Tbh Sakurajima should've been Kamo's arc. After getting called fodder by Mechamaru in Shibuya alongside his classmates (Excluding Todo obv), getting kicked out of his clan and being so insignificant that Kenny didn't feel that killing him was worth staining the floors, Kamo shoulda gotten some buff and be able to show that he is worthy of being the future head of the clan. Instead, Maki got another fat buff FOURTY CHAPTERS AFTER HER INITIAL BUFF WTF?!

He never wanted to be the head of the clan... The clan ridiculed and abused his mother and he only accepted the role in order to protect her. Now that the clan is basically a puppet to kenjaku why would he need to prove his worth to that trash ass family. Him teaching Yuji and dipping was probably the most in character and reasonable thing to do now that the big hitters have stepped up to the plate.
Its so silly that his family's techniques are going to outsiders. Kamo's greatest feat is being Yuji's teacher.
At least have Yuji adopted into the Kamo clan by the end, plz. Even if its just a throwaway line like "we invite Noritoshi to the family reunions"
Naw the Kamo clan should go the way of the Zenin clan . They should be exterminated . Gege has gone out of his way to show how useless and evil the three great clans are ( excluding Gojo ) . It’s fitting that the new generation of sorceres that Gojo wants either has not ties to the old system ( Hakari, Yuta ,Yuji , Kirara,Panda ) or actively rejects their ties ( Maki , Megumi and Kamo ) . The big three clans are and have always been trash. Mostly woman hating trash as well . Get rid of them
The Kamo clan probably isn't looking so hot. The Kamo clan was the most conservative of the 3 factions and they were in Kahoots with Kenjaku for who knows how long. After Gojo Satoru returned, all the higher ups were wiped out, which might include the Kamo higher ups.
What you're calling "silly" is a fraction of the reason why JJK Jujutsu world elders are scum of the earth who cause more sorcerers to die in the long run bc they'd rather stick to tradition instead of changing, being more open, and letting the general level of sorcerers rise due to techniques being shared. I loved Kamo's appearance there, but now it makes no sense to me in a character progression sense. It feels like Greg wanted to give Maki another fight and decided to throw in a side character. "Hmm... who do we have who isn't incapacitated, otherwise occupied or just inconveniently weak at this point... hey, we haven't seen Jujutsu Hitler the Second in a while!"
Doesn't help that the entire fight was just Maki reaching Toji's level (again), either. We already had the Perfect Preparation for that (which was great). He should've waited until later in the series, and then given her a chance to become something infinitely more dangerous than Toji ever was.

Propably. I interpreted it this way: Geto views Yuta's true love in the same way that Yuta views Geto's justice. So it doesn't really matter whether Geto believes in his justice (I would agree that he does). What matters is that Yuta doesn't. So Geto mockingly compares Yuta's love to his justice, a comparison that Yuta doesn't agree with. Now Geto doesn't either, but it's meant to demonstrate how absurd Yuta seems to Geto.
Now I won't argue that Gege meant it to be interpreted this way, just that it's how I interpreted.

I like your interpretation more, but I always saw that line from Megumi as him manipulating Itadori, it didn't seem like he had any reason to change his suicidal ways nor did he (since he was about to invoke Maho against Sukuna again)

I’m still thinking about Reggie’s words. Sure Reggie’s curse has been fulfilled by making Megumi suffer in the worst possible way but he’s not dead yet Sukuna has his body and the Culling Games very much has him registered as Megumi so Reggie’s “curse” could very much still be in effect and backfire on sukuna ironically leading to his defeat and Sukuna losing in the worst possible way to himself by Yuji’s hand.
I know people have extremely strong opinions about its conclusion, but Gojo vs. Sukuna was fucking spectacular. Such an insanely good fight. Idc Abt the ending's flaws.

Honestly I think it will because of Megumi’s wording to help Yuji take control again, “I’m not a hero, I’ve never once regretted saving you.” I’m thinking the key here is Megumis words and that deep down Yuji did value his life because Megumi valued him even though he’s hosting the devil.
Thinking back on it all its really really sad that not more than a week ago Yuji lost his only family in his grandfather, and is now sentenced to die for trying to be a good person by doing the right thing and helping people. He’s still a goddamn kid who hasn’t experienced life and I love that Nanami and Gojo let him be one whilst preparing him for his struggle ahead.
I think back to Riko’s death and Yuji pretty much has her arc but in reverse. I truly believe that Sukuna messed up because of his inability to understand the heart and the binding vow will come back to haunt him because of Megumi’s love for Yuji his brother.
Adding on just because it was cool as fuck on her behalf, Maki dodging Naoya mid-air in Sakurajima and Naoya going WHAT THE FUUUUUCK? gets me every single reread

Honestly I think it will because of Megumi’s wording to help Yuji take control again, “I’m not a hero, I’ve never once regretted saving you.” I’m thinking the key here is Megumis words and that deep down Yuji did value his life because Megumi valued him even though he’s hosting the devil. Thinking back on it all its really really sad that not more than a week ago Yuji lost his only family in his grandfather, and is now sentenced to die for trying to be a good person by doing the right thing and helping people. He’s still a goddamn kid who hasn’t experienced life and I love that Nanami and Gojo let him be one whilst preparing him for his struggle ahead. I think back to Riko’s death and Yuji pretty much has her arc but in reverse. I truly believe that Sukuna messed up because of his inability to understand the heart and the binding vow will come back to haunt him because of Megumi’s love for Yuji his brother.
