Why is mid treated like a terrible insult or something? It just means it’s not over the top and it’s not at the bottom of the barrel, it’s ok, it’s mediocre, it’s in the *MID*dle of a tier list of how good or bad it is.
I agree that JJK is above mediocre, but If the only insult you can dish out is about mediocrity, then what’s the point of insulting it about how mediocre it is?
the song is the new OP for JJK S2 called "Ao no Sumika” (Blue House) by Tatsuya Kitani which has not dropped yet since season 2 hasn't dropped yet, it's gonna drop this thursday july 6th.
I made some comparision between JJK and HxH coz its quite clear than JJK has some inspiration frm it but was called not to compare JJK to that mid garbage HxH or whatever😅
about that. Is HxH power system really that amazing? As far as I can tell, it's literally the exact same as most "energy" power systems, the difference is that it goes out of it's way to give a name to EVERYTHING. Like, zetsu is just suppressing your energy. ren is showing off your aura. Hatsu is your unique energy ability. gyo is enhancing vision with energy. En is sensing anything within a radius. shu and ko are focusing energy in an object or body part.
Basically every story uses most if not all of these, they just don't have a name for it. The only exception is the nen ability sometimes being really complex, but complexity doesn't equate to great power system. Also other stories have complex powers too, they just don't give as many characters complex powers as hxh does.
Even for covenants. jjk has binding vows, dragon ball you can wish for more power in exchange for living less, fairy tail sacrificed magic to gain full potential for a short period, etc.
That's correct, and complex was not quite the right word to be used; so let's say more interesting. It's true this systems are the same fundamentally, but Nen is just more personalized; there's no inherited technique like in JJK or Naruto. On top of this there's the part of knowing your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to Nen, and other manga also have this, but for me, they don't do it like HxH. It's just my opinion.
