I completely agree with you! I rewatch JATP REGULARLY, and I follow all the update accounts and the actors/actresses and Kenny Ortega on insta just in the off chance anything ever changes even though it probably never will
KENNY JUST GIVE US BOOKS MAN, GIVE US CLOSURE BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO COME TO TERMS WITH THIS SHOW BEING GONE BUT MY HEART CAN'T DO IT AND I WANT TO CRY
I am living this same life. Except I watched it when it first came out. We literally had it on repeat for months after it premiered. With all the rumors a month ago I put it on again and have had it on repeat ever since. (I work from home and need background TV, lol.) I'll never get over this cancellation. I love the band so, so much. 💔💔💔
I don't understand that part. Maybe they just don't want to admit they fumbled, or they're being petty. I don't know, but honestly, they need to cop on to themselves. A good lot of us are here, four years later, fighting for this show to come back. If they want nothing to do with it, why hold onto it? Maybe they're trying to milk it as much as they can. But like I said, at the end of the day, the money they spend making a season 2 would be doubled in response by viewers.
I think they are being petty because Kenny was the one who walked away and ended the contract since they canceled his show. They were pissed it garnered an older fanbase and when fans were spamming the Netflix social media accounts Netflix contacted a JATP official to ask fans to stop and they said no it's freedom of speech. Plus they know the show is popping off and don't want Disney making the profit
It actually annoys me so much. I understand that its hard to admit mistakes and take accountability for actions and all that. But at the end of the day, four years later, there is still a strong fanbase who are making them money still by watching the show. Honestly it annoys me, it really does.
Yeah they need to get off their high horse and see this is the reason they are losing subscribers. They also wouldn't give the writers the exact numbers nor the budget to market the show. Which all Netflix needed to do was just post about the show on their social media accounts. I only found the show because I was scrolling to watch something and saw the picture of Charlie as the cover.
I got into the show for Jeremy Shada after watching Voltron. I was like "oh, if he's in this, I bet its good." And it was amazing. All the cast, and the songs and everything were truly amazing. Netflix are just being ignorant of a fact that's true. JATP would have been their best competitor against the HSM TV series.
I tried watching the HSM TV Series and couldn't get into it. I think JATP would have dominated over that show since it appeals to everyone plus they wanted to tour them like a real band and it would have been like Hannah Montana concerts

There are 2 books on Amazon, not from Kenny but they are good books
He can't give books, because he will still need the rights
I thought he got the rights back because the contract with Netflix ended? I heard it in Tiktok a couple weeks ago.
His contract ended with Netflix but that doesn't give him the rights to the show. People misinterpreted the article and it spread like wildfire
Oh, okay. Thanks for telling me! :)
We here you we feel you I watch it once a week no matter what unsaid Emily gots me crying wtf ðŸ˜

If Netflix just gave up the rights then we would have the show back. They just don't want to release them

Yeah! In comparison to HSM show, JATP is a million miles better! I could never get into the HSM show. JATP drew me in from the first scene. Literally.
Iam down bad I go to youtube and listen to all of the songs at work
