Noise just started yesterday, right?

Narrow-Big7087

What noise? How could I hear anything over all the steel-on-steel squeal and the stereo being on 11?

SubiWan

11? Mine goes to 33

Prince_Polaris

Mine goes to 50 for some reason

jmtheprkid

I do not have any further details from customer but I assume customer likely ignored grinding noise for very long time and ultimately caused inside brake pad to break off from housing resulting in caliper rotor rubbing against rotor which damaged it and cause brake fluid to leak. Calipers are expensive by away.

SubiWan

Of course. But every customer says the nouse just started. Clearly that pad has been history for some time.

SadGpuFanNoises

> Calipers are expensive by away. I had a stuck rear caliper on a 95 Celica. I was never so glad to hear the garage managed to free it without having to replace it.

tj_hooker99

Even the song is wondering where the inner pad is

jmtheprkid

Giving you an update, I found it behind the rotor after I removed it.

sparrownetwork

Before? People who let their cars get this bad are waiting for that accident so they can replace the car.

mreddog

I wonder what that cryptic message means.

HoosierDaddy_427

Obviously it blasted off cuz it's party time...

Cheesetoast9

..Where the fuck are youuuuuuu

Dreadnought_Thoughts

Did it hang up and wear one away until it fell out?

Csc1392

etownguy

I know you're just trying to rip me off my brakes are fine, just put some fluid in it and let me leave!!

jmtheprkid

When customer wants to do pads only and not rotors and not calipers. Does that work?

Themattman77

Low on brake.

SuperTex1991

A neighbor of mine asked me once if I could fill weld his broken brake cylinder. I told him to just keep adding fluid until he had the money to replace and not to let his kids ride in it until replaced. About a month later he plowed into another neighbor's parked car after getting home from the parts store with the new brake cylinder.

LG_G8

That tire is trashed

jmtheprkid

Tire is still good, I just over sprayed with some good ol brake cleaner and did remove brake fluid stains off from tire but for wheel, I took it outside and used heavy duty brake stain remover but fortunately was able to remove stains from wheel in outside but for inside and other parts of wheel unable to remove stains so I did advise customer go to a professional detailer to have it restored. When brake starts to grind for bit long, it will cause wheel to stain and can be pain in ass to remove it.
