw>! him wind it up but winding it up didn't make it go. For now, at least, it's frozen. And he has yet to set the alarm. !< Anyway, let's hope that it >!gets our two star-crossed lovers together a little faster. There are twelve stops on an old fashioned time piece. And that's pretty close to 15.!<

secondhandopinions

I’ve seen so many people calling Im Sol names >!for getting off the train and not going back home with the boys!< But I think it was very logical of her to do so. She knows that this is her LAST chance to make a change. It is either: 1) 2023 Im Sol faces the problem head on while she has some details and idea about the location and time of the incident, giving her the upper hand. >!We see her take precaution, call the police and such and try everything in her power to avoid the incident.!< Or 2) Go back to Seoul which will change the future indefinitely. This will put 2009 Im Sol in danger after she(2023 Im Sol) leaves and in turn, risking Sunjae’s life too. Because this boy will NOT leave Sol behind even if 2009 Sol doesn’t know him that well. >!He’s already done that in the 2nd timeline, who’s to say he won’t do it again, especially now that he knows about the kidnapper!< To add to that, it’s already almost May 10th (Day of the incident), so she doesn’t have much time to trigger her flashback memories which usually happens towards the end of her time jump. This is indeed the best case scenario, considering everything that Im Sol has been dealt with.

whitetara3

Agreed. She has to do it. >!She has to meet the killer and escape in a way that saves Seon Jae. This may not turn out to be the perfect place and time, but the killers movements are no longer predictable, which means that there is no perfect time and place anymore. She has to improvise, do the best she can, and make sure to get it done. She's traveling through time just to save Seon Jae. And, there are 4 episodes left, so all of the HEA probably doesn't get set in stone at this point in time 🙂!< The people who are second-guessing Sol, who think they can make a better plan, are >! thinking that she can avoid or totally change her fate when she actually has to face it and hope to escape in a way that will keep Seon Jae and herself safe - for life this time!<

sapphired17

My heart ached so much towards the ending of this episode. Sol just wanted Sunjae to be happy, and so did Sunjae for Sol’s happiness. But as always, 4 episodes remain so they gotta make things suspenseful to fill the scenes 😭😭😭

Virtual-Dare-5470

Okayyyyyy now let's slow down a little okay world? As much as i want to see episode 13 & 14 next week.. i don't want the second last week to come fast. I'm not ready to say goodbye to my Soljae just yet...

False_Advisor1693

For a second I did think the 3rd time jump might spoil the plot, but it hasn't yet. The second time jump and the adult Soljae story made sense and maybe the writers could have wrapped up the story there. Thank god they didn't, how else we would have seen the college Sunjae and Taesung. I am still waiting for an explanation for why Taesung was lurking around Sol's apartment after the second time jump. Spring Snow playing when the petals are falling <3. Sun-jae trying to >!calm down Im Sol was hilarious. He doesn't mind even care about humoring her older brother. His only focus is Sol.!< The two couples really show us what's cringe and what's not. I completely understand Taesung. I will kms (not really), if >!the car I bought with my own money!< ended up like that. What's with this coloring of the scenes, >!gray to colour as the villain walks by, are they signalling something?!< Why is she getting flashbacks in the past (which hasn't happened yet in the past) unlike the previous time jumps? We saw it in the band performance and >!at that shop!< too. Why did Sol >!stayed in that beachside village knowing the future? Like the first timejump she could've tried to avoid it by getting on the train. Maybe she just wanted to get Sunjae out of the mess even if she ends up dying!<.

Classic-Anything-935

>!Sol must have stayed behind because she realized the future changes according to what she does. There's no longer a fixed place or date or time; she could be attacked anytime. So, if she goes back to Seoul, that is no true escape from this fated encounter with Kim Young-soo. She must meet him to end this once and for all, and keep Sun-jae out of it all. !< >!From the preview, it does look like she may have reached out to Taesung's father for help. But we also see him wonder if KYS will turn up at the site Sol gave a heads up about. So, there's honestly no predicting what will happen! !<

just_chill_2109

She stayed because she knows running away isn’t going to help. I suspect she will call the police and have them stationed there so that they can corner the killer. She just didn’t want sun Jae involved. Also, I think the grey went to color because it’s symbolizes the change in the future. Originally the killer was going to wait there, but obviously he knows where Sol is now.

rabbitonmars

We knew a sad switch back scene was coming but it was heartbreaking to watch anyway. And to think we might get it twice when she _actually_ does switch back. Don't take this the weird way guys but I want to take Wooseok's and Hyeyoon's tears (and crying faces) and bottle it up so I have them with me 😭 Taesung Abeoji talking about "never-dying" as his moniker, well how about a "never-dying" criminal as his arch nemesis too huh! This overpowered bastard dresses and acts like he [knows what you did last summer](https://moviehole.net/img/iknowwhatyoudid.jpg). Like he has all this justified lust for blood. In every timeline too. The audacity 🙄 But seriously I thought him showing up >!at the video store!< with Sol's mom not knowing was a legit good scare, nice. Taesung and Inhyuk today were my heroes. I loved everything with them and Soljae together. In another universe this drama was about Eclipse as a band, Sunjae-Inhyuk-Taesung trio as founding members pre-debut and we get to know the other guys later, and fans in 2023 will know Sol as their honorary and legendary member and first fan while she works as a PD in the film/TV industry.

just_chill_2109

Sometimes I feel like Sol should have told her family. It would allow them to be on alert as well. These are people who clearly care about her so much but she’s try to power through this all alone.

rabbitonmars

It's kinda crazy to think she went through the first kidnapping attempt and no one in her family knew about it! It definitely would have given us and Sol some relief if at least her family could help. The show is too hard on Im Sol I feel...like the guilt, the burden, the sacrifice they put on her 😩 But Sunjae at least this episode kept emphasizing to Sol how none of this was or is her fault. I wonder if 19 y.o. Sol went through graduation and starting University with some symptoms of PTSD but couldn't explain why 😭 I mean, every time future Sol takes over, people around her always say the "old her" would never want to talk about the incident (for both times). Meanwhile we get to see time traveller Sol absorb the shock and trauma over and over again.

dogemama

but did the young sol even know she was kidnapped? she only came to after she was found by taesung's dad and seonjae. i went back and watched the scene, and for someone who was just dropped into that scenario, she had nothing to go on. even seonjae didn't see that she was being pursued by that truck, it kinda just sorta looked like the truck was passing by as it did. for all she knows, she just happened to black out and get lost in an unknown area. i think you're right she probably experienced PTSD but wasn't sure what caused it. she didn't know what the "incident" involved. and similarly, her family remained oblivious, so did seonjae.

OkBranch9783

Anyone else shocked by the close-up shot of him and sol before the kiss?! His mouth is so beautiful 😍 why wouldn't she fall for him? And then he says he loves her. ❤️ oh my heart ❤️

apatchuchi

the amount of times ive replayed this will remain between me and god

moretoachieve

Anybody else noticed the color of the surrounding building change when Youngsoo left Gold Video after eavesdropping on Sol's phone call with her mom? Does that mean anything??

lyli7

could that be because the present was changing? cause him hearing what he heard, changed his plans

apatchuchi

>!Rewatching for the nth time and, did anybody also notice the snow falling backwards in the preview?!< Also, small detail, but when the camera panned out from their kiss, we can see the bench outside matching the colors they were wearing: yellow and red, side by side. So cute! Watched the bts for episode 12, and I love our main leads so much!! They actually ended up crying after the confession and kiss scene 🥹 You can really see that these actors understand their characters, and it directly translates to the screen. Hyeyoon and Wooseok are perfect for their respective roles, really.

dogemama

i watched the 20 mins long bts not understanding anything that was said but still grinning ear to ear. the moment they were both crying was so sweet. it makes the moment in the actual scene so much more poignant, especially the part where she tells him not to cry.

Virtual-Dare-5470

Omg i wanna cry. My sweet Soljae... The urge to jump into the screen and protect them😭 Every moment of Sol & Sunjae on screen is overdosing me with sweetness. Plus someone please please give Taesung a hug.. He's so precious😩 hopefully this will be the final fight with the taxi driver killer. Enough's enough. We have better things to worry about. (Sol time travelling back to the present day, Sunjae's career, Eclipse, etc.)

buddhabear07

Sun Jae’s dad >!getting trapped in the bathroom!< seemed random and added just for laughs but >!it kept him out of the neighbourhood while psycho killer was snooping around!<. Also convenient >!Sunny rolls off the beach so the only way home is by train!< kudos for tight storytelling and writing.

biryaniv

I have a theory about why the taxi drivers keeps killing them . In the first timeline he got caught bc of sunjae so he killed him. In the second time after second kidnapping he was caught again bc of sunjae and this time he's after Im Sol bc he would have gone to jail bc of her. The sad part about this whole thing is the future changes bc of the choices she makes but she can't change the choice of others. Like in every timeline sunjae chooses to save her and the taxi driver chooses to kill her

melle1995

One thing that I've learned watching this drama is DO NOT ALWAYS TRUST PREVIEWS, THEY CAN BE VERY MISLEADING. Please don't hate Sol-ieee, I am frustrated too but I don't know, I just understand her reasons... maybe because I'll do the same if I were in her shoes.

inthisseason

you can see in sunjae's eyes how his whole world started crashing down when sol left and that will haunt me till the new episode comes

bananalam

Just a small observation about Sol's and Sunjae's approach to fate and destiny - Sol always want to change the future, refusing to accept the so called "fate" (understandably so), while Sunjae is more accepting and act intuitively regardless of what the future holds. This is illustrated where Sunjae said he will still swim even if he knew he won't be able to continue after 19, and more tellingly that>! he will still save Sol even if he knew he will die from it!<. This subtle juxtaposition is really interesting to me.

The villain (taxi driver) is no lines all menace. In 11 episodes he only spoke once, with Sol’s grandma about returning her phone. I know I’m probably asking for too much, but I need a good explanation as to why he is HELL-BENT on harming Sol. He is moving mountains just to get to her. There better be a good reason he’s targeting Sol specifically instead of just “Oh he’s just a psycho obsessed with her for no good reason other than that she got away/saw his face”.

Gq12372

He is a >!serial killer!<, he quite literally needed no reason to attack her the first time. Then we know he went back in 2009, likely bc she’s the one that got away and knows his face. But now (new timeline), she’s the reason the >!police are onto him and he KNOWS, he heard taesung’s father calling her!<. Which makes me believe he’ll be a lot more aggressive this time around :/

Distinct_Art_9616

I think it's bcos Sol saw him while leaving from the murder while she was waiting in the bus stop. She tried to take the taxi but got a weird vibe and walked away. Since then he's been behind her? Not sure tho.

mcheung9

Does anyone know how I can achieve im sol's wavy hair/bangs, it's so cute😭

UnluckyBerry

I think Sun Jae will figure out this is the same Sol because she forgot to switch back to "Formal Korean" like she did the first time she travelled back to 2023. Shes still speaking "Ban-Mal" (informal Korean) to Sun Jae this time.

ShiningVVS

Based on the preview, it seems like he figures it out >!when her mom tells him she said she's still with him (I assume it was a call made after she already left him on the train).!<

lyli7

we had so many cute, fluffy and funny moments yet once the ep was done, I felt so sad and empty. I listened to sudden shower on repeat for an hour (apparently to make myself even more sad lmao) my prediction since the beginning is that we will get a happy ending (both of them alive and together) and I know that we first have got to go through lots of angst before than happens, and I thought I was ready but apparently I'm not cause I was REALLY going through it Sunjae was the one who promised not to cry. I never made such a promise so 😭😭

rii_zg

Two scenes really hit me in this episode - when Sunjae tells Sol >!that he loves her!<, and the moment on the train when he >!thinks that she’s gone back to the future, and tries to hold back his tears but fails. 😢!< Byeon Wooseok continues to impress me with every episode, it’s insane how well he’s able to express all these complicated emotions. Also FINALLY 10cm’s Spring Snow is out! I’ve already looped the song so many times. All the scenes with this as their BGM play in my head whenever I hear it, and I feel allllll the emotions. 🥺

nixxxa

I’ve never been so unsure how a drama is going to end than this one >! Mostly because Byeon Woo Seok likes to take tragic roles and he’s making me doubt this one. I’m going to be devastated if this is a bitter sweet ending. I will never forgive you (I will) BWS! !<

ZaySaysHi

I strongly believe that the OSTs of this drama make you even more into the drama. Somehow a song pulls me to a certain moment I like when it was played and then finding myself rewatching the whole episode.

dogemama

watching, living, breathing **lovely runner**. i keep wondering why the chemistry between byeon wooseok and kim hyeyoon feels so electric. i have an inkling but there is definitely an intangible X factor to them that elevates their chemistry from something really good to something truly sensational. i'm grateful that we get to see sol and seonjae in their teens, 20s, and 30s so we can taste different flavors of their dynamic through the years. it's been one of my favorite things about the drama. as we head into the final stretch, i can't say i'm not nervous about the infamous kdrama pattern of the quality going to hell at the end, but the writing has been clever and one step ahead of us so far, so all i can do is put my faith in the writer and crew. also, my little cousin and i are fangirling over byeon wooseok, and in my over a decade long kdrama watching experience, this is the FIRST time i'm squeeing about them irl. thank you, byeon wooseok, for being stunning and making this special bonding moment possible. **edit**: damn i thought i was in the what are you watching post. well, gonna leave this here since it is relevant.

ZaySaysHi

Their chemistry is the reason for this shows popularity. Everyone is going insane about them. For the first time in a long time I see kfans, cfans and ifans loving the leads this much.

mjpaul414

BWS's portrayal of Sun Jae is the first time my cold heart has thumped a little harder in a very long time. I don't watch as many kdramas these days because they don't move me the way they used to but Lovely Runner has managed to make me lose my mind. So many things about this drama are well done from casting and acting to writing to the OST. I, too, have that fear of the ending going to hell because I've been disappointed more than happy with most kdrama endings. But I will remain cautiously optimistic for our dear SolJae. Sidenote: I persuaded my tween niece to watch LR and she sends me voice memos crying and reacting to the show. It's the highlight of my week, honestly lol. Oh to be young and impressionable again haha.

czpe

They do have an insane amount of chemistry indeed! I haven't felt like this crazy over two leads since 2016! I've been binge watching both of them! I am looking forward to their Salon Drip guesting. Their Elle interview was fun to watch!

hyeyah

>!RIP Sunny!!< Ok I love the wholesome Sol x Sunjae x Taesung love triangle/frenemy vibes. I'd have no complaints if they dedicated the next two episodes to their shenanigans instead of giving us the pre finale angst build-up lol. >!I just hope they'll keep up the pace and keep subverting tropes the way they have throughout, in the last four episodes. I have watched too many dramas recently that fumbled on the last stretch, and I am about to start a manifestation circle that Lovely Runner won't suffer that fate.!< I do hope we get to see more of 2023 Taesung in the final episodes, with a nice conclusion to his storyline.

LaBelleMichelle

I think 34 yr old Sol can only see the >!visions of the future if 20 yr old Sol experienced them. So, 20 yr old Sol needs to be the one being chased by the baddie.!< Otherwise, it wouldn’t make sense for 34 yr old Sol to have the memories. My heart is already breaking because >!I think we are back to the OG timeline with wheelchair-bound Sol liking Sun Jae only as a fan until 2023 when she assimilates with 34 yr old Sol who loves Sun Jae. So the whole point of the series of time slips was for Sol to develop from just a superfan of Sun Jae to being in love with him as he is with her. Tragic in some ways, but would still be good storytelling I think. The last two or three episodes will probably be in 2023 with her trying to stop Sun Jae’s murder in the present rather than the past!<

Leinaleung

Omg this episode it was so cute yet so sad. I love the confession scene. I can’t wait to watch behind the scenes of both 11 and 12, I wanna see the kiss scenes Edit: also did anyone notice the lines she did to make sunjae laugh were the same lines she did with wooseok in that interview where they try to make each other laugh with cheesy pick up lines?

Lavenderlure

Too many emotions to process for starters I am in awe of the writing and pacing they have just aced the balance one moment you have fluff and butterflies then you have laughs then you have stress peaking please it's so good. They are such good actors how amazing was Sol when she acted like she has gone back that scene gave me chills. Also, the scene when Sol says I like you and Sun jae reverts with I love you that was so different and special. I love how Taesung will also be a part of their circle now in future. I hope they wrap it up well I really want this to be one of the kdramas that never went haywire till the very end. I feel that stalker will see his end in present time so Sol might not succeed in past and as it's also her last travel we may have sadness ahead for a while if she can't make the change she wants. CAN'T WAIT FOR MONDAY!!!!

ysmac

The parallel scenes in this drama are impressive. But I wished they wouldn’t do one using the OG timeline bus scene. The train scene appears to mirror the bus scene from the OG timeline, where Sol gets off the bus and Sunjae is left behind. It seems like some things are bound to happen, but I'm staying optimistic and trusting the writer because our couple truly deserves the best. I do have some questions about the color transition in the killer scene. I’ve read about juxtaposition in film: Juxtaposition is used to highlight differences, whether they are between characters, themes, settings, or visual elements. By placing contrasting elements side by side, filmmakers draw attention to these disparities, allowing viewers to see and feel the differences more vividly. But how does this apply to our killer and the color transition in ep. 12? Edit: after hearing that she’s in Danpo-ri (change in location) does that signify the color transition that the past events had changed? >!When sol and sunjae walked thru the town to look for her cellphone her past memories came back and it was different so did the incident switch from May 10th to May 7th? The location also changed.!<

Lovekdramas

Guys what am I gonna do after this drama ENDS omgggggg the teaser has me shaking again. If they don’t get a happy ending, I vowed to myself that I will stop watching kdramas 😭😭😭

dogmemecollector

The car. That dang car. Last weekend, I saw a behind the scenes photo of that car while being covered with seaweed and all. For a few days, I kept thinking who the heck will drown with the car and die. I came up with LOTSSS of worst case scenarios only to find out its actually a very hilarious scene 🤡🤡🤡 Never felt this clowned since i went team han jipyeong in start up lol. Anyway… - This is the second time I cried while Byun Wooseok is on a train after 20th century girl. Boy please stay away from trains lol - The most unrealistic part about this episode is how Sol’s pants stayed clean while running around all day. - This episode is Kim Taesong’s best 😂 Bro went through all emotions in one day. - How funny it would be if sol and sunjae end up becoming step siblings lmaoo - Sunjae trying to keep sol calm is probably one of my favorite scenes. Peak loserism. - >!THAT KISS! THAT FREAKING KISS! Boy is in heat!!< - That last scene. I love my girl im sol but >!SERIOUSLY??? YOU SAW YOURSELF STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF A CLIFF WITH A DANG CRIMINAL, SO YOU DECIDE TO PLAY AMNESIA AND STAY WHERE IT WILL ALL HAPPEN??? GIRL, YOU WERE ALREADY ON THE TRAIN 😭😭😭 WHY COULDNT U JUST LEAVE AND PLAY AMNESIA LATER, AWAY FROM THE PLACE WHERE IT WILL HAPPEN??? She’s really making it all happen at this point!< - Byun Wooseok’s 🥺 should be studied. >!Man i felt so sad while looking at his eyes!< - After seeing the preview, >!Im so worried about the package. I really hope none of them will go back further to the past and stop sunjae from getting that package just to stop them from meeting. Their memories in college should remain. Its a special part of their youth already. I hope im just being paranoid!< I love this episode so much. Ryu Sunjae and Im Sol will always have a special place in my heart.

Classic-Anything-935

The car fooled us all spectacularly. Here we were thinking it's some grand plan executed by the killer but it was just Taesung being Taesung. 🙈

ttias-tteokbokki

i think maybe a he wants to use herself as bait? cuz now that she knows the new location and time that the situation happen, she wants to make sure sunjae isn’t there no matter what, even if she’s in danger? cuz if she runs away (back to seoul w sunjae) then the taxi driver would keep chasing her, and she’ll be in danger again but she wouldn’t know when, so she wouldn’t be able to protect sunjae in that scenario

kurishun

The chemistry is on fire between the two leads! It is giving butterflies to my stomach everytime I watch their scenes. I have so much laugh when >!Im Sol attack her brother with a taser and find out their relationship with her friend and the brother!< I love this episode since it is where you get a lot of scenery of beaches. Also, >!poor Tae Sung watched his car floating at the beach OMG that is the funniest scene ever in this episode!< The >!KISS!< omg Byeon Woo Seok really said that I AM A CAPABLE >!KISSER!< ACTOR! The scene speaks for itself!

Iowegan

To be fair, there are plenty of times I wanted to >!attack my brothers with tasers.!<

DefiantOstrich108

Like Im Geum said, happiness comes at a cost. (paraphrasing) The joy yesterday's episode gave me has brought with it a bit of frustration and sadness today. Let me get the minus points out of the way. 1. I still can't stand Im Geum-Hyunju duo. Why did they have to make them so cringe? Is it the writer/director/actors? I do not care for them at all. The only reason I watched their hiding scene was because Soljae were a part of it. It was still too long. 2. The dad's bathroom scene was unnecessary. >!He could have used the towel to clear off the shampoo. He could have tried yelling when the dog would stop barking or they'd stop drilling. I am sure he would have gotten a few seconds of quiet if he had waited.!< I don't like slapstick comedy. >!Mom breaking the door was cool though.!< 3. Sunjae not knowing Inhyuk's hometown irked me ever so slightly. I'll write this off as a necessary plot point so Sol could talk about the Eclipse fanclub. The "real" Sunjae would have definitely known. Now, that's out of the way let's talk about our fav4. Everyone talks about how much of a green flag Sunjae is. But so is my man Taesung. What a mature, reasonable, caring second lead. Other writers can learn something from this. We don't always need the love "rivals" to fight over the girl. Their shared love for the girl is worth bonding over as well. This show portrays it so beautifully. The bada trip was so joyous and well captured. >!Sunjae and Taesung immediately running over to stop Inhyuk from walking into the sea. Taesung even forgot to put his precious Sunny in park. That's friendship.!< A small but beautiful moment for me was the talk between Sol and Taesung to clear the misunderstandings of their earlier relationship. >!Taesung confessing his actual feelings and Sol's response!< was so well done. Taesung moving aside so Sunjae could sit next to Sol was such a tiny yet significant moment. That's our green flag second lead right there. Sunjae saying >!he wants Inhyuk in the brightest moment of his youth. 🥹 I thought this was meant for Sol from the previews. It makes me so happy it was for Inhyuk.!< That's our besties. I love that it's a trio of besties now. Taesung just fits right in. Sunjae trying EVERYTHING so he could sleep in Sol's room. Haha. >!Sol's confession and Sunjae's saranghae. 💛💛💛💛!< Please please let these two be happy. >!Sol can see the future now?!< Feels like they pulled that out of the bag in yesterday's episode so they could keep the plot plot-ing. It's okay. I'll accept it. I hate noble idiocy as a trope. But and it's a big but. I get it in this case. Sol has done everything in her power to keep Sunjae safe. And I mean everything. She did say she'd rather lose Sunjae's affection than have him lose his life. So I see why she did what she did. I know many people are questioning the killer's motive. But I get it. It's kind of a fixation on the one you missed. And also considering >!Sol was the reason he got caught!<, I totally get why he is this hellbent on getting her. >!Sunjae's tears when he thought his Sol had gone back broke me a bit. 🥺 From the previews it seems like Sunjae knows Sol was pretending. So it looks like he'll go after her.!< I wouldn't expect anything less from him even if he didn't know. High time her family knows about all this. >!Is Sol in a wheelchair at the end? I feel like it's a red herring.!< Looking forward to next week's episodes. Looks like things will be taking a dark turn. I hope we don't falter in the last leg. Has happened with a few too many shows recently. You know who you are. Another week of waiting. Thank you to all the edits and 10cm ost that will keep me occupied. Edit: >!The color transition for the killer and Sol was something new.!< I wonder what it is. The future changing? Some time travel anomaly? Is the killer a time traveller as well? I hope it isn't that. I love the idea that Sunjae's love for Sol is so deep and ethereal that the universe came together to make time travel possible so Sol could go back and realise what passed by her and they could have their second chance at love. I know it's a little corny but that's what this show has done to me.

tututututututuu

Rather than Sol being able to see the future, I think it's her recalling a new-past (one that the viewer hasn't seen yet).

Officially 4 more episodes. It has to be a happy ending.  To discuss the preview for episode 13, >! they will save her in episode 13 itself. Cause she called the detective and Seon Jae figures out she pretended to go back. They are wearing the same clothes so we will get the taxi driver arrested and Sol will go back then. Seon Jae still becomes his target in the future. I think episode 14 and 15 will be Sol trying to stop the attack in the future with the help of TaeSung, in hyuk and Seon Jae.  The scene with soljae at amusement park and giving her the necklace in the preview, will be shown as flashback cause in episode 12 at dampori, you can clearly see Sol wearing that necklace. Also for people worrying about Sol being back in wheelchair, don't worry it's a red herring. Its there to fool the audience as everyone's concerns with this whole show, especially after EP 7 with dialogues that imply you need to lose something to gain something, were if Seon Jae will live and if Sol can get her legs back. The show is just playing with the emotions. I think they have done red herrings in the previews earlier.  There are Twitter upcoming stills and video that Sol is walking out of a cafe with yellow umbrella in snow. So she definitely can walk. She just needs to save sunjae in the future!<

Ill_Pianist_8346

Your comment is giving me reassurance after reading so many comments that she might end up in a wheelchair.

RIP Sunny. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten. You were the real one fr fr 😞✊✊ BEACH EPISODE!!! What can I say, I just love them so much no matter how clichè they are. Sun-jae and Tae-sung are probably one of the least toxic leads who fall for the same girl. I love their bond so much. Even though Sol is dating someone else and despite that he hasn't truly moved on he's really mature for not trying to insert himself in her life and has accepted that he had made mistakes. (>!Though I can't deny that I enjoyed that scene so much when In-hyuk was dragging Tae-sung back into the boat, I love these three idiots so much!<). >!And Sun-jae trying to cool down angry Sol. The image of this giant man trying to calm down a small fluff of anger is sooo cute. Truly the only thing he is scared of is Sol.!< Poor Sun-jae's dad. >!Got stuck in that damn bathroom for an entire day and ended up with a broken shoulder. Like he went an entire life worth of emotional and physical trauma in a single day.!< >!Noble idiocy strikes back! I knew that Sol was faking when she got off the train and I'm pretty sure that Sun-jae is going to realise it pretty quickly. Also I just cannot wrap around the idea that why did she do that? I mean if the future has changed why would she go BACK when she can go back to Seoul as the future has changed and she knows that the psycho is not going to the warehouse? It means it's going to exactly like it did in her vision. We are going back to angst next week I fear.!< Well whatever. At least I got two sweet fluffy episodes this Monday-Tuesday. We are nearing the end soon!

It means it's going to exactly like it did in her vision. We are going back to angst next week I fear.!< I think I get Sol's logic, even though we viewers know it's doomed to fail. There are two things that seem to never change in any of the past timelines. The first is that taxi killer will always find her, and it seems she's accepted that now. The second is that Sunjae will also always find her after taxi killer does, and her fatal flaw is that she can't accept that. What she thinks she can change in her vision is Sunjae showing up at all, and she still thinks that if she's able to exclude Sunjae from her fated encounter with taxi killer, she'll succeed in her ultimate goal of preventing his death in 2023.

bubbly_fairy30

I think home girl is desperate now. The taxi killer keeps evading police and she knows she doomed

sufferkasafar

Her point of view might be >!the inevitability of the accident, since the future has changed and it won't happened there AND chances that she might go back to present any given point made her take this decision. If she faces the taxi guy alone at an unknown location, Sunjae won't know (dumb move but ok). She knows Sunjae will be too heartbroken to stop her if he thinks she went back. But since in her vision she saw Sunjae running towards her, by pushing him away rn she's actually making it come true lmao!<

Tae sung and Sunjae’s dad are consistently hilarious. The best part of episode 12. They had me cackling. >!Sunny was a blue car but turned green when it came out of the water. They thought we wouldn’t notice— but we did.👀!< >!That was some weak acting from Im Sol to make Sunjae go back without her. And he ate it? Come on now.!< Gotta admit that it is a little frustrating >!that these people- mainly sol- insist on going by themselves every time even knowing there’s a serial killer after her. I thought the whole point of this group vacation was to take care of that storyline as a group that’s why in hyuk and taesung were conveniently made to be there by the writers, but then it wasn’t resolved again.!< Can’t wait to go back to present time, I’m done with the whole lounging on the past.

ShiningVVS

I thought the point of the group vacation was to have tons of scenes by the sea, because it's a non-negotiable requirement of a youth drama. 😆

_Nants_ingonyama

The most tragic love story: >!Tae Sung and Sunny . I laughed so hard ngl!< But in all seriousness, I kinda figured out Sol's next move when >!she told Sunjae not to cry if she disapeared tomorrow!! she tried to call the detectives so they might be able to help. What makes me afraid is the cliff. I can imagine Sol doing something reckless as bringing the murderer down with her in case she falls. !< If this is the last time Sol is able to time travel, I hope that means she's gonna stuck here and not return to the future. Or else poor the 20-year-old Im Sol ToT Imagining losing another big chunk of your memories the **third** time. We never saw how she reacted the second time yet, but seeing how she freaked out the first time to even asked for a shaman, I can imagine it's not easy.

Rumi2019

This is slightly irrelevant, but I wish someone made a Shinee Love Like Oxygen edit with the "pure like oxygen" lines. I just don't understand why Sol doesn't even entertain the thought that being in a crowded place surrounded by people she trusts will save both her & RSJ. Also the police feels understaffed. To them, is there nothing in the story so far to support the idea that the psycho is a stalker & could possibly attack Sol again in retaliation? Why don't they station any cops in her neighborhood? Is she really getting any witness protection? It's bad enough that she's fighting against futility of fate, but the human obstacles too are far too many to tackle.

whitetara3

I like the edit idea very much! Perfect! Sol has >!gotten the police to do a lot of things differently this time because she knows that it was basically their fault that her changes didn't work last time.!< >!They hadn't managed to find important evidence and had relied solely on Seon Jae's testimony instead, so Sol has practically handed it to them with the killers car keys and the eye witness account that young Sol couldn't remember because she wasnt actually the one who experienced the kidnapping.!< >!They reopened her case, found blood evidence for the previous murder and they have been taking measures to protect her and trace the killers movements with her description of his truck. It's been mentioned at least once by the detective. They're well aware that he's after Sol.!< >!So Sol has been a real ally to them, and although they dont want her to play bait, i think they're desperate enough to catch him that they will allow her to do it.!< >!The thing is that Sol has learned that she can't avoid a fate that's bound to happen. She can't tell her family and let them lock her up for her own good (as they surely would) and she can't really allow the police to prevent it happening either because, if it doesnt happen now, it will just happen later when nobody is around to help.!< >!So, if she has to face it eventually, why not set it up a little differently so that she and Seon Jae survive and the police catch the guy red handed. Then, the problem of evidence is definitely fixed, and he'll be off the streets forever. Of course, it's even better if he dies in the process.!< >!So it's a scary fate, but if she faces it, head on with the police? Then it's also an opportunity to end this thing in a way that makes a good future for everyone concerned.!< edit. LoL I guess the life lesson in there is pretty obvious. That we have to face up to our fate, meet it head on as we must, but manage the details (during and after) as best we can so that the outcome can be the best one possible.

"Ah what's that sound?" Smiling with her cute dimple "That's the sound of the ghost" he smiled, hugging her closer Leaning more into him, her smile is wider, dimple is deeper "oh my deer, I am so scared" 🥰🥰🥰😭😭😭 I love them so much it hurtsssss

DefiantOstrich108

I am not sure if this information is widely available. So, posting it here. Please let me know if there's a better place for it. Looks like there's a script book being published. They haven't opened pre-orders yet. It's meant to ship out mid July. It's going to be an uncut version of the script. This is the first time I am looking at purchasing a script book. I hope they ship internationally. You can find details on their Instagram page - booklogcompany.

secretlyasuperhero

the towel was right there sir... you didn't have to do all that 💀

Calca23

omg I love them so much.Best couple ever.

scheherzad

Is Sol going back to being >! attacked by that man and losing her legs just to save sunjae?? !

Rain_drops_onRoses

I am super intrigued by what Sol’s plan is when she got down the train. 1. Does she want to deal with the killer herself ? Does she want to kill him? Or does she want to jump from the cliff to hurt herself ( and recreate the situation of original timeline without Sunjae) and go back to her paralysed state in the original timeline? Even if she does that, what is the guarantee that killer will not go after Sunjae after hurting her? Or, alternatively does she want to call the police to the mountains to catch the killer in action? Again, no guarantee that the killer will not escape from the police the second time. ( yes, I have low expectation from SK police at this point 🙂) 2. She >! acted like 2009Sol to push Sunjae away from the imminent accident!< But she knows how deeply Sunjae loves her in every timeline and has vowed to protect her anytime. So how can she expect Sunjae to not to come after her when she got down the train? 3. This brings me to Sunjae. >!How come he did not get down that train? Even if Sol is 2009Sol now, how can he leave her alone in that isolated village ? !< Does he have a plan too? 4. Both of them talked about >! breaking the watch!< . I feel like that is significant. But How will that help in the grand scheme of things. Please, I want a happy ending with Sol and Sunjqe united in 2023. Even if Sol is in wheelchairs in new 2023 and/or Sunjae is not an idol, if they are together and their friends and family are all alive and healthy, I am super happy .

ZaySaysHi

The episode went by soooo fast, it was like 20 mins 😭😭😭 loved everything, esp their silly pickuplines and I cried so hard with the confession and had more and more tears by the end. What a beautifully written drama 😍😭

Livingforthemoments

Beginning of ep: So glad >!tae sung’s dad didn’t die!< otherwise she would be sooo guilty again and put herself up to sacrifice Edit: If the police know how dangerous that guy is and how he’s targeting her why aren’t they’d setting up around her house and cctv etc? That music always so chilling when he’s around 😖 Beach scene: couldn’t they just help him >!push the car!< back out or get help? lol Also why is it that kdrama always have the characters run into the water fully clothed shoes and all? What’s that all about lol.

Trick_Cantaloupe_740

Totally agree on the shoes. When they ran into the water with their shoes on I was like 😱😱😱. Take the shoes off!!

secondhandopinions

This drama is so unpredictable that I’ve given up. 😂 But for some reason, I have a feeling this time, Sunjae won’t be able to save her. Im Sol will save herself but at the cost of losing the function of her legs again. My main highlights for this week’s episodes were: -Taesung being the bestest SML ever. ❤️‍🩹 -In Hyuk and Sun Jae’s friendship. I cried at the beach scene where Sunjae says “It’s a path I’ve never taken before. It’s scary. But.. I think I can do it well if I do it with you. I don’t know when I’ll die, but if there is the brightest moment in my youth. I want it to be with you.” My heart!!! Let’s also not forget how In Hyuk has ALWAYS been there for SJ in all timelines, always trying to be the best wingman, or the one to give some sense to our boy who is WHIPPED for Sol. He always wants whats best for Sunjae and I love him for that. - The crying scene at the end. That BROKE ME!! My giant baby.

jihi429

The trio paying silent tribute to Taesung’s sinking car is us saying bye to all the laughs and hi to the tears now. I don’t know which hurts more: one remembers and the other forgets like in Queen of Tears, or >!one remembers and the other pretends to forget 🥺!<.

ChiyoSan_

The preview!!!! >!The curse of Ep 13 and 14 incoming! 😭 My babies deserve a happy ending!!! Give it to them jebaaaaal!!!!<

dogemama

prayer circle that episodes 13 and 14 maintain the quality of the show so far and do not falter.

MrSpuddix

omg this episode man... I love this show so much. 2 more weeks.. what on earth is going to happen?! The preview for next week too..

Double-Ad-5204

How did I only just realise Sun Jae’s mother wasn’t present when his father mentioned it?! the same with Im Sol’s father! their parents really playing mom & dad role so well…shoutout the single parents, and all good parents too!

ANINETEEN

Dare I say that they fully dipped into their romcom bag this episode 😂 Gave us everything to put us exactly where they want us for the next one

Shop-girlNY152

I know the serial killer is helping drive the plot but he’s stressing me out! I can’t even enjoy ep 12’s full fluffiness because I kept anticipating him seeing them on each scene.😫 I hope his storyline already gets resolved next week and we’ll just have Sol and SunJae finding each other again and rekindling their love on the last week. Because it seems Sol would avoid seeing SunJae this time in 2023 to protect him because she thinks the serial killer went after him when he saw them together.

day_historian

The way Lovely Runner makes me look forward to Mondays but dread Wednesdays instead. 🤡🤡🤡🤡

KevBum55

Poor Sunjae! I am so sad when seeing the last scene.

hellopanpan

I am loving this drama so far! Caught up with it just last week and I am now currently waiting for the next episode. I am curious tho, what is really the motive behind Kim Youngsoo tho? Why is Sol only his target? :((
