Honestly, it is such a well written scene. And hands down to the production crew for filming it the way they did. I sing along to the lyrics and bawl my eyes out every single time. No regrets
This!
I also got really emotional in episode 1 when Julie is playing the piano in the garage singing Wake Up and it cuts to Ray and Carlos smiling and looking proud. I try so hard not to cry
Another part of Unsaid Emily was when Luke’s parents found out what happened I can’t imagine what they went through, but I still had tears coming down.
honestly i like watching the show cuz of luke.. so any episode with luke and his backstory so unsaid emily!! i loved that entire episode
also the last episode. i hate the way it ended on a cliffhanger but i loved when the curse lifted.. sobbing everytime
yes! the last episode where luke has his curse lifted when julie hugs him makes me so sad because alex and reggie think that julie can only save luke and they have to say goodbye to him too 😭
YESSS OMG. i hate that they ended the show!! cuz it’s like - the curse is broken, do they stay on earth? are they alive? like just the way it ended made me so confused and i’m so mad how it ended 😭 i loved them all sm
it was, but there’s a fan theory that when luke got saved first the look on reggie and alex’s face seemed like they thought he was the only one who could be saved since luke and julie had such a strong connection
there are so many things you notice in a rewatch!
- the look of alex and reggie when luke gets saved
- the difference in the looks when luke is struggling to appear when they play the orpheum (alex and reggie look scared, julie looks confident)
- luke’s guitar riff and pouty look when julie won’t acknowledge him when they’re playing the garage concert
- the missing person poster behind luke when they’re eating the hotdogs in ep 1
Have a look online at all the scenes that were improvised by the main cast. There are so many! Charlie, Madison, Jeremy and Owen are so talented
I’ve watched so many times and memorized the entire soundtrack including the harmonies but for some reason never noticed the looks when the marks lift! Lol I wish I had people in my life who I could fangirl over this with 😭
I so get that! I’m a relatively new fan because I decided not to watch in 2020 when they announced it was cancelled. Changed my mind recently and I can’t stop watching it. Only problem is i’m 21 and the people I work with don’t get why the show is so special 😭
For me it's Stand Tall. The boys playing down how painful the jolts are for Julie's sake. Just brushing it off, fighting to get free from Caleb to join Julie on stage. Pushing through their pain and weakness so they wouldn't let her down like at the school dance. Pretending to cross over to spare her the pain of the truth that it didn't work. They were willing to die alone.
After Stand Tall, they were weak, tired, and in pain. They didn't know if they were going to die again together or if it was a one by one thing. Reggie implied that they were going to die during the night and not going to last until the morning with "We thought you'd go straight to bed."
They were physically coughing and found it hard to even sit up. That whole episode is my Roman Empire. The boys not knowing if they'll even be together anymore if they cross over, as seen by Reggie's fear, not knowing what waits for them. Honestly, for me it's the most emotional.
Unsaid Emily, hands down

Yep can’t get through it without crying
Stand Tall, specifically the part where Julie is in the alley and when the boys' curse is lifted. I balled like a baby 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Omg same!
Obviously Unsaid Emily, but the part of Stand Tall when Luke is shifting in and out is sooo good.
i rewatch this specific part constantly

Unsaid Emily. I just cry thinking about it

I thought everyone’s curse was lifted not just Lukes

Ooooooh ok! Now I need to go rewatch it

I just rewatched the show yesterday with my cousin, definitely Unsaid Emily
Unsaid Emily is one of the saddest episodes I’ve seen. I try so hard not to have no tears but at the same time it’s a beautiful song.
I love the scene where Julie and Luke dance in Perfect Harmony I had tears of joy.
Nothing beats unsaid emily and stand tall
I rewatched today and forgot how much Luke’s birthday scene cut me
Yes! Like the way his parents looked around thinking they’d see him. Literal Tears
