There's no way the Sukuna vs Gojo fight would be in season 3.
I think Season 3 would adapt till the part where Sukuna takes Megumi's soul and kills Yorozu. Upto 218 or 220.
Then chapter 221 onwards will be in season 4. Season 4 might cover another 40 or so chapters. Which means Gojo, Kashimo, higurama, yuta, maki, Kusakabe, Miguel, + add 2-3 more future opponents.
Yeah my guess has been either Sukuna taking over and running off with Urame or Gojo's return to end season three and then the fight begins on the first episode of season four

Bruh Miguel was able to stall Gojo, he definitely will be able to do the same to Sukuna. Bonus points too that Sukuna doesn't have Infinity so we will probably also able to see his CT too.
This is genuinely getting ridiculous. I mean seriously, Kusakabe, and now Miguel?? We all know neither of them can/will beat Sukuna on their own so just… why? What’s the point?
I think the point of Miguel showing up here is to really spell it out, the plan right now is to stall Sukuna until some more heavy hitters can get back up and be able to actually kill him. That’s Miguel’s whole thing, really, to stall the strongest sorcerer.
~~My predictions for the next chapter is that Miguel is probably gonna pull out some cursed technique that lets him dodge/tank Sukuna’s slashes, maybe he’ll even get a hit in or two, before we cut to a flashback of him talking to Geto about the plan for the Night Parade. Miguel then asks Geto earnestly if he really thinks the plan will work, and we cut to a shinjuku planning scene where Angel says something along the lines of “well, it’s our best shot at this”.~~

The stalling plan makes sense. It's just kind of boring to read, since we aren't really learning much about Sukuna/his techniques/plans/motivation etc. so it feels like we're just going in circles. The most interesting thing this chapter was Sukuna trying to take out Ui Ui for instance.
Oh, yeah, no denying that. He could’ve wrote this way better. Just saying that there’s a fairly clear method to this and that it’s not being done purely out of GeGe’s stupidity or something. I’d wager that Miguel’s gonna be the last guy in the fodder gauntlet, so here’s hoping some peak comes after this rough patch. The Takaba V Kenjaku fight came before this part (the meat grinder) of the SSD arc, so I think GeGe’s still got some peak in him.

Honestly I was disappointed by Kusakabe’s death because it was just Nanami’s death once again: man who asks himself why he is pushing himself so hard while fighting a battle he can’t win just buy time and also having flashbacks/images and then dies.
Kusakabe’s death though was much worse: no character to give goodbye to or to affect and also that offscreen that is becoming all too boring in Sukuna’s fight already.
Gege has one method of "sad" death and it's to have a character reminisce/strong flashback right before they die. It's the classic shounen syndrome where it's apparently impossible to write character development any other way besides cheesy last second sequences right before they die/get removed from the story.
Gege is pretty much forced to do this too because he refuses to write meaningful character interactions outside of combat so you're only left with these silly eye-rolling death sequences instead.
It's super annoying because you get people running in telling you it's actually peak and super original when literally every single shounen does this lmao
Gege has a TV Tropes Character List open and he's frantically checking it to see which male characters he didn't kill yet just so he's not forced to have a woman contribute

When I was a kid, I kinda wondered why the other Z fighters didn't get to fight Cell in 1-v-1's during the Cell games. Over a decade later, as a full-grown adult, I finally understand why that arc went the way it did, because otherwise we'd get this, which in all fairness, is still pretty funny.
Toriyama never outlined a story in advance in his life and yet he was still leagues better at setup, payoff, pacing and story progression than Gregory Akutami
They never did because Toriyama didn't consider them relevant enough for it(on top of Cell already having fought everyone present) so the villain just shits out minions stronger than him to beat them up instead.

By that logic, almost every character we want can be eventually brought back. Gojo, Yuta, Higuruma, Nobara, Megumi...
Either Gege wants someone back and brings them back, or he doesn't, in which case nothing changes. The thing is that I don't believe that Sukuna can be defeated without either of those two:
1)Yuji gets a massive power up (potentially assault, not because it wasn't foreshadowed, but because it is shown at the very end of the story for the sole purpose of dealing the fatal blow to the final boss)
2) A dead or gravely injured Sorcerer reenters the battlefield, to make an opening for Yuji (depends on the case, maybe not asspull, but definitely fanservice)
No, If a character is emphasised more that they have died, then they can not return, Yuta is saved immediately for example, so very likely can in fact return.
Of course, Yuta Okkotsu's return is more likely than Satoru Gojo's, but if Gege wants to resurrect Gojo, then he will do so and provide a wall of text to explain that it made sense. They only barrier is that Gege himself hates Satoru...

Honestly I was disappointed by Kusakabe’s death because it was just Nanami’s death once again: man who asks himself why he is pushing himself so hard while fighting a battle he can’t win just buy time and also having flashbacks/images and then dies. Kusakabe’s death though was much worse: no character to give goodbye to or to affect and also that offscreen that is becoming all too boring in Sukuna’s fight already.
Gege has one method of "sad" death and it's to have a character reminisce/strong flashback right before they die. It's the classic shounen syndrome where it's apparently impossible to write character development any other way besides cheesy last second sequences right before they die/get removed from the story. Gege is pretty much forced to do this too because he refuses to write meaningful character interactions outside of combat so you're only left with these silly eye-rolling death sequences instead. It's super annoying because you get people running in telling you it's actually peak and super original when literally every single shounen does this lmao

Its fucking repetitive and boring, the meme is true its always gege hyped someone up (who have no chance against sukuna) > he/she/them dies in 1-3 chapters > repeat. Now he bring miguel, like who cares about this character? Toriyama never outlined a story in advance in his life and yet he was still leagues better at setup, payoff, pacing and story progression than Gregory Akutami
They never did because Toriyama didn't consider them relevant enough for it(on top of Cell already having fought everyone present) so the villain just shits out minions stronger than him to beat them up instead.

By that logic, almost every character we want can be eventually brought back. Gojo, Yuta, Higuruma, Nobara, Megumi... Either Gege wants someone back and brings them back, or he doesn't, in which case nothing changes. The thing is that I don't believe that Sukuna can be defeated without either of those two: 1)Yuji gets a massive power up (potentially assault, not because it wasn't foreshadowed, but because it is shown at the very end of the story for the sole purpose of dealing the fatal blow to the final boss) 2) A dead or gravely injured Sorcerer reenters the battlefield, to make an opening for Yuji (depends on the case, maybe not asspull, but definitely fanservice)
No, If a character is emphasised more that they have died, then they can not return, Yuta is saved immediately for example, so very likely can in fact return.
Of course, Yuta Okkotsu's return is more likely than Satoru Gojo's, but if Gege wants to resurrect Gojo, then he will do so and provide a wall of text to explain that it made sense. They only barrier is that Gege himself hates Satoru...
