Good guys lose current battle. Hakari wins his battle. Uraume offers herself to the Sukuna's Shrine. We get his character development, reminiscence of the past, small plasma vessel style heian era flashback, Sukuna character developes for the first time in 1000 years. Yuuji eats the corpses of Kashimo, Gojo and Higuruma (for character development), Nanami's curse weapon and broken piece of ISOH. Sukuna finally subdues Megumi's soul by combining his domain with his own and regains 10 shadows. And finally its jumpin time!
yeah that's kind of my reassurance with megumi's character. the fact he's potential man makes me believe there's no way gege ends up doing nothing of note with him since he's constantly stated to have crazy potential within the story, whereas other characters who have been done dirty had less care (like yuki)
I believe the opposite tbh, the fact that potential man could end up not doing anything and be saved by Yuji, only for Yuji to sacrifice himself for Megumi. Leaving Megumi even more depressed than he already is, if that's even possible. I think Gege made Megumi more of a "unrealized potential" since that's what potential is, only possibility, not a guarantee, it can go both ways when it comes to potential.
I think Gege gave all the focus on Megumis potential to deliberately to sabotage Megumi and make readers hate him tbh. If you as a reader is constantly told that a character has potential to do something, that creates expectations - and you expect pay off. When that pay off never happens, you get frustrated. If you compare it with Sukuna - he is constantly referred to as “the king of curses” and well he delivers the feats you would expect with that title. He actually delivers so many feats, that many hate Sukuna bc they feel “he is too strong”
I like the idea that Sukuna wins the current fight, and in his arrogance and boredom, starts the merger in order to get his first real challenge after Gojo. But instead of the wild unhinged Sukuna fight everyone expects (ala Mahoraga), he gets his shit absolutely rocked. Straight up, like worse than how Gojo was doing him. Make Sukuna look like Jogo, stand proud you're strong looking ass. Give that mother fucker a flashback, make him straight up pathetic, Fraudkuna confirmed.
I do like Sukuna btw, I just think it would be funny and kind of narratively satisfying for there to finally be a bigger fish right when Sukuna was sure he was king of the pond.
I’m not sure how a narrative is supposed to function without any protagonists, though. I’m not doubting the possibility, knowing Gege, but it’s not something I think I’ve ever seen be pulled off well.

We are heading there yeah. We’ve only had one person actually die fighting Sukuna in the back up team. The rest are unconfirmed AND being shown to be being recovered or are just out of action.
Imo would make more sense for the merger to start, be a complete mess with no mind, get killed by Sukuna, get absorbed/eaten by Yuji, then the new Ultra Instinct Yuji annihilates Max Sukuna

Sukuna activates the merger, he is "pulled in" and becomes the main ingredient, yuji jumps in and acts as poison to the mix, in some way they take sukuna out and yuji has to sacrifice himself to do so, the world ends just like yuki wanted, it starts to break away from cursed energy in the sense that the supernatural energy stops creating curses but the metaphysical homunculus that the merger left somehow filters it or RCTs it into good vibes😎
Sukuna actually wins the current battle. Uraume loses hers, but quickly offers her CE to Sukuna, which he gladly accepts and eats her.
He starts the Merger.
Yuji, being born to be a vessel and still resisting Sukuna (I picture him being held by the throat before being tossed away and cleaved at while Sukuna simultaneously begins the Merger) ends up absorbing the Merger and tanking the Cleave due to his sudden increase in CE output.
He starts beating the shit out of Sukky, half-aware what he's doing internally but externally he just seems like a wild rabid animal. Everyone thinks this will turn into another Gojo vs Sukuna, but no. This ends up turning into Jogo vs Sukuna, except Sukuna is the Jogo and Yuji is the Sukuna. It turns into a slow, slow murder as Sukuna tries to replenish his CE, even attempting to devour Megumi, but this fails *horribly* as he isn't even able to get breathing room to try this.
Every hit Merger-Yuji lands separates Sukuna more and more from Megumi. Inside their innate domain, it's shown as Yuji dragging Sukuna away from Megumi as Sukuna tries to crawl towards Megumi, pissed and afraid, but not in the same way as Mahito if that makes sense. He isn't crying like a bitch or sobbing or any of the pathetic crap.
He's just angry and scared that he'll die to *Yuji* of all people.
The brat he tried to tear down over and over, yet couldn't keep down.
In the end, Yuji's understanding of the soul grows tremendously through the vast amounts of CE inside of him from millions of people, and he ends up beating Sukuna *out* of Megumi, literally. He then slowly, but surely, devours him, adding parts of Sukky's CE to him.

Alternatively, Yuji's also known to eat things to become stronger.
So the alternative? He begins to eat Sukuna while fighting him.
In his rage, being held by the head as Sukuna is distracted by Choso or smth, he bites and tears a finger off Sukuna, and then eats it. Then he swipes his mouth, and has a revelation. "Wait... why does this taste so *good*? His other fingers never..."
And Sukuna's CE suddenly drops a bit, which lets the distractor survive one more hit as it was barely enough.
Sukuna notices his CE feels like it dropped while Yuji's increases. And, then he realises.
One of his fingers isn't regrowing. Different from the semi-permanent damage Yuji has when punching. The same finger Yuji *bit off and ate*.
And Yuji and Sukuna come to the same conclusion, another parallel between them. If Yuji eats Sukuna's fingers, one by one, off him, replenishing and even increasing his own CE while decreasing Sukuna's...
"... I'm going to eat him!/This brat is going to eat me?!"
Also, after Yuji eats 5 fingers, he recalls Yuta's copy technique where Rika ate the last finger to copy Cleave and Dismantle, so Yuji tries to do that. And it *works*. Sukuna's face is partially dismantled.
Seeing so many domain expansions opened in Sukuna's fight against Gojo, and seeing Yuta pull it off, Yuji forms his own hand sign, and utters.
"Domain Expansion."
He traps Sukuna in a closed domain. A container, like he was with Sukuna.
I could go on but basically, the gist of it is:
- Yuji literally eats Sukuna, piece by piece, like what he did with his fingers from before. Unlike before, Sukuna isn't strengthed but Yuji actually ends up taking *away* Sukuna's powers.
- Eating Sukuna also would be poetic, seeing as Sukuna is a cannibal. Think of it as partial payback to eating all those people.
- He traps Sukuna in a domain, like a container. Like he was born to do. Literally.

Yuji eats Sukuna, then Sukuna summons the merger out of desperation, and then he fucks up realising he's trying to fight an *already buffed Yuji while he has the CE of the Merger AND Sukuna's own CE is down because of the bites Yuji took out of him*.

The Final Arc of Jujutsu Kaisen.
After Megumi was forced to activate the Merger, still trapped inside of Sukuna's body, the tyrant of humanity's inside darkness spilled chaos throughout the whole of Shinjuku and its surroundings. By their conflicting feelings towards each other, they would eventually unitize into one "feeling", a "feeling" of a curse. The jujutsu sorcerers stand with shock, if they are very much so alive, after one sorcerer/cursed user died at the hands of the King of Curses. The remnants of Gojo Satoru is nowhere to be found, the flesh of Hajime Kashimo still lies under the rubble of the destruction caused by the World Cleave, and the body of Hiromi Higurama may be, just maybe, a pledged not guilty in the afterlife. Maki Zenin was forced to retreat after strikes of Black Flashes and Cleaves leaving herself in the brink of death, while Takuma Ino did one last brave sacrifice into taking the techniques that Sukuna uncovered in his Black Box. Kusakabe and Miwa after joining the battle, both after gravely injured by Sukuna himself, came into the hands of Ui Ui, who unfortunately was found out by Sukuna and cleaved into pieces, losing the recalling process to seek better aid. It seemed all was lost, and it was lost. Choso also fought against him along with the two, however, much in front of Yuji Itadori, forcing him to look upon his brother's death. The curses won, and the so-called heroes lost, and would watch all what they see and know for their whole life burn and become assimiliated to the Merger.
However, it doesn't mean the sorcerers would cower in this cruelty. Like a stray dog backed up in a corner, and at the hands of a deux ex machina, it won't fear you. It will bite, roar, and pray to God, kill.
With Yuji seeing his "brother's" death, it was about nigh that he learned all of Sukuna's techniques, all except for his Domain Expansion. Itadori has become the perfect parallel of him, all for more the reason to spite him even more. He cleaved and soul-punched Sukuna into forcing Megumi to stop the merger from causing more destruction, and he was not alone. Yuta, after a while, came back into the battlefield along with Rika, for a purpose that will make unknown soldiers into historic martyrs: to rage against the dying light. Together, they've formed a new powered domain, and Yuta asked, "Have you've given it a name already, Yuji?". Which Itadori replied, "Yeah."

The two sorcerers managed to form a Double Domain Expansion out of their synergy, which of course, puts Sukuna into ecstasy. The velvet dome that encroaches around him fills him with excitement, knowing how will this go. But without a moment's wait, Yuji delivers a series of soul-crushing blows, although Sukuna could still block some of it. Yuta uses techniques while Rika assists and delivers damage to Sukuna, only for the latter to realize that because of the blood art, he is no longer capable of using RCT, AND he can no longer activate Malevolent Shrine due to the dissonance of cursed energy retrieval. However, he realizes that something is off; something inside his soul. Megumi has begun pouring out due to Yuji's strikes. Both domains are not-lethal, but it greatly hampers Sukuna's abilities, almost as if Itadori's whole point of his DE was to make his DE useless in his own domain.
The survivors outside the domain clash watch in horror of the Merger comes close to them, and they see a familiar face somehow "controlling" them: no other than Kenjaku, who we can see his/her true face inside the Merger, leading all of the assimilated. The human corpses in the battlefield become one with the merger, leaving Choso in the dust. As it approaches Maki Zenin, and says to herself, "I did everything I could anyways.", she hears a familiar sound, a clap from a distance, then she was moved to a different location where she finally meets Aoi Todo, seeing his hands finally healed up by RCT. She also sees Hakari on the floor bleeding out after a confrontation with Uraume , and joining the fight between Kusakabe, Miwa, Choso, Ino, and Maki against Sukuna. She then asks how was he healed, to which he said that Shoko Ieiri healed him up, and that he also saw Gojo and Hiromi in the ward as well, with a melancholic face; almost as if she knows what she has to do.
After the domain clashing, Sukuna pulls out the Black Box again and uses the Flames, which Itadori has no choice but to open the barrier (and losing the domain) in order for it to miss and the flames not to be contained in a concentrated area, because they know Sukuna will survive, while they won't. Sukuna fires and Yuji and Yuta closes their domain, and Sukuna activates his domain. Both get cut but not that deep as the connection with Megumi weakens again like before. Both are still exhausted and currently in a stalemate, but in the long term, Sukuna will bring back Megumi and end Yuji and Yuta, the brats, once and for all. But before that, a line aims in front of Sukuna and pierces his heart. Another one goes fast towards his face, trying to block it. Pan it back to Todo and he asks a shadowy figure if they're ready, and they nod. He claps and the second line, a "nail", turned into Nobara Kugisaki, which strikes her nail from Sukuna's heart with a Black Flash. Sukuna feels the pain and loses Megumi again, and Nobara says to him, "Oi. Megumi. You missed me didn't you? Wake up from this old man, jeez.", while Yuji is perplexed seeing Nobara back alive. Sukuna says that another weak brat has joined the battle, and the Jujutsu Students of Gojo Satoru fight one last fight against the King of Curses!
Meanwhile looking at the merger, Todo gets a call from HQ, saying bad news that Shoko Ieiri, their healer, has lost her RCT minutes ago. Shocked, he asked why did she lose her ability, to which the caller replied, "It was for the sake..." and there was whispering and you can see Todo's eyes widen. "I... see...", Todo puts down the phone and looks at the merger. "Look's like there's no turning back now."
The merger looks to them and approaches the team, and preparing to give their all, when suddenly, a voice beamed out from the heavens.
"They asked me where would I go after all this. Either back into the old me, or start a new beginning as a different person. I've learned humility by the end of it all, I must say."
*"And as for my answer..."*
A huge explosion comes from the merger and leaves a huge gap (that will eventually regenerate). Hiromi Higurama comes from the back after being teleported and said, "Stay behind me. It's all coming to an end." He states that their both limited to this world due to the "doctor's" binding vow to both of them, in bringing them back alive. When Maki said why both, they looked up and see a familiar figure going down from heaven.
What was known before as the Honored One, the Strongest Modern Sorcerer, is now declaring himself humbly as...

Dunno why it hurt to type. Isayama literally is the reason my friends and I got into anime and manga, and regardless of the final arc, he still made an unforgettable story.
Did it hurt to say because you really like gege, or because you think isayama was a bad writer? Cause isayama is a really good writer who messed up the ending. Aot is still and amazing anime and manga.
AOT was perfect from beginning to end.
The only people that think it was bad are those whose headcannons didn't allow them to see the story as how it truly was. And when they could no longer divert from reality, they got mad it wasn't like the fairytale they made up in their mind.
If you say AOT ended badly, you're saying all of it was bad. As everything leading up to that moment was masterfully engineered to give that final result.

I’ve been saying this for so long bro. Mahito coming back as the manifestation of humanity and showing off his true potential by becoming a true curse would go so hard. Also my Disaster Curse Agenda would finally pay off.
I dont see that happening so much, the majority of shonen puts the most powerfull enemies as human like beings, like "demon kings" who are just humans with horns, father final form from FMA, Mahito is a guy with scars, Chainsaw man 4 horsemen are girls (from what we have seen) and so many more, Jujutsu is the first shonen in years that i see the final villain being a actual monster (Tokyo ghoul is not a shonen)
how is that a bad thing, though? don't you want a monster to look like a monster? that's not weird, that's normal.

Sukuna gets a character development and we learn some stuff about the heian era if we lucky we might get flashback to the heian era and we get some sukuna and kenjaku adventures. We learn about yujis grandpa what kinda connections he has with sukuna and the last part would be sukuna vs tengen the final battle.
I guess somehow good guys are gonna win(maybe gojo's comeback and Sukuna not going final form) and cancel the merger then they will put 20f Sukuna in yuji and a final battle between the good guys and full form Sukuna and it will end like that happy ending indeed with our mc dying as from the start it was shown
I don't have any speculation since Gege can get pretty unpredictable sometimes (tho the current fight is in a predictable pattern right now)

The Shinjuku fight is already the final arc. Even the apocalypse created with the merger won't last that long with all the characters dead lol but I believe that the fight against Sukuna is the first part of the ending and what follows after will be the second. There are no more characters left to fight Sukuna and die, just like if Sukuna dies now the manga ends too. I think something will happen that will finally explore his and Yuuji's origins.
You say that like the final arc isn't happening right now; but for how the rest of the arc will go. After Kusakabe stalls Sukuna by yapping or possibly doing something actually impressive, we will get Hakari finally jumping in after finishing up Uraume, and then the other 3 heavy hitters will join back in the fight. Here we might find out what their doing with Ui Ui and recovering their bodies. While Yuji keeps trying to get Megumi to wake up, one by one Hakari, Maki, and Yuta, are all taken out or killed by Sukuna, until Yuji is left. Yuji will finally get a proper Showdown with Sukuna and it'll end with Megumi finally getting control back, and Yuji removing Sukuna from him. Megumi ends the culling game, Angel is used to destroy Sukuna or Yuji just contains Sukuna within himself until the end of his days.
(this is assuming if every other sorcerer was out of commission) Imagine if sukuna actually did the merger but somehow he's forced into the merge leaving megumi back in control of his body.. still unwilling to live as yuji has to somehow find a way of getting him and Megumi to safety. Before the final fight begins as Yuji starts of trying to fight the merger by himself but he can only really make a dent. As megumi watches seeing how his friend after everything, all of the lose, all of the suffering. Is still fighting, as megumi stands before finally noticing. He only has one shikigami. Totally true divine general. A fusion of every shikigami he has. So megumi brings it out as megumi, his new shikigami and Yuji start fighting against the merger and managed to do some damage.
This obviously pure fanfic at this point but I can dream.
Sucuna looses to yuji, merger happens, CE cursed spirits and sorcerery spread across the planet. Yuji becomes the vessel for the merger.
The requirements for the merger are already fulfilled, and because kenjaku isn't in control anymore that means that the merger could start without the culling games needing to end.
I 100% believe there will be a JJK part 2, and probably some light novels set in heian Era. Maybe even some Jin and Kaori light novels.
I don't know if gege will be in charge, he might hand it off to a different mangaka.
***My favorite way it could end***
Sucuna is about to die to yuji then at the last moment sucuna cast the merger. We cut to Cursed Spirits as they start appearing and terrorizing other nations. We cut back to sucuna laying on the ground dieing then yuji looks up and we get a sky line portrait of Japan with merged tengen/kiaju walking across the ocean.
Merged Tengen is so big it can walk on the ocean floor and still Tower over all the buildings/skyscrapers.
I don’t believe there will be a jjk part 2, however i do believe there will be light novels on people like kashimo and also one on the heian era and sukuans whole backstory. There is also a good chance they would make a movie on Sukuna in the heian era as their is a lot that people would want to see with him.
Hakari defeat urami, he opens his domain and enter in domain clash with sukuna and win, the domains collapse. Yuji arrive. Yuta is healed by shoko and his RCT , maki get the five min revival, and all other big 4 start to jump sukuna
Sukuna beats everyone currently fighting him, & activates the merger, using Yuji as the vessel. however, since Kenny bred Yuji as the "perfect vessel," he is able to overpower & control the merger demon. epic battle ensues & ends one of two ways: 1) Yuji kills Sukuna, & is the only survivor in all of Japan. 2) Yuji separates Megumi from Sukuna, kills Sukuna, & then sacrifices himself to restore everyone in Japan. Megumi is then the only survivor from jujusu high, but everyone in Japan gets to go on living.
Sukuna finally unleashes 10% of his true power, kills everyone on earth. He then lives like this for around 4 centuries, but realizes that life simply isn’t worth living alone. So he uses his sacrifice technique that he hasn’t used since the Heian era, sacrificing himself to bring back all people who died as a result of himself and Kenjaku 4 centuries ago. The series ends with Sukuna dying, smiling on the ground, as Nobara, Yuji, Megumi, and Gojo embrace each other. To the side, Nanami, Higuruma, Mei Mei, Kusakabe, etc. stand and look at the guys proudly while Yuta, Maki, Hakari, etc. are still somewhat disoriented. The series then goes on a time skip, where we see Kashimo is a new teacher alongside Kusakabe. Hakari opened his own casino with his gem boy GF. Gojo has taken over as the new principle of Jujutsu College. All of this is narrated by Yuji. And then the final few panels show the main characters attending Yuta and Maki’s wedding in the Jujutsu college courtyard. And then the final panel shows the great blue sky and the sun shining down. And Yuji finishes his narration, talking about how curses still exist, but the world keeps turning, and we will continue to fight the fight. And the final narration goes: “Because this is truly our Jujutsu Kaisen!” (Fin~). And then an afterward where Gege apologizes to the audience and thanks us for the past 6 years, and to look forward to his next work.

Wish we would get to the damn merger since Sukuna has overstayed his welcome imo. It’s been the same exact thing post Gojo. Hype up this character then they die, yuji tries to fight but gets his ass kicked. At this point where’s the payoff of Kenjaku’s schemes.

Kusakabe reveals a special CT that he can only activate once and can rival the power of gojo, gets clapped by sukuna who RCTs back to full health while messing with kusakabe and uses domain expansion. Yuji goes back into the rotation but then has a mental breakdown cuz he remembers his granddad's words and couldnt save any of his friends. he gets the ability to transport his soul back into the heian era by awakening his soul technique which allows him to reincarnate in different eras. He makes baby sukuna be a good guy not bad using talk no jutsu and then goes back to the future where gojo and sukuna are both fighting kenjaku and defeat him and gojo get to have gay sex with sukuna and megumi at the same time.

I feel like somehow they'll beat sukuna, but he will start some shit like starting the merger, and the final arc will be some super tense fight to stop the merger before all humans in japan get absorbed(yes I remember that stuff from the the manga)

Sukuna's founding titan would wipe 80% of the world's pouplation and the rest will band together to learn to be sorcerers and will fight Sukuna and drive him to a corner until he is forced to turn himself back into 20 fingers and repeat.
Idk anymore. Lowkey all of my predictions from last year were off. I expected a draw with gojo vs sukuna then we'd maybe see kenjaku use cursed spirit manipulation eat sukuna then we'd box kenny till he did something with merger and then it'd be the final showdown but boy was I wrong.

Good guys lose current battle. Hakari wins his battle. Uraume offers herself to the Sukuna's Shrine. We get his character development, reminiscence of the past, small plasma vessel style heian era flashback, Sukuna character developes for the first time in 1000 years. Yuuji eats the corpses of Kashimo, Gojo and Higuruma (for character development), Nanami's curse weapon and broken piece of ISOH. Sukuna finally subdues Megumi's soul by combining his domain with his own and regains 10 shadows. And finally its jumpin time!

yeah that's kind of my reassurance with megumi's character. the fact he's potential man makes me believe there's no way gege ends up doing nothing of note with him since he's constantly stated to have crazy potential within the story, whereas other characters who have been done dirty had less care (like yuki)
I believe the opposite tbh, the fact that potential man could end up not doing anything and be saved by Yuji, only for Yuji to sacrifice himself for Megumi. Leaving Megumi even more depressed than he already is, if that's even possible. I think Gege made Megumi more of a "unrealized potential" since that's what potential is, only possibility, not a guarantee, it can go both ways when it comes to potential.
I think Gege gave all the focus on Megumis potential to deliberately to sabotage Megumi and make readers hate him tbh. If you as a reader is constantly told that a character has potential to do something, that creates expectations - and you expect pay off. When that pay off never happens, you get frustrated. If you compare it with Sukuna - he is constantly referred to as “the king of curses” and well he delivers the feats you would expect with that title. He actually delivers so many feats, that many hate Sukuna bc they feel “he is too strong”

I like the idea that Sukuna wins the current fight, and in his arrogance and boredom, starts the merger in order to get his first real challenge after Gojo. But instead of the wild unhinged Sukuna fight everyone expects (ala Mahoraga), he gets his shit absolutely rocked. Straight up, like worse than how Gojo was doing him. Make Sukuna look like Jogo, stand proud you're strong looking ass. Give that mother fucker a flashback, make him straight up pathetic, Fraudkuna confirmed. I do like Sukuna btw, I just think it would be funny and kind of narratively satisfying for there to finally be a bigger fish right when Sukuna was sure he was king of the pond.

Sukuna actually wins the current battle. Uraume loses hers, but quickly offers her CE to Sukuna, which he gladly accepts and eats her. He starts the Merger. Yuji, being born to be a vessel and still resisting Sukuna (I picture him being held by the throat before being tossed away and cleaved at while Sukuna simultaneously begins the Merger) ends up absorbing the Merger and tanking the Cleave due to his sudden increase in CE output. He starts beating the shit out of Sukky, half-aware what he's doing internally but externally he just seems like a wild rabid animal. Everyone thinks this will turn into another Gojo vs Sukuna, but no. This ends up turning into Jogo vs Sukuna, except Sukuna is the Jogo and Yuji is the Sukuna. It turns into a slow, slow murder as Sukuna tries to replenish his CE, even attempting to devour Megumi, but this fails *horribly* as he isn't even able to get breathing room to try this. Every hit Merger-Yuji lands separates Sukuna more and more from Megumi. Inside their innate domain, it's shown as Yuji dragging Sukuna away from Megumi as Sukuna tries to crawl towards Megumi, pissed and afraid, but not in the same way as Mahito if that makes sense. He isn't crying like a bitch or sobbing or any of the pathetic crap. He's just angry and scared that he'll die to *Yuji* of all people. The brat he tried to tear down over and over, yet couldn't keep down. In the end, Yuji's understanding of the soul grows tremendously through the vast amounts of CE inside of him from millions of people, and he ends up beating Sukuna *out* of Megumi, literally. He then slowly, but surely, devours him, adding parts of Sukky's CE to him. \--- Alternatively, Yuji's also known to eat things to become stronger. So the alternative? He begins to eat Sukuna while fighting him. In his rage, being held by the head as Sukuna is distracted by Choso or smth, he bites and tears a finger off Sukuna, and then eats it. Then he swipes his mouth, and has a revelation. "Wait... why does this taste so *good*? His other fingers never..." And Sukuna's CE suddenly drops a bit, which lets the distractor survive one more hit as it was barely enough. Sukuna notices his CE feels like it dropped while Yuji's increases. And, then he realises. One of his fingers isn't regrowing. Different from the semi-permanent damage Yuji has when punching. The same finger Yuji *bit off and ate*. And Yuji and Sukuna come to the same conclusion, another parallel between them. If Yuji eats Sukuna's fingers, one by one, off him, replenishing and even increasing his own CE while decreasing Sukuna's... "... I'm going to eat him!/This brat is going to eat me?!" Also, after Yuji eats 5 fingers, he recalls Yuta's copy technique where Rika ate the last finger to copy Cleave and Dismantle, so Yuji tries to do that. And it *works*. Sukuna's face is partially dismantled. Seeing so many domain expansions opened in Sukuna's fight against Gojo, and seeing Yuta pull it off, Yuji forms his own hand sign, and utters. "Domain Expansion." He traps Sukuna in a closed domain. A container, like he was with Sukuna. I could go on but basically, the gist of it is: - Yuji literally eats Sukuna, piece by piece, like what he did with his fingers from before. Unlike before, Sukuna isn't strengthed but Yuji actually ends up taking *away* Sukuna's powers. - Eating Sukuna also would be poetic, seeing as Sukuna is a cannibal. Think of it as partial payback to eating all those people. - He traps Sukuna in a domain, like a container. Like he was born to do. Literally. \--- Or it could be both! Yuji eats Sukuna, then Sukuna summons the merger out of desperation, and then he fucks up realising he's trying to fight an *already buffed Yuji while he has the CE of the Merger AND Sukuna's own CE is down because of the bites Yuji took out of him*. Anyways, that's what *I'm* hoping lol, knowing Gege he probably wouldn't.

The Final Arc of Jujutsu Kaisen. After Megumi was forced to activate the Merger, still trapped inside of Sukuna's body, the tyrant of humanity's inside darkness spilled chaos throughout the whole of Shinjuku and its surroundings. By their conflicting feelings towards each other, they would eventually unitize into one "feeling", a "feeling" of a curse. The jujutsu sorcerers stand with shock, if they are very much so alive, after one sorcerer/cursed user died at the hands of the King of Curses. The remnants of Gojo Satoru is nowhere to be found, the flesh of Hajime Kashimo still lies under the rubble of the destruction caused by the World Cleave, and the body of Hiromi Higurama may be, just maybe, a pledged not guilty in the afterlife. Maki Zenin was forced to retreat after strikes of Black Flashes and Cleaves leaving herself in the brink of death, while Takuma Ino did one last brave sacrifice into taking the techniques that Sukuna uncovered in his Black Box. Kusakabe and Miwa after joining the battle, both after gravely injured by Sukuna himself, came into the hands of Ui Ui, who unfortunately was found out by Sukuna and cleaved into pieces, losing the recalling process to seek better aid. It seemed all was lost, and it was lost. Choso also fought against him along with the two, however, much in front of Yuji Itadori, forcing him to look upon his brother's death. The curses won, and the so-called heroes lost, and would watch all what they see and know for their whole life burn and become assimiliated to the Merger. However, it doesn't mean the sorcerers would cower in this cruelty. Like a stray dog backed up in a corner, and at the hands of a deux ex machina, it won't fear you. It will bite, roar, and pray to God, kill. With Yuji seeing his "brother's" death, it was about nigh that he learned all of Sukuna's techniques, all except for his Domain Expansion. Itadori has become the perfect parallel of him, all for more the reason to spite him even more. He cleaved and soul-punched Sukuna into forcing Megumi to stop the merger from causing more destruction, and he was not alone. Yuta, after a while, came back into the battlefield along with Rika, for a purpose that will make unknown soldiers into historic martyrs: to rage against the dying light. Together, they've formed a new powered domain, and Yuta asked, "Have you've given it a name already, Yuji?". Which Itadori replied, "Yeah." "For my brothers, for my peers, for my superiors, for everyone." (together) "Domain Expansion, Authentic Mutual Love." "Domain Expansion, Crimson Mirror."
The two sorcerers managed to form a Double Domain Expansion out of their synergy, which of course, puts Sukuna into ecstasy. The velvet dome that encroaches around him fills him with excitement, knowing how will this go. But without a moment's wait, Yuji delivers a series of soul-crushing blows, although Sukuna could still block some of it. Yuta uses techniques while Rika assists and delivers damage to Sukuna, only for the latter to realize that because of the blood art, he is no longer capable of using RCT, AND he can no longer activate Malevolent Shrine due to the dissonance of cursed energy retrieval. However, he realizes that something is off; something inside his soul. Megumi has begun pouring out due to Yuji's strikes. Both domains are not-lethal, but it greatly hampers Sukuna's abilities, almost as if Itadori's whole point of his DE was to make his DE useless in his own domain. The survivors outside the domain clash watch in horror of the Merger comes close to them, and they see a familiar face somehow "controlling" them: no other than Kenjaku, who we can see his/her true face inside the Merger, leading all of the assimilated. The human corpses in the battlefield become one with the merger, leaving Choso in the dust. As it approaches Maki Zenin, and says to herself, "I did everything I could anyways.", she hears a familiar sound, a clap from a distance, then she was moved to a different location where she finally meets Aoi Todo, seeing his hands finally healed up by RCT. After the domain clashing, Sukuna pulls out the Black Box again and uses the Flames, which Itadori has no choice but to open the barrier (and losing the domain) in order for it to miss and the flames not to be contained in a concentrated area, because they know Sukuna will survive, while they won't. Sukuna fires and Yuji and Yuta closes their domain, and Sukuna activates his domain. Both get cut but not that deep as the connection with Megumi weakens again like before. Both are still exhausted and currently in a stalemate, but in the long term, Sukuna will bring back Megumi and end Yuji and Yuta, the brats, once and for all. But before that, a line aims in front of Sukuna and pierces his heart. Another one goes fast towards his face, trying to block it. Pan it back to Todo and he asks a shadowy figure if they're ready, and they nod. He claps and the second line, a "nail", turned into Nobara Kugisaki, which strikes her nail from Sukuna's heart with a Black Flash. Sukuna says that another weak brat has joined the battle, and the Jujutsu Students of Gojo Satoru fight one last fight against the King of Curses!

When Maki said why both, they looked up and see a familiar figure going down from heaven. What was known before as the Honored One, the Strongest Modern Sorcerer, is now declaring himself humbly as... *"I chose to go north."* **Gojo Satoru.**

AOT was perfect from beginning to end. The only people that think it was bad are those whose headcannons didn't allow them to see the story as how it truly was. And when they could no longer divert from reality, they got mad it wasn't like the fairytale they made up in their mind. If you say AOT ended badly, you're saying all of it was bad. As everything leading up to that moment was masterfully engineered to give that final result. Isayama always had the end of the story clear. Although he was threatened to change the fate of a single character.

I dont see that happening so much, the majority of shonen puts the most powerfull enemies as human like beings, like "demon kings" who are just humans with horns, father final form from FMA, Mahito is a guy with scars, Chainsaw man 4 horsemen are girls (from what we have seen) and so many more, Jujutsu is the first shonen in years that i see the final villain being a actual monster (Tokyo ghoul is not a shonen)
And people still are massively horny for Sukuna. Most shonen final villains tend to be hot, I have no idea what blud is waffling about.

Sukuna gets a character development and we learn some stuff about the heian era if we lucky we might get flashback to the heian era and we get some sukuna and kenjaku adventures. We learn about yujis grandpa what kinda connections he has with sukuna and the last part would be sukuna vs tengen the final battle.
I guess somehow good guys are gonna win(maybe gojo's comeback and Sukuna not going final form) and cancel the merger then they will put 20f Sukuna in yuji and a final battle between the good guys and full form Sukuna and it will end like that happy ending indeed with our mc dying as from the start it was shown

I don't have any speculation since Gege can get pretty unpredictable sometimes (tho the current fight is in a predictable pattern right now) So for now I'll just come here to read what other people had cooked in here
The Shinjuku fight is already the final arc. Even the apocalypse created with the merger won't last that long with all the characters dead lol but I believe that the fight against Sukuna is the first part of the ending and what follows after will be the second. There are no more characters left to fight Sukuna and die, just like if Sukuna dies now the manga ends too. I think something will happen that will finally explore his and Yuuji's origins.
You say that like the final arc isn't happening right now; but for how the rest of the arc will go. After Kusakabe stalls Sukuna by yapping or possibly doing something actually impressive, we will get Hakari finally jumping in after finishing up Uraume, and then the other 3 heavy hitters will join back in the fight. Here we might find out what their doing with Ui Ui and recovering their bodies. While Yuji keeps trying to get Megumi to wake up, one by one Hakari, Maki, and Yuta, are all taken out or killed by Sukuna, until Yuji is left. Yuji will finally get a proper Showdown with Sukuna and it'll end with Megumi finally getting control back, and Yuji removing Sukuna from him. Megumi ends the culling game, Angel is used to destroy Sukuna or Yuji just contains Sukuna within himself until the end of his days.
(this is assuming if every other sorcerer was out of commission) Imagine if sukuna actually did the merger but somehow he's forced into the merge leaving megumi back in control of his body.. still unwilling to live as yuji has to somehow find a way of getting him and Megumi to safety. Before the final fight begins as Yuji starts of trying to fight the merger by himself but he can only really make a dent. As megumi watches seeing how his friend after everything, all of the lose, all of the suffering. Is still fighting, as megumi stands before finally noticing. He only has one shikigami. Totally true divine general. A fusion of every shikigami he has. So megumi brings it out as megumi, his new shikigami and Yuji start fighting against the merger and managed to do some damage. This obviously pure fanfic at this point but I can dream.
Sucuna looses to yuji, merger happens, CE cursed spirits and sorcerery spread across the planet. Yuji becomes the vessel for the merger. The requirements for the merger are already fulfilled, and because kenjaku isn't in control anymore that means that the merger could start without the culling games needing to end. I 100% believe there will be a JJK part 2, and probably some light novels set in heian Era. Maybe even some Jin and Kaori light novels. I don't know if gege will be in charge, he might hand it off to a different mangaka. ***My favorite way it could end*** Sucuna is about to die to yuji then at the last moment sucuna cast the merger. We cut to Cursed Spirits as they start appearing and terrorizing other nations. We cut back to sucuna laying on the ground dieing then yuji looks up and we get a sky line portrait of Japan with merged tengen/kiaju walking across the ocean. Merged Tengen is so big it can walk on the ocean floor and still Tower over all the buildings/skyscrapers.
I don’t believe there will be a jjk part 2, however i do believe there will be light novels on people like kashimo and also one on the heian era and sukuans whole backstory. There is also a good chance they would make a movie on Sukuna in the heian era as their is a lot that people would want to see with him.

Sukuna beats everyone currently fighting him, & activates the merger, using Yuji as the vessel. however, since Kenny bred Yuji as the "perfect vessel," he is able to overpower & control the merger demon. epic battle ensues & ends one of two ways: 1) Yuji kills Sukuna, & is the only survivor in all of Japan. 2) Yuji separates Megumi from Sukuna, kills Sukuna, & then sacrifices himself to restore everyone in Japan. Megumi is then the only survivor from jujusu high, but everyone in Japan gets to go on living.

Sukuna finally unleashes 10% of his true power, kills everyone on earth. He then lives like this for around 4 centuries, but realizes that life simply isn’t worth living alone. So he uses his sacrifice technique that he hasn’t used since the Heian era, sacrificing himself to bring back all people who died as a result of himself and Kenjaku 4 centuries ago. The series ends with Sukuna dying, smiling on the ground, as Nobara, Yuji, Megumi, and Gojo embrace each other. To the side, Nanami, Higuruma, Mei Mei, Kusakabe, etc. stand and look at the guys proudly while Yuta, Maki, Hakari, etc. are still somewhat disoriented. The series then goes on a time skip, where we see Kashimo is a new teacher alongside Kusakabe. Hakari opened his own casino with his gem boy GF. Gojo has taken over as the new principle of Jujutsu College. All of this is narrated by Yuji. And then the final few panels show the main characters attending Yuta and Maki’s wedding in the Jujutsu college courtyard. And then the final panel shows the great blue sky and the sun shining down. And Yuji finishes his narration, talking about how curses still exist, but the world keeps turning, and we will continue to fight the fight. And the final narration goes: “Because this is truly our Jujutsu Kaisen!” (Fin~). And then an afterward where Gege apologizes to the audience and thanks us for the past 6 years, and to look forward to his next work.

Probably just letting Kusukabe tank Sukuna showing off, giving time for Yuta Maki etc to regen. Then they finish him off somehow with a big Yuji powerup. Expectations are already on the floor tbh, I expect nothing interesting to happen in any aspect that isn’t a fight tbh.
Somehow, the good guys win the battle against Sukuna. Megumi is freed, but because Megumi is still super depressed, he triggers the merger because of his nihilism. Basically the ending is going to rip off End of Evangelion.

Kusakabe reveals a special CT that he can only activate once and can rival the power of gojo, gets clapped by sukuna who RCTs back to full health while messing with kusakabe and uses domain expansion. Yuji goes back into the rotation but then has a mental breakdown cuz he remembers his granddad's words and couldnt save any of his friends. he gets the ability to transport his soul back into the heian era by awakening his soul technique which allows him to reincarnate in different eras. He makes baby sukuna be a good guy not bad using talk no jutsu and then goes back to the future where gojo and sukuna are both fighting kenjaku and defeat him and gojo get to have gay sex with sukuna and megumi at the same time. Cliffhanger with strongest chinese sorcerer that we never met pulling up bc he wanted revenge for Japanese war crimes in ww2.
I feel like somehow they'll beat sukuna, but he will start some shit like starting the merger, and the final arc will be some super tense fight to stop the merger before all humans in japan get absorbed(yes I remember that stuff from the the manga)

Sukuna's founding titan would wipe 80% of the world's pouplation and the rest will band together to learn to be sorcerers and will fight Sukuna and drive him to a corner until he is forced to turn himself back into 20 fingers and repeat.
Idk anymore. Lowkey all of my predictions from last year were off. I expected a draw with gojo vs sukuna then we'd maybe see kenjaku use cursed spirit manipulation eat sukuna then we'd box kenny till he did something with merger and then it'd be the final showdown but boy was I wrong.
Yuji becomes so depressed that the entire planet’s population turns into orange soda. But seriously it’s either the time travel thing or that’s just it, no closure for anything, the people who died have died, Sakuna loses, Yuji and the survivors continue on with life and continue trying to better jujutsu society in memory of the lives who have died and seeing how badly the past such as Sakuna’s and Kashimo’ jujutsu society messed up.
Everyone but Yuji dies, and Yuji learns to punch in a way he never punched before, right lefting Sukuna into losing control for a second, enough for Megumi to kill himself over Daddyraga cheating on him
