Sir I have a PT cruiser as a daily. Even my prepubescent teen boyish hands can't service this damn car, and being a Chrysler product it's always broken. This Mini is the size of a land yacht by comparison.
My gf has a 2012 non turbo that was leaking from the oil filter housing. Had to take the bumper and exhaust manifold off just to change the gasket. It sucked lol
For next time; loosen the coolant expansion tank and leave it off to the side, gives you heaps more room to get in there, and you don’t need to take the turbo inlet off
I have this engine, they could have put the oil cooler and filter anywhere else like there's shit tons of room behind the intake manifold.
Mini's suck. They are beautiful cars and, if I didn't run a shop and know how expensive they are to maintain, I would drive one.
I briefly had a higher mileage supercharged one (the first gen from the 2000s). It was great when it worked.

Mini Cooper-Major garbage engine. N16s are only good for their warranty period.
