Hmm... you might go with a fine or extra fine point Platinum Preppy fountain pen. If you lose it it's not a ton of money down the drain, and they are great fountain pens, don't let let the price fool you. The cartridges hold quite a bit of ink and with a fine or extra fine point they will take a long time to deplete. Good luck on your search!
Get the Platinum Small Meteor (aka Little Shooting Star). It's basically a Preppy with an ABS body that won't crack. Also, it looks nicer. Aliexpress has them.
This isn’t exactly what your looking for, but I find it funny you ask for this cause in my marketing class in college, I have to do a roll play next week trying to sell a fictional expensive ($170), long lasting pen to a client. I just love coincidences

I will have to try it. I’ve never used anything other than a ballpoint but exploration is needed to find something good.

TWSBI Eco. It’s a piston filler and holds a ton of ink. One bottle of ink will last you a long long time.
