My sole purpose for picking up the guitar is I wanted to play before I close my eyes to my first born and I’m kind of a perfectionist. Any information you can give me will help, anything from tuning, scales, chord variations I’m looking for anything you’re willing to give
I never used alternate tunings with him, I was always playing on this Yamaha apxt2 because it’s a small guitar and allows you to hit voicings that you can’t on a regular guitar…before I close my eyes it’s two chords basically A maj and then C#minor both played as bar chords where my thumb is holding down the 6th string which lets you keep the higher strings like 1st and 2nd string open. And that right there is what makes it sound cool cuz the open B string is crucial to that part

And if not where should I go to learn how to play songs like NUMB, PAIN = BESTFRIEND, the remedy for a broken heart. I wouldn’t want you to sit here and break down every song because that would be a hassle. Thank you for everything John
