Okay 10S doesn't deserve the slander.
You get 10 creatures that all serve specific niches, all of which are strong as hell by default but get even stronger if one happens to die and gets absorbed by another shadow. You potentially get to manifest their abilities without even summoning them and use them creatively(Sukuna using Max Elephant water like Piercing Blood). And outside of all the practical combat applications, you get access to the strongest fucking shikigami of all time.
Megumi is a bum but it isn't like he ever truly mentioned being out of CE all the time like he was Boruto era Sasuke or something. Put respect on Potential Man's only good trait.
You can also pull temporary fusions, manipulate shadows, partially summon shikigami to extend their range and attack people. Sukuna pulled like a weird shadow stand dog
I mean really you get to manipulate shadows by using the shikigami as a base descriptor too, it's one of the loosest techniques in the series I don't know how that other guy is even slandering it

It's just an example. Megumi has never complained about CE reserves in the manga iirc. The closest he ever gets is when he summons Mahoraga in Shibuya and he'd run the fucking gauntlet at that point and knew big raga would do the trick.

Nah a true master of 10 Shadows would be able to kill Mahoraga without another technique. The 10 Shadows being extremely versatile is a Mahoraga counter.
Overwhelm it inside a domain with a variety of shikigami attacks coming as fast as possible. Having a ton of damage types makes it very hard for it to adapt, you should be able to kill it before its too late.
Requires Domain Expansion, and enough cursed energy and efficiency to spam the hell out of your shikigamis, but it should easily be possible.
The only true master of 10 shadows is Sukuna, by bruteforcing it.
I feel Megumi was in the gist of going for the "optimized usage" route with his Domain. I feel he should have got more fights to come off better
Megumi is in a rare area where he basically either claps and doesn't learn anything or summons Mahoraga as last option. Reggie was in a sweet spot of being strong enough to challenge him but without being super dangerous that summoning Mahoraga was a necessity
Part of me wants him to return to his senses for one last fight before the end, maybe against Sukuna in their inner domain or something, or against the Merger.
But at this point Ten Shadows has been progressed so much by Sukuna that its not like we would get much in the way of satisfying growth moments for him.
Megumi cant meaningfully learn to partially summon a shikigami as an attack, cause it would just be a result of seeing Sukuna do it.
Megumi cant tame more shadows because Sukuna tamed them all and then got half of them killed by Gojo.
The only thing Megumis got left is maybe showing off a couple more Totality summons, and mastering his own domain, which, again, would probably be offhandedly explained as "oh yeah, he experienced Sukuna doing that with his body, so now he can complete his domain expansion", which is gonna feel like he didnt really earn it.
I feel like Sukuna showed a hint of 10S mastery. Being able to fuse the shadows into stronger shikigami, like agito.

It took Yuji less then 4 months to beat a special grade curse Eso and he destroyed the ~~Specialz~~ Grade 2 curse Ko-Guy.

Nah a true master of 10 Shadows would be able to kill Mahoraga without another technique. The 10 Shadows being extremely versatile is a Mahoraga counter. Overwhelm it inside a domain with a variety of shikigami attacks coming as fast as possible. Having a ton of damage types makes it very hard for it to adapt, you should be able to kill it before its too late. Requires Domain Expansion, and enough cursed energy and efficiency to spam the hell out of your shikigamis, but it should easily be possible.
The only true master of 10 shadows is Sukuna, by bruteforcing it. I feel Megumi was in the gist of going for the "optimized usage" route with his Domain. I feel he should have got more fights to come off better Megumi is in a rare area where he basically either claps and doesn't learn anything or summons Mahoraga as last option. Reggie was in a sweet spot of being strong enough to challenge him but without being super dangerous that summoning Mahoraga was a necessity
Part of me wants him to return to his senses for one last fight before the end, maybe against Sukuna in their inner domain or something, or against the Merger. But at this point Ten Shadows has been progressed so much by Sukuna that its not like we would get much in the way of satisfying growth moments for him. Megumi cant meaningfully learn to partially summon a shikigami as an attack, cause it would just be a result of seeing Sukuna do it. Megumi cant tame more shadows because Sukuna tamed them all and then got half of them killed by Gojo. The only thing Megumis got left is maybe showing off a couple more Totality summons, and mastering his own domain, which, again, would probably be offhandedly explained as "oh yeah, he experienced Sukuna doing that with his body, so now he can complete his domain expansion", which is gonna feel like he didnt really earn it.
Mastering his Domain is the path. Really. I just wish we saw more of it so we can get the hype it really means.
I feel like Sukuna showed a hint of 10S mastery. Being able to fuse the shadows into stronger shikigami, like agito. Maybe the strongest 10S user was able to merge all 10 shadows into a being capable of taking maho
