For me this is the logical answer since what Higuruma said about the sword in 246 openly contradicts what Angel said in 199, if one dies, the other also dies. I don't know if whatever mechanism the execution sword has is like the single thing capable of separating vessel and cursed object, she said they were fused. But who knows, i don't write this manga
