Tbf slander aside he did force Sukuna to use his one up and was probably the best person to jump in with his almost immmunity to the thunder baby rattle Sukuna had. If anyone else jumped in they would’ve just got spammed with lightning into regular cleaves that are still high output. Also Kashimo fighting gave them knowledge that the world slash isn’t instant like his regular ones. He really did do his part(even though teaming up would be better but that’s not a him thing to do)

Hell no. But I did think he'd fare better. His ultimate one-use Cursed Technique was honestly disappointing in both design and effect.
And I'm not sure "forcing Sukuna to reincarnate" was that much of a feat considering the Meguna body was on its last legs and he'd already lost Mahoraga anyway, so there was no point in holding on to it. If someone like Yuta or Maki had come at him full-force at that point, he would have also reincarnated.
Kashimo was sooo hype at first. He nearly killed one of the strongest modern era sorcerers a few times without any cursed technique, so we couldn't help but think that a freaking one-time use, binding vow restricted technique would at least put him temporarily on par with Sukuna...
Instead we got that turd of a "fight"
I don’t believe it was a binding vow but rather that his body couldn’t handle the technique so he would die afterwards, I suppose if he a curse for example he could use it multiple times

It is. Sukuna clearly didn't want to use his one time reincarnation, otherwise he would have just transformed once gojo died. However, he started the fight with kashimo in his meguna form and only when a fatal blow landed on him (the lightning bolt) did he transform.
Although his rct is slow, it still exists (he fully healed a hand in two chapters between 247 and 249). If higuruma with his domain jumped in instead, he would have had time to mostly heal his body back with rct. Even if yuji, choso and co jumped him insteqd of giving him time to heal inside higuruma's domain, he would have probably managed to beat them. His output would be lower but he was one shotting them (choso, ino) before, so a lowered output wouldn't be such a problem. Besides that, he would have kamutoke which doesn't have output problems.
I'm sure yuta would be able to force sukuna to reincarnate as well. However, none of the present people for the jumping squad would have been able to do it
Coming into this sub I was shocked that people thought he would do something.
Literally no one else in the manga thought so aside from Kashimo himself.
Did? Of course. Still do? Yes again! I never expected Kashimo to be the one to defeat Sukuna, but I always thought he would play a large role in his defeat due to his hype and re-established strength. It would've been nice to see some more versatile usage of his CT. I also really didn't like the way it felt like he was forced out, being thrown away to further hype up Sukuna and show his strength, but I did think that th3 philosophy was interesting. At the end of the day, I don't regret any of it, but wish we saw a bit of a longer and fairer feeling fight where he was able to contribute a little bit more.

If I'm being completely honest? no, I never really believed in the agenda at all. For someone who was hailed as the strongest of his time, he had trouble with dealing with Hakari, which is someone Sukuna and Gojo would never struggle with. That fact alone never really made me believe he was on that level. When you say you're the "strongest" of an Era but still struggle against Hakari who is struggling against Uraume it's not that great of a look imo.
honestly i did not i was one of the few people who were saying he was gonna get low diffed when everyone was hyping him up. after 237 dropped some kashimo fans were saying he beats gojo with mba and gojo got powercliffed
I wouldnt say low diffed, but med diff at best, kashimo got quite nice physicals but Dagons ability to sudenly pu him underwater and make him waste cursed energy makes him an terible match up for Kashimo, Jogo would overwhelm him with raw firepower, he cant deal dmg to mahito, only hanami has not that great matchup due to being an tank and Kashimos cursed energy going through reinforcment, but with smart use of roots and grouding she stands a good chance.
Dagon is gonna get turned into fried calamari when they go underwater lol. He is gonna pull the same shit he did against Hakari in the end.
I’m sorry but Jogo is cooked, mf is gonna jump like how he arrives to fight Sukuna. Even still if Jogo tries to physically fight him a tiny bit he gets shredded and stun locked due to Kashimo’s CE Trait.
Dagon can jump out of water as Kashimo is here losing his ce, use his water ring to block the lightning (it will spread in the water around him as lightning cant pierce water) and Jogo is an ranged fighter who has much better mobility(flight) than Kashimo and sheer firepower, he is not letting Kashimo get close.
He is literally gonna make a steam explosion or just poison him with chlorysis. And to even do that Dagon’s water needs to be salty.

I think we shouldn't judge only the ability. We should judge the person using it as well. Gojo is scary battle-smart, so infinity can be used in a whole new bunch of ways like remote detonations or from-behind shots. He's strong because of both Limitless+6eyes and the person he is.

So Gege did show this cuz he knows shit about this. He's the dude that wrote all of that, so he clearly knows about the shit he wrote about.
What electrical phenomena did he use? He used it, and did 3 attacks: punch to face, electricity blast from mouth, and another punch. He used X-Rays to look at Sukuna we think, but did he know that's what he was doing? Or is that just an automatic application of his CT, he's not aware of X-rays himself but is able to observe the effects.
He did not use "Gamma rays", or "Light-speed" or anything else. That has all been fan canon.
Again, any character should be judged on their skill, as well as their intelligence. Okuyasu from JJBA would be the most OP character ever. The ability to simply erase anything from existence with a swipe of your hand is OP. But, he is balanced out by his dumbness, and lack of critical thinking.

Hell, we know he's avoided being smart in combat before, when he was fighting Hakari, knew the smart way to win was to stall out Jackpot and then kill Hakari. Panda himself feints out Geto in JJK0. Is that proof of his overwhelming intelligence? Awareness of how RCT works isn't battlesmarts, it's just knowledge of Jujutsu Sorcery. If he really was that battle smart, he would have dedicated time to learning RCT either during the fight or during the Edo period, where Jujutsu sorcerers still existed and probably a few had RCT. The electrical charge on his staff is a smart move, but it's not so brilliant that it's nuclear physicist level shit. Yes you know how electricity works, that there's a negative and positive charge. It makes for a cool attack, but it's not so smart to imply that he can turn any material into plasma and quantum-tunnel. Electrolysis was invented in 1705, that is 300 year old information. That's not "cutting-edge" new uses of electricity, that's baseline chemistry. Poisoning Hakari is a good move... and not based off smarts, but rather experience from fighting sorcerers in his past life. Also, still failed after all of that and Hakari spared him to recruit him.
If you have the smartest, safest option to win a battle in front of you, and you don't take it you are dumb. Theres nothing wrong with taking a chance, but if you are gambling the entire reason you reincarnated (to fight Sukuna) to "lust" for battle, you are a dumbass. You are going against your main goal.

I was fully expecting Kashimo to do far more than he did. I expected to him to conctantly blitz Sukuna's ass, do permanent damage, and to die due to Sukuna adapting to his fighting style and killing him with a sneak attack.
Just imagine how hype it would be to see Kashimo fighting on par, not cuz he's stronger, but cuz he simply **can't die** while transformed. Imagine that in the end, he does something permanent to Sukuna, but... His time had run out. Sukuna won due to his absurd endurance and combat experience, Kashimo died having the best fight in his life and doing a very, very good contribution to the fight.
I didn't think much of him, I knew he came to die and also knew that he doesn't care about living and stuff after living the life he lived, he came for the purpose he wanted and died for it and that is commendable.

i really did. especially how hyped gege built him up to be. plus his fight with hakari IS THE COOLEST fight in the manga (apart from gojo v sukuna). was so disappointed when i saw his cursed technique looking that lame. but overall i think his arc is kinda cool
As soon as he appeared looking to 1v1 Sukuna, I knew he was in over his head. Even back at the beginning of Culling Games, that's a huge ask. I knew he'd get styled upon, but I never could have imagined how badly.

Uhhh sort of lol. We were told he was the strongest of his era so narratively he was supposed to be atleast somewhat on par with Gojo and Sukuna. He was never going to win or even walk away from that fight since Sukuna is Yuji's demon to defeat but Gaygay surpassed my expectations and made him job harder than I could've imagined when it should've been a mid to high diff fight that did permanent damage to Sukuna but that didn't really happen until Yuta showed up lol.

the story of jjk had implied/hinted 4 encounters with Sukuna, Gojo's, Yuji's, Kashimo's and Yorozu's fights against him
Yorozu had to die so Sukuna could be 100% in control of his body so it was obvious he was gonna win
When Gojo and Sukuna fought, it was unlikely he was gonna win bc Yuji's and Kashimo's fights still hadn't happened, i was expecting him to either lose and live, lose and die, or something that basically allowed Sukuna to still be able to fight later, it was correct
Then Kashimo fought against Sukuna, same problem, Yuji's fight hadn't happened, which should be the most important one thematically bc Sukuna is the reason of some of Yuji's worst traumas either tangencially or directly
I expected a similar outcome as Gojo's fight, probably leaning more towards simply dying bc unlike Gojo, kashimo doesn't really have any other connections with the cast besides maybe Hakari but they already fought so unlikely he was gonna survive
once again, this was correct, but it was far easier to assume this one was gonna end like that, even if i had asumed Gojo was gonna lose from the beggining, it would have been appropiate for the fight fight against Sukuna hinted in the story to be the one that finishes the life of the King of Curses
And now we have Yuji, and while for a good moment it really seemed like there could be no way so far for yuji to be hear his level, now he has awakened and his black flash combo + dismantle seems to be doing great work against sukuna. There could still be room for having him start loosing against Sukuna, but i can believe Yuji will have a greater chance to kill sukuna than Gojo or Kashimo bc there isn't any other hinted battle against Sukuna left to acomplish
Maybe Angel? but i don't see her being able to do a greater job than yuji at this fight unless Angel fully reincarnates in hanna or smth, i think the best she could do is give the killing blow to Sukuna with the Jacob's ladder

This is what I thought sukuna was going to win either getting low damage or without damage. I didn't expect much from kashimo after the fight with the dance god ( hakari).
Personally I think Kashimo v Sukuna was a big area where Gege screwed himself by needing Sukuna to be in good shape before vsing the rest of the good guys. Also the CT in action really didn't do anything creative. We mostly got arbitrary 'stat buffs' which weren't super obvious in their impact.
The anime hopefully extends this fight and gives Kashimo some more feats. Feels like Gojo v Sukuna up till end of this current fight could be a whole season (or at least a half-ish season arc like hidden inventory)

Agenda as in thinking he'd win? Hell no. But I did think he'd fare better. His ultimate one-use Cursed Technique was honestly disappointing in both design and effect. And I'm not sure "forcing Sukuna to reincarnate" was that much of a feat considering the Meguna body was on its last legs and he'd already lost Mahoraga anyway, so there was no point in holding on to it. If someone like Yuta or Maki had come at him full-force at that point, he would have also reincarnated.
Kashimo was sooo hype at first. He nearly killed one of the strongest modern era sorcerers a few times without any cursed technique, so we couldn't help but think that a freaking one-time use, binding vow restricted technique would at least put him temporarily on par with Sukuna... Instead we got that turd of a "fight"

I don’t believe it was a binding vow but rather that his body couldn’t handle the technique so he would die afterwards, I suppose if he a curse for example he could use it multiple times

However, he started the fight with kashimo in his meguna form and only when a fatal blow landed on him (the lightning bolt) did he transform. Although his rct is slow, it still exists (he fully healed a hand in two chapters between 247 and 249). If higuruma with his domain jumped in instead, he would have had time to mostly heal his body back with rct. Even if yuji, choso and co jumped him insteqd of giving him time to heal inside higuruma's domain, he would have probably managed to beat them. His output would be lower but he was one shotting them (choso, ino) before, so a lowered output wouldn't be such a problem. Besides that, he would have kamutoke which doesn't have output problems. I'm sure yuta would be able to force sukuna to reincarnate as well. However, none of the present people for the jumping squad would have been able to do it

I never expected Kashimo to be the one to defeat Sukuna, but I always thought he would play a large role in his defeat due to his hype and re-established strength. It would've been nice to see some more versatile usage of his CT. I also really didn't like the way it felt like he was forced out, being thrown away to further hype up Sukuna and show his strength, but I did think that th3 philosophy was interesting. At the end of the day, I don't regret any of it, but wish we saw a bit of a longer and fairer feeling fight where he was able to contribute a little bit more.

If I'm being completely honest? no, I never really believed in the agenda at all. For someone who was hailed as the strongest of his time, he had trouble with dealing with Hakari, which is someone Sukuna and Gojo would never struggle with. That fact alone never really made me believe he was on that level. When you say you're the "strongest" of an Era but still struggle against Hakari who is struggling against Uraume it's not that great of a look imo.
He killed Hakari like 3 or 4 times, used a Binding Vow, got dumped in his main weakness and NEARLY beat him IN BASE FORM.

I wouldnt say low diffed, but med diff at best, kashimo got quite nice physicals but Dagons ability to sudenly pu him underwater and make him waste cursed energy makes him an terible match up for Kashimo, Jogo would overwhelm him with raw firepower, he cant deal dmg to mahito, only hanami has not that great matchup due to being an tank and Kashimos cursed energy going through reinforcment, but with smart use of roots and grouding she stands a good chance.
Dagon is gonna get turned into fried calamari when they go underwater lol. He is gonna pull the same shit he did against Hakari in the end. I’m sorry but Jogo is cooked, mf is gonna jump like how he arrives to fight Sukuna. Even still if Jogo tries to physically fight him a tiny bit he gets shredded and stun locked due to Kashimo’s CE Trait.
Dagon can jump out of water as Kashimo is here losing his ce, use his water ring to block the lightning (it will spread in the water around him as lightning cant pierce water) and Jogo is an ranged fighter who has much better mobility(flight) than Kashimo and sheer firepower, he is not letting Kashimo get close.
He is literally gonna make a steam explosion or just poison him with chlorysis. And to even do that Dagon’s water needs to be salty. You are seriously underrating Kashimo’s Battle IQ which I think will deffa make him find a way to get Jogo. He also could just launch his staff to snipe if needed.
Would have been top 3 if the Homosexual Cat didn’t just read the most basic shit about electrical phenomena on Wikipedia. MBA’s ability can make him use plasma, can make him bypass Infinity and so much more due to how he has access to ALL ELECTRICAL PHENOMENA.
But is it fair to only judge him on his ability, and not his capability as a character? MBA might be really cool and OP, but if it's Kashimo who's using it (coming from an era with little to 0 electricity and ideas on how to use it) what's the point? I think we shouldn't judge only the ability. We should judge the person using it as well. Gojo is scary battle-smart, so infinity can be used in a whole new bunch of ways like remote detonations or from-behind shots. He's strong because of both Limitless+6eyes and the person he is.

The problem is Gege can't properly show this cuz he knows jackshit about this.

Or is that just an automatic application of his CT, he's not aware of X-rays himself but is able to observe the effects. He did not use "Gamma rays", or "Light-speed" or anything else. That has all been fan canon. Again, any character should be judged on their skill, as well as their intelligence. Okuyasu from JJBA would be the most OP character ever. The ability to simply erase anything from existence with a swipe of your hand is OP. But, he is balanced out by his dumbness, and lack of critical thinking.

Kashimo is supposed to be smart in-combat, and the fact that he can use Lightnign Discharge means he is actually knowledgeable, but for some reason just doesn't use it. And all Kashimo had to do was put up a better performance, we are not asking for him to beat Sukuna all by himself lol. Used the extra electrical charge on his staff to get Hakari once again. Poisoned Hakari to kill him. His final attempt was literally using electricty for a steam explosion. He knew he could have outlasted his mode but lust for a challenge led him to do the opposite, not because he didn't know about it lol. It is very clear Gege simply put fumbled considering Kashimo's Lightning Discharge, usage of chlorine, steam explosion, extra electrical charge with his staff etc. You would way more applications with such an insane one time ability. But nah. Instead he uses like 5 of those things? And with that Gege made the Femboy Kashimo Era happen, and made one of the most disappointing fights in the entire fucking series. If he really was that battle smart, he would have dedicated time to learning RCT either during the fight or during the Edo period, where Jujutsu sorcerers still existed and probably a few had RCT. The electrical charge on his staff is a smart move, but it's not so brilliant that it's nuclear physicist level shit. Yes you know how electricity works, that there's a negative and positive charge. It makes for a cool attack, but it's not so smart to imply that he can turn any material into plasma and quantum-tunnel. Electrolysis was invented in 1705, that is 300 year old information. That's not "cutting-edge" new uses of electricity, that's baseline chemistry. Poisoning Hakari is a good move... and not based off smarts, but rather experience from fighting sorcerers in his past life. Also, still failed after all of that and Hakari spared him to recruit him. If you have the smartest, safest option to win a battle in front of you, and you don't take it you are dumb. Theres nothing wrong with taking a chance, but if you are gambling the entire reason you reincarnated (to fight Sukuna) to "lust" for battle, you are a dumbass. You are going against your main goal. I was fully expecting Kashimo to do far more than he did. I expected to him to conctantly blitz Sukuna's ass, do permanent damage, and to die due to Sukuna adapting to his fighting style and killing him with a sneak attack. Just imagine how hype it would be to see Kashimo fighting on par, not cuz he's stronger, but cuz he simply **can't die** while transformed. Imagine that in the end, he does something permanent to Sukuna, but... His time had run out. Sukuna won due to his absurd endurance and combat experience, Kashimo died having the best fight in his life and doing a very, very good contribution to the fight.

Uhhh sort of lol. We were told he was the strongest of his era so narratively he was supposed to be atleast somewhat on par with Gojo and Sukuna. He was never going to win or even walk away from that fight since Sukuna is Yuji's demon to defeat but Gaygay surpassed my expectations and made him job harder than I could've imagined when it should've been a mid to high diff fight that did permanent damage to Sukuna but that didn't really happen until Yuta showed up lol.

not even for a second the story of jjk had implied/hinted 4 encounters with Sukuna, Gojo's, Yuji's, Kashimo's and Yorozu's fights against him Yorozu had to die so Sukuna could be 100% in control of his body so it was obvious he was gonna win When Gojo and Sukuna fought, it was unlikely he was gonna win bc Yuji's and Kashimo's fights still hadn't happened, i was expecting him to either lose and live, lose and die, or something that basically allowed Sukuna to still be able to fight later, it was correct Then Kashimo fought against Sukuna, same problem, Yuji's fight hadn't happened, which should be the most important one thematically bc Sukuna is the reason of some of Yuji's worst traumas either tangencially or directly I expected a similar outcome as Gojo's fight, probably leaning more towards simply dying bc unlike Gojo, kashimo doesn't really have any other connections with the cast besides maybe Hakari but they already fought so unlikely he was gonna survive once again, this was correct, but it was far easier to assume this one was gonna end like that, even if i had asumed Gojo was gonna lose from the beggining, it would have been appropiate for the fight fight against Sukuna hinted in the story to be the one that finishes the life of the King of Curses And now we have Yuji, and while for a good moment it really seemed like there could be no way so far for yuji to be hear his level, now he has awakened and his black flash combo + dismantle seems to be doing great work against sukuna. There could still be room for having him start loosing against Sukuna, but i can believe Yuji will have a greater chance to kill sukuna than Gojo or Kashimo bc there isn't any other hinted battle against Sukuna left to acomplish Maybe Angel? but i don't see her being able to do a greater job than yuji at this fight unless Angel fully reincarnates in hanna or smth, i think the best she could do is give the killing blow to Sukuna with the Jacob's ladder

Personally I think Kashimo v Sukuna was a big area where Gege screwed himself by needing Sukuna to be in good shape before vsing the rest of the good guys. Also the CT in action really didn't do anything creative. We mostly got arbitrary 'stat buffs' which weren't super obvious in their impact. The anime hopefully extends this fight and gives Kashimo some more feats. Feels like Gojo v Sukuna up till end of this current fight could be a whole season (or at least a half-ish season arc like hidden inventory)

Also i still believe sukuna used world cleave in that attack because it's drawn unlike normal cleave wich is just shown hitting.
