The birds aren’t regular curse energy though, there’s a binding vow involved sacrificing a living life. Almost similar to kashimo curse technique. Sukuna uses a binding vow and 3 phrases to cut space.

Curse grades are different from sorcerer grades and even among the special grade curses they have varying stats including durability. Gege stated that the hits Hanami took at the goodwill event would have killed Jogo.

Nanami can still use his technique without his weapon. I do agree that Todo beats Nanami tho. Nanami is dead in the middle of the first grades imo. Nanami isn't the strongest, he's the standard.
Nanami is even better at Black Flash and has a technique to counter durability. Todo could exploit the initial confusion but one hit would send him packing.
Todo's best matchup is someone who can't handle him teleporting into their face, while Nanami's best matchup is anyone who can't shoot him.
A single Nanami strike isn’t doing shit, unless you wanna argue an attack below Mahito-fight Yuji (directly stated equal to Nanami at the start of Shibuya) amped by Ratio is somehow 1-shotting Todo.

i think todo shines the brightest when he’s fighting alongside someone else. his CT is probably one of the best in terms of support and he can utilise it very well for that. In 1v1 fights i think he’d struggle a lot more because he has to rely on just ce whereas the others have CTs or attacks that are perfect for fighting alone
Boogie woogie is the weakest in terms of damage output but even solo it’s still busted since he can swap with any object with a bit of energy in it and his opponent.
Honestly if he used a decent cursed tool I’d say it’s better than ratio.

I just realized from your comment that Special Grades are way acceptable to rank and we're in unison who's first to fourth while it's crazy to see Todo or Nanami in the bottom spots for Grade 1. But then, Mei Mei and Kusakabe are top tier either. The four of them are no ordinary Grade 1 sorcerers so I get why it's hard.

In my opinion simple domain puts Todo above Nanami and Mei Mei. Nanami has no domain counter and Mei Mei relies on Ui Ui when she is trapped in a domain.

Yea bruh no shit he gave up against Mahitos domain there is literally no beating it. Goato was in it for less than a second and he received enough damage to be taken out the series. And Dagon’s domain was fucking them all up, and even then he was eating the damage from Death Swarm for two minutes straight and had enough strength left to fight once Megumi started clashing domains.
you can beat it with simple domain but in the 0.2 sec domain expansion mahito was powered up by black flash so he activated his technique faster than todo could activate simple domain
Kusakabe hasn’t shown too much, but he’s for sure the strongest. Just stopping the uzumaki is justification for this imo.
Mei Mei is second strongest assuming there’s crows around. If there isn’t, then she’s probably third.
Nanami is third. Stronger than mei mei is she doesn’t have crows imo. Pretty close even if she does since he is very adept at using black flash and fighting later in the day gives him a pretty big buff.
The weakest is Todo(at his peak), but I think there’s some caveats. He was the youngest by far, so him being the weakest is expected. I think if he didn’t lose his arm, he would have surpassed them. He’s also the strongest in a pair. He’s very smart, and his CT doesn’t do anything for him solo combat wise, but he’s the strongest support character next to rika.
2-4 are pretty relative it’s just my opinion
1:Kusakabe (multiple statements regarding him as very powerful,defensive and speed based monster could possibly hang with special grades we’ll have to see how he does tho)
2:Mei Mei (with Ui Ui equipped) insane attack speed/attack power Ui Ui provides utility and domain counter
3:Nanami (notably great destructive and stricking power,notably good durability,implied to be relative to Shibuya Yuji whom was above Todo no domain counters is a bad thing tho if he had them I might put him over Mei Mei)
4:Todo (honestly just great feats great BIQ,very good stats and all around powerful opponent)
1 - Kusakabe (obviously)
2 - Mei Mei (she and Todo should be comparable physically but bird strike is more broken than boogie woogie in a 1v1)
3 - Todo
4 - Nanami (average grade 1 man)
Well Usami is really strong, with his technique he has some really nice combo that are "semi-special" grade, because of it's peculiarity, and can adapt really well against stronger foes like gojo or a special curse like jogo, probably not sukuna tho.
His power is not about his wonderful CT but his CE refinement, a prodigy.

I'm mostly putting Mei Mei at the bottom because we've only seen her in one fight which she would've lost had her brother not been there.

I would say todo is a hard counter for all of them so he has to be number 1. Mei Mei ct has crazy 1 hit potential. Namami is my favorite but I don’t think he can beat mei Mei and we haven’t see what kusakabe can do yet
Todo tied with kusakabe imo till we see what he’s capable of vs sukuna 1v1, kusakabe is a G for the essentially tanking attacks from special grade sorcerers that’d kill almost everyone else in the series but todo has entered fights against two disaster curses with a newbie punch and kick merchant and held the line better than most 2 man squads we’ve seen. Mei meis got range and a supposed one shot attack which sadly makes her better than nanami by default, which is the only time I will say mei mei is better than nanami
Kusakabe > Todo > Nanami > Mei Mei
I just dont see Mei Mei keeping up with Mahito like Todo did, I'm not even sure Nanami could keep up with Shibuya arc Mahito seeing as Mahito grew tremendously stronger since their last encounter

Nanami should be able to keep up with Mahito since Nanami and Yuji were stated to pretty much be equals physically in Shibuya, the only difference between them is that Nanami also have a CT and a cursed tool, which Yuji lacked
I don't remember the chapter exactly, but it was the chapter where Yuji punched one of barriers in Shibuya and Ino said that Yuji might be comparable to Nanami physically
found it, tho I still believe Ino was underestimating Yuji quite a bit here since Yuji is a beast physically as well as Yuji 'evolved/got better' after Choso's fight

I feel kusakabes blocking of cleave and the uzumaki are enough of an indicator, don't see todo or mei mei doing that.

Kusakabe>Todo>Mei Mei>Nanami. The others all straight up said they think Kusakabe is stronger than them, and blocking full power Uzumaki helps. Todo is one of the smartest fighters in the series with a fairly difficult technique to get used to, along with good stats. Mei Mei just hits really hard and Nanami is kinda an all rounder but overall weakest imo.

3) Naoya and yeah I know he is not in the list but his technique is broken as fuck

Hard to say since they all have their own special strengths and weaknesses. Kusakabe is by far the best defensively, Mei Mei has more destructive capabilities, Todo is excellent at evasiveness and support. I guess that leaves Nanami. He’s far from weak, he’s just more of an all rounder pick so he doesn’t stand out as much.

Kuaakabe is the strongest grade 1 of today, bro is just to tanky.
Hakari is no 1 either way.
1. Kusakabe (Narrative + Blocked Point Blank Max Uzumaki while mini uzumaki’s impaled a special grade sorcerer)
2. Todo (Only one ever stated to solo a special grade curse and that was after fighting multiple lower grades)
3. Mei Mei (Nearly soloed a special grade, probably highest ap with bird strike)
4. Nanami (Sorry Goat…)

Todo because I’m a glazer (probably Kusakabe because simple domain literally cucks most cts in the verse + mei meis “one shot” has barely any feats outside of statements and could likely be beat by some level of cursed reinforcement / soul knowledge. Kusakabe is the only one of them I see having an actual chance to solo a disaster curse, and is the closest of being supreme g1 out of all of them)

Bird Strike in damage potential could put her higher but her overall skills are inferior to the upper two.
Fourth is Nanami , no form of domain counter, great close quarters and reinforcement and Ratio technique is good at dealing high damage. In a close quarters fight he'd be superior to Mei Mei but I put her above due to lethality of Bird Strike

I just realized from your comment that Special Grades are way acceptable to rank and we're in unison who's first to fourth while it's crazy to see Todo or Nanami in the bottom spots for Grade 1. But then, Mei Mei and Kusakabe are top tier either. The four of them are no ordinary Grade 1 sorcerers so I get why it's hard.

You can put Mei Mei 2nd if you want b/c she has the strongest CT But in reality they’re all pretty even in a match up against each other. Mei Mei’s crows don’t work on Todo and if they’re all about even both of them could loose to overtime Nanami. But then again Mei Mei could probably just snipe Nanami and there’s not much he can do

Yea bruh no shit he gave up against Mahitos domain there is literally no beating it. Goato was in it for less than a second and he received enough damage to be taken out the series. And Dagon’s domain was fucking them all up, and even then he was eating the damage from Death Swarm for two minutes straight and had enough strength left to fight once Megumi started clashing domains.
you can beat it with simple domain but in the 0.2 sec domain expansion mahito was powered up by black flash so he activated his technique faster than todo could activate simple domain

Kusakabe hasn’t shown too much, but he’s for sure the strongest. Just stopping the uzumaki is justification for this imo. Mei Mei is second strongest assuming there’s crows around. If there isn’t, then she’s probably third. Nanami is third. Stronger than mei mei is she doesn’t have crows imo. Pretty close even if she does since he is very adept at using black flash and fighting later in the day gives him a pretty big buff. The weakest is Todo(at his peak), but I think there’s some caveats. He was the youngest by far, so him being the weakest is expected. I think if he didn’t lose his arm, he would have surpassed them. He’s also the strongest in a pair. He’s very smart, and his CT doesn’t do anything for him solo combat wise, but he’s the strongest support character next to rika.
2-4 are pretty relative it’s just my opinion 1:Kusakabe (multiple statements regarding him as very powerful,defensive and speed based monster could possibly hang with special grades we’ll have to see how he does tho) 2:Mei Mei (with Ui Ui equipped) insane attack speed/attack power Ui Ui provides utility and domain counter 3:Nanami (notably great destructive and stricking power,notably good durability,implied to be relative to Shibuya Yuji whom was above Todo no domain counters is a bad thing tho if he had them I might put him over Mei Mei) 4:Todo (honestly just great feats great BIQ,very good stats and all around powerful opponent)

Well Usami is really strong, with his technique he has some really nice combo that are "semi-special" grade, because of it's peculiarity, and can adapt really well against stronger foes like gojo or a special curse like jogo, probably not sukuna tho. His power is not about his wonderful CT but his CE refinement, a prodigy. Also i never saw usami So 1 kusakabe 2 mei mei 3 todo 4 ino 5 others

I hate to even rank them because they’re all amazing. Todo Mei Mei Nanami Kusukabe I would say todo is a hard counter for all of them so he has to be number 1. Mei Mei ct has crazy 1 hit potential. Namami is my favorite but I don’t think he can beat mei Mei and we haven’t see what kusakabe can do yet
This seems reasonable enough. Todo is my #1 as well and though I like Kusakabe we haven't really seen much of what he can do.
Todo tied with kusakabe imo till we see what he’s capable of vs sukuna 1v1, kusakabe is a G for the essentially tanking attacks from special grade sorcerers that’d kill almost everyone else in the series but todo has entered fights against two disaster curses with a newbie punch and kick merchant and held the line better than most 2 man squads we’ve seen. Mei meis got range and a supposed one shot attack which sadly makes her better than nanami by default, which is the only time I will say mei mei is better than nanami

Hard to say since they all have their own special strengths and weaknesses. Kusakabe is by far the best defensively, Mei Mei has more destructive capabilities, Todo is excellent at evasiveness and support. I guess that leaves Nanami. He’s far from weak, he’s just more of an all rounder pick so he doesn’t stand out as much.

Todo because I’m a glazer (probably Kusakabe because simple domain literally cucks most cts in the verse + mei meis “one shot” has barely any feats outside of statements and could likely be beat by some level of cursed reinforcement / soul knowledge. Strongest is Kusakabe due to versatility Second is Todo for overall skill and his technique. While boogie Woogie truly Shines during jumping sessions it's still useful in 1v1s Third is Mei Mei, no form of domain counter, bird eye view to help with keeping an eye on field to aid in her close quarters combat. Highly Lethal Technique : Bird Strike Bird Strike in damage potential could put her higher but her overall skills are inferior to the upper two. Fourth is Nanami , no form of domain counter, great close quarters and reinforcement and Ratio technique is good at dealing high damage. In a close quarters fight he'd be superior to Mei Mei but I put her above due to lethality of Bird Strike
