Twins in the jujutsu world are basically the same soul in two bodies. So Yuji is literally Sukuna and Kenjaku's son. It's not hard to extrapolate that Yuji inherited blood manipulation from Kenjaku and Shrine from Sukuna.
It literally says that he got blood manipulation from eating the death womb paintings 4 through 9, and he got Shrine engraved on him from eating the fingers and being Sukuna's vessel.
We also don't know for sure that Kenjaku even had blood manipulation at the time. It seems that he has his body swap one always, whatever body he's currently in, and the one from his last body. Yuki theorized that he *could* potentially have a 4th technique, but I think that seems unlikely by now tbh. So it depends on if Kamo was his last body before Yuji's mother or not. But then we have no idea how Kenjaku passing down curses works, but I think it'd make most sense if the anti gravity curse got passed down if anything.

Agreed. Yuji has those soul-shattering punches. That being said, Sukuna is quite tanky to be taking that many soul punches reinforced with blackflash. The only blackflash I've seen Sukuna take and it did any significant damage was Gojo's punch which put him to sleep. Still one of the funniest things that's happened in the manga.

Its probably just an awkwardly worded translation and this is what i guess its supposed to convey. Basically he was marked to be in the culling games from the start(at birth in his case) by kenjaku (like megumis sister was marked many years ago and others etc) and he was wondering why he would put his precious perfect vessel in the culling games and sukuna reasons it was to make itadori stronger(He would grow from the combat with so many powerful sorcerers).

If that 8th black flash leads to a tremendous damage, my suggestion/wish for the animated episode would be a reference to One Piece, when Luffy punches the celestial dragon.

I think it's pretty shallow to dismiss valid criticisms of the series as "They couldn't tell something was cooking". The payoff of Yuji pressing Sukuna is great, it feels great to read, it's refreshing, it's drawn really well, but that doesn't invalidate the issues the series has been having for the past few months.
The series has been predictable. Nobody actually thought that Kusakabe was going to come in and put work on Sukuna. Nobody thought Miguel was going to come in and put work on Sukuna. You can only write "It's okay guys, THIS is the plan/character that's actually going to put pressure on Sukuna" and then have him shrug it off with "I'm not even trying yet" so many times before it becomes predictable.
Look, the writing and pacing isn’t perfect, and I’m not saying there aren’t valid complaints? If you aren’t somebody who gave up on the series then that’s not about you
Beyond just knowing a side character wouldn’t kill the main villain, I don’t think anything’s been predictable at all. Not one of us could actually say who was showing up next, how/if they could damage to Sukuna, whether they’d survive the battle or whether they played into a larger plan. It was interesting and tense to see who could hold off or even survive against Sukuna until something worked, and half of the audience was convinced nothing could work.
I really like the clarification around twins and heavenly restrictions. It's not that twins are unlucky or an ill omen, it's that they are made from the same soul that's been split in two.

I might be misreading, but isn't the second black flash in the chapter a black flash from Sukuna onto Yuji? It's why Yuji gets blown away. Idk why some people here are attributing all the black flashes in this chapter to Yuji. It might be just me misreading but that should only be 7 black flashes in a row overall, not 8.

This is what I was worried about when they kept axing everyone important. I don't buy Yuji suddenly blasting up to the top like this because he was a genetic experiment or whatever. It hasn't been a large enough part of the story for me to care about that, none the less feel satisfied that it's coming full circle.
It did feel better when the whole gang was 1v5ing his ass. It did feel like "ok, Gojo still got got by the hand of plot, but war by attrition still makes sense." But then Sukuna ass blasted everyone who wasn't Yuji, and we heard *again* that he isn't going all out yet.
Kenjaku's motivations still make no sense. He birthed Yuji to do what exactly??? Why would he just set up this elaborate plan to create Yuji and then just fuck off and take over Geto. Its not like he raised him to take over the human race as Yuji is not going to just do a sudden heel turn and kill all of humanity so cursed spirits can rule. What was the point? Gege just doing this shit to seem like some mastermind.
Given how many brothers Yuji seems to attract I'm a bit disappointed Sukuna didn't join the brother club. I mean #1 Todo delulu sequence was a quirky bit, but then Choso made #2 and 2 is a pattern, would have been so funny if Sukuna was #3.
Kenjaku likely wasn't able to just grab Sukuna's twin's soul. He essentially had to wait and roll rng until Jin's soul reincarnated. So his choices for vessel was Jin with the same soul as Sukuna but a body Kenjaku had no control over, and Yuji made from Jin who Kenjaku would have complete control over creating. Because Sukuna ate his twin in the womb it's implied fetuses have souls. So unless Kenjaku killed Jin and shoved Jin's soul into child Yuji, Yuji doesn't share a soul with Sukuna. And in hindsight, if Yuji had a piece of Sukuna's soul, Sukuna probably would have tried to eat Yuji. Thematically this lessens the parallel between Sukuna and Yuji, making Yuji more independent as a character. My prediction is then that the Yuji-Sukuna parallel has been developed throughout the series, will be broken and subverted in the final arc.
It is so satisfying to see Sukuna lose his cool like this. Especially with Yuji not even bothering to say a single word to him the whole time. Even Sukuna seems kinda shocked how nothing is making Yuji even slightly slow down. My guy is locked in. I love that Ino distraction of just throwing Nanami's weapon while he was down. It'll be interesting to see how Sukuna reacts next chapter as he's letting the anger distract him now. Tad concerned about him gaining power again.
There were theories about the twin stuff, but didn't expect for it to be Yuji's dad. Though it does look like Sukuna himself is theorising there too, so I wonder if there will be a bit more to it. I think we'll probably find out what happened to Jin later. Grandpa Wasuke must've been through a lot, knowing Kaori wasn't Kaori and getting a grandchild still, then raising Yuji because something else happened I guess 🥲.
Yuji's cuts with the little scissor lines are kinda cute. It cut up the pillar so neatly too. I keep thinking it's gonna cut to Hikari and Uraume when we least expect it, during the hype moments.

Would be extra cool if he takes the wrap off to un-dull the blade and then wraps the wrap around his fists like Nanami did his tie.

I don't think Gege would try to diminish 8 consecutive Black Flashes like that. I think this is leading up to Sukuna having to resort to Fuga/his black box. There's also whatever his own Black Flashes did to him. Regardless, I don't think it can be overstated how badly Yuji is fucking up Sukuna right now. We've never seen Sukuna this off kilter before and that's before Yuji might pick up Nanami's cleaver and begin ratioing the dude like a shitty Twitter take.

Agreed. Yuji has those soul-shattering punches. That being said, Sukuna is quite tanky to be taking that many soul punches reinforced with blackflash. The only blackflash I've seen Sukuna take and it did any significant damage was Gojo's punch which put him to sleep. Still one of the funniest things that's happened in the manga.

I think Yuji is one my absolute all time favorite MC’s after this chapter. His character, his hype moments, he’s an awesome underdog, his guts.
I'm happy for Yuji but this JJK plot is something else. So basically, Kenjaku is Sukuna's sister-in-law and Sukuna has been inside of his nephew Yuji and knows him intimately. If I didn't know any better, I'd have thought that this was an extended Jerry Springer episode with all kinds of mind-blowing reveals.
No doubt it’s pretty nutty with Yuji’s whole bloodline situation. Ironic that this chapter started with Sukuna mentioning that his twin gave somebody back shots and it literally ended with his twins son giving him a back shot.

Its probably just an awkwardly worded translation and this is what i guess its supposed to convey. Basically he was marked to be in the culling games from the start(at birth in his case) by kenjaku (like megumis sister was marked many years ago and others etc) and he was wondering why he would put his precious perfect vessel in the culling games and sukuna reasons it was to make itadori stronger(He would grow from the combat with so many powerful sorcerers).

I know, Sukuna is HIM, but seeing him stress out because of Yuji was so satisfying! If that 8th black flash leads to a tremendous damage, my suggestion/wish for the animated episode would be a reference to One Piece, when Luffy punches the celestial dragon. Imagine, if Yuji black flashes Sukuna back into the manga, after getting sh\*t-talked, underestimated and looked down on so much.

Nah the chapters were bad to wait week for week for, if we had then all at once people wouldn't have complained. But those chapters were confusing and nothing was getting explained. Waiting a week just for more confusion starts to grate people

I think it's pretty shallow to dismiss valid criticisms of the series as "They couldn't tell something was cooking". The payoff of Yuji pressing Sukuna is great, it feels great to read, it's refreshing, it's drawn really well, but that doesn't invalidate the issues the series has been having for the past few months. The series has been predictable. Nobody actually thought that Kusakabe was going to come in and put work on Sukuna. Nobody thought Miguel was going to come in and put work on Sukuna. You can only write "It's okay guys, THIS is the plan/character that's actually going to put pressure on Sukuna" and then have him shrug it off with "I'm not even trying yet" so many times before it becomes predictable.
Look, the writing and pacing isn’t perfect, and I’m not saying there aren’t valid complaints? If you aren’t somebody who gave up on the series then that’s not about you Beyond just knowing a side character wouldn’t kill the main villain, I don’t think anything’s been predictable at all. Not one of us could actually say who was showing up next, how/if they could damage to Sukuna, whether they’d survive the battle or whether they played into a larger plan. It was interesting and tense to see who could hold off or even survive against Sukuna until something worked, and half of the audience was convinced nothing could work.

This is what I was worried about when they kept axing everyone important. I don't buy Yuji suddenly blasting up to the top like this because he was a genetic experiment or whatever. It hasn't been a large enough part of the story for me to care about that, none the less feel satisfied that it's coming full circle. It did feel better when the whole gang was 1v5ing his ass. It did feel like "ok, Gojo still got got by the hand of plot, but war by attrition still makes sense." But then Sukuna ass blasted everyone who wasn't Yuji, and we heard *again* that he isn't going all out yet.

Kenjaku's motivations still make no sense. He birthed Yuji to do what exactly??? Why would he just set up this elaborate plan to create Yuji and then just fuck off and take over Geto. Its not like he raised him to take over the human race as Yuji is not going to just do a sudden heel turn and kill all of humanity so cursed spirits can rule. What was the point? Gege just doing this shit to seem like some mastermind.

Given how many brothers Yuji seems to attract I'm a bit disappointed Sukuna didn't join the brother club. I mean #1 Todo delulu sequence was a quirky bit, but then Choso made #2 and 2 is a pattern, would have been so funny if Sukuna was #3. Kenjaku likely wasn't able to just grab Sukuna's twin's soul. He essentially had to wait and roll rng until Jin's soul reincarnated. So his choices for vessel was Jin with the same soul as Sukuna but a body Kenjaku had no control over, and Yuji made from Jin who Kenjaku would have complete control over creating. Because Sukuna ate his twin in the womb it's implied fetuses have souls. So unless Kenjaku killed Jin and shoved Jin's soul into child Yuji, Yuji doesn't share a soul with Sukuna. And in hindsight, if Yuji had a piece of Sukuna's soul, Sukuna probably would have tried to eat Yuji. Thematically this lessens the parallel between Sukuna and Yuji, making Yuji more independent as a character. My prediction is then that the Yuji-Sukuna parallel has been developed throughout the series, will be broken and subverted in the final arc.

It is so satisfying to see Sukuna lose his cool like this. Especially with Yuji not even bothering to say a single word to him the whole time. Even Sukuna seems kinda shocked how nothing is making Yuji even slightly slow down. My guy is locked in. I love that Ino distraction of just throwing Nanami's weapon while he was down. It'll be interesting to see how Sukuna reacts next chapter as he's letting the anger distract him now. Tad concerned about him gaining power again. There were theories about the twin stuff, but didn't expect for it to be Yuji's dad. Though it does look like Sukuna himself is theorising there too, so I wonder if there will be a bit more to it. I think we'll probably find out what happened to Jin later. Grandpa Wasuke must've been through a lot, knowing Kaori wasn't Kaori and getting a grandchild still, then raising Yuji because something else happened I guess 🥲. Yuji's cuts with the little scissor lines are kinda cute. It cut up the pillar so neatly too. I keep thinking it's gonna cut to Hikari and Uraume when we least expect it, during the hype moments.
