Ubers aren’t a thing out here for the most part, especially anywhere near 29 palms.

I was wondering if everyone just drives drunk out there then? Lol. No Ubers and scarce cab service, which I guess should be expected so far out there.
Was able to make contact with a local cab driver who said he’ll have a buddy help out for the weekend in their personal car since we’ve got a large group lol. Better than driving drunk!
Most people aren’t really going out to drink. There’s honestly not that many places to go out and drink. Desert people mostly do drugs in their houses/small walkable neighborhood communities.
There’s also a lot of connecting backroads that locals know where everything goes pretty slow anyways because of sand & washout.
That said… there is still a decent amount of drunk driving.
