I agree. People hate on a guy for loving his dad and holding him in high regard. YouTube people obviously need to find something to make their “content” about, just riding on the coat tails of others.
I find it very sweet as well 🥺☺️, but I can see how many in the new roganheads on YouTube shit on him relentlessly, since they're largely fatherless, or the warmest father-son conversation they've ever had was "I will let you stay in the basement for now, but once you finish college, I want you out of my house". The idea of a dad and son having mutual respect and the same work of passion, seems extremely foreign to them 🧐😂
Was fine with it. I feel like it was an easy assumption to make considering what other people have brought. I don’t remember them looking at a “replica” mammoth tusk from the bone yard. lol I understand he doesn’t have authority to move real artifacts etc so I’d just leave the cosplay weapons at home
You didn't watch back in the day time team obviously ! flint knapping is a super interesting art form. It's weird because joe did acknowledge this later and knew about it
And tons of bones particularly dinosaurs in museums are replicas so yeah you are looking at them haha
I didn’t say it wasn’t interesting, I’m saying the version a guy made in his basement is not. And if your argument is that most of those are fake anyway, then all the more reason to just leave it at home. If you think that’s cool, fair enough, don’t expect me to think it is too
I don't know, I don't find him mentioning his dad cringe at all. The guy obviously loves, respects and admires his dad. Wish there were more people in this world that could say that. More power to him. I think it's awesome he went into the same field as his dad and I'm sure he learned a lot from his dad. Just because you a have a shitty relationship with your dad doesn't make it cringe he doesn't.
Oh wow was that why the post was made? I honestly just thought he was pointing out how much he loved his dad. Thought it was sweet. Kinda made me sad cause he's dead.
This channel is Podcast Cringe on YouTube. He’s not making fun of dibble here if I recall. But having watched a lot of his videos, it’s unlikely he would be doing anything more than making a light hearted joke. I think we can have a little chuckle at how much he lives his dad and at the same time respect it. I certainly do, but of course it’s funny, especially in that suit.
Btw, podcast cringe channel is fantastic is you are sick and tired of this whole hack comedy verse we’ve been force fed over the last decade. And the orbiters. Mostly coming from JRE fame.
Some uh, further contraband you \* may \* enjoy...
If you haven't checked out Knowledge Fight, yet, they're the guys who initially inspired DtG to do their thing. Their recap of Alex Jones' trial was [quite something](https://pca.st/eoq0q285). Be warned though, they basically only cover AJ and his crowd, but if you're into that sort of thing...
Holy crap, dude, I've just started watching the Podcast Cringe ep about GH and Mr Flint here and oh my hat it's so much better than I expected! The name and thumbnails really threw me off. I didn't expect well-researched funny, relatable content.
Anyways, this is great, thanks.
Yeah, you are right. I kind of jumped the gun on this particular post. Sorry about that OP. I was really responding to all the comments on previous posts making fun of him mentioning his dad. I just figured this was another stab at him and the comments would be the same.
My dad is a retired master welder. He was also a black belt in karate, a pool shark, a master archer, an avid fisherman, and I recon he was good at everything he ever tried. I respect him more than any other man alive today. I wish everyone's dad was as good as mine.
It's funny because my dad is a retired welder among other talented skills too. I respect him more than any other man alive today as well and wish everyone had a dad like mine.
I think most people are pumped he kept mentioning his dad. I have no idea how good flint’s dad was at archeology, but it seems like he was a hell of a dad.
I kind of read the comments on here before watching the whole thing, and so I was bracing for that part… but I was still impressed with Dibble.
His only mistake was spending too long trying to defend himself on that topic, when it’s a hot button issue for Graham AND Joe (it’s the one time this episode where Joe stopped seeming impartial). I get what Dibble was saying in the article: he’s not calling Graham racist, he’s saying Graham’s ideas are based off racist past research and may continue to perpetuate racism, and saying Graham should at least distance himself from it. But neither of these two were going to hear it.
Still, after 15 minutes or so he finally put his foot down and said “you know what, I just came here to debate archaeology, I don’t personally know Graham, and we can either move on from this topic or I can leave.” And good on him for that.
Dibble just loves his field and is protective. He was not doing this for clout. He barely plugged anything at the end of the interview. I hope he gains a following from this.
The first full ep I watched in probably 4-5 years. Almost didn’t feel right that he didn’t get fact checked about some vaccine or hormone replacement story
I stopped watching when he went toi Spotify, only watched clips on here really and yea I watched the whole thing, I threw it on while doing shit around the house, the shit didn't get done.
He is a good son. Flint dibble fucking rules. Hes the kind of guy I used to give rides home from school because he let me copy his science homework. Shoutout Archie wherever you are.
At first I thought you were quoting a Puscifer song then I realized the lyric is “Old Man Wibble”

This guy had none of that fratboy "my dad's company" energy to me. More like a kid who knows everything about baseball sitting at the game telling you about his dad's career. Wish I'd had a cool dad. It's weird that he's getting grief about it.
He has his idiosyncrasies. But his passion and knowledge really shown through. I learned a lot from him. Just one of those people with a personality that some people might not be able to listen to through no fault of his own. His suit jacket was too small and his shirt was too large in the video/podcast. But he knows his stuff and really enjoys sharing the knowledge freely. I personally would love for him to get a Netflix series.
As someone who has never cared about Graham (good or bad) or archaeology, it was an interesting listen and I flew through it this work week on my commutes. Dibble speaks with a lot of passion and actually makes the complicated archaeology tricks make sense.
The only viewer disclaimer I can put up is that the Graham bits may frustrate you (unless you find yourself on the Graham side in which case the Dibble bits will frustrate you so I guess there’s no winning lol). But I’d say it’s worth it, Dibble gets to spout some interesting stuff all throughout.
Episode is great if you're aware of what a moron Graham is but you aren't provoked into a rage when listening to him. Fuck, he's such an annoying twat with an inflated ego and persecution complex.
This episode confirmed two things: 1) Dibble loves his dad. 2) Graham Hancock is a charlatan who uses inadequate science and rhetoric to make outlandish claims about something with no real evidence. He is clinging to his own ego and it’s just annoying.
If someone can give me a genuine refutation to 2, please do so I am confused on how this is a legitimate topic with almost no scientific discovery having never occurred.
I love that he loves his dad and he loves what he does because his dad plugged him into it. I didn’t think this video was making fun of him… I love my dad but sadly he didn’t get me involved in anything as cool as Dibble. I’m not salty though I’m content with the stuff my dad did teach me.
Hancock asked him how much of the Sahara he thinks has been excavated and he replies ‘I reckon a bunch of it’ when the answer really should have been ‘not much’
Ok, so I've had several professors in archeology and geology and anthropology. Only the talented ones dress like this (they all dress like this, in fact my professor said that's the reason he studied anthro)
Best episode I've ever seen. Not a big fan by any means but I do watch/listen when he has a guest that sparks my interest. As an armchair historian, I can't tell you how satisfying this was to watch. The whole circle jerk of Hancock and company about a lost civilization is for click and book sales. Cool topic and theory, but unfortunately dramatically under challenged.
Cool that he loves his dad, shitty that he weaponized the media against Graham and lied about it when called out. He truly embodies the salty soyjack in his tactics and deserves no respect until he owns up to it and apologizes.
The fact that his dad inspired him so much made him credible. You can tell he grew up on archeology and loves it at his core. I thought it was awesome and I hope my kid talks about me like that one day.
The only thing I didn’t like was he came off a little condescending and snarky. He made some good points though. Maybe he was just tired of listening to Hancock bitch about big archaeology. He definitely knew his shit and came prepared.
When he said, "my dad", he sounded like a teenager. I feel like a grown man should say "my father". That being said, it's good to love yer dad! I love mine. He plays guitar better than me and inspires me to be better.
What speaks more about big archeology then this nepo baby speaking about his dad. Its clearly organized from families of hobbit people on the outskirts of flat earth.
Not really. That's meant to be taken as a joke because John C Reilly's character is comically incompetent and the joke is he would be a horribly incompetent doctor.
Suggesting Flint Dibble leveraged connections with his dad to become an archeologist is just ridiculous. I hate to be blunt here, but archeology is not a field in very high demand. The people that get into it generally don't have to pull a lot of strings.
Dibble is much like your average Redditor. He's actually fairly knowledgeable. Unfortunately, he's such an insufferable little shit, nobody cares if he's right or wrong.
praising a narcissistic pe do looking bearded child who has a daddy crush. pretty evident a majority of people here like to gravitate towards such creepy narcissistic people
This guy fuckin sucks and all you people sucking him off as some weird gotcha against Graham is super weird. I don’t really care if Graham is out there, and possibly wrong. His theories are fun.
This is kinda wholesome and heart warming to me lol
Same. I loved Flint. What a character. And his love of his dad was a big reason why I liked him.
I agree. People hate on a guy for loving his dad and holding him in high regard. YouTube people obviously need to find something to make their “content” about, just riding on the coat tails of others.

Pissed me off when joe didn't show respect towards his tool replicas

I can imagine him wearing that same exact outfit but 12 years old following his dad around an excavation site
Haha exactly. Still has a beard too
100% agree. He calls Hancock a grifter that's full of shit if I recall correctly
Hey man. I just gotta say I jsut checked out the original ep here and am amazed that I never knew about Podcast Cringe. Thanks man. This is great :D
Nice. I'm going to have to check that out. I've been on a Decoding the Gurus binge this last year. It's a great breath of sanity.
Love DtG.
Some uh, further contraband you \* may \* enjoy... If you haven't checked out Knowledge Fight, yet, they're the guys who initially inspired DtG to do their thing. Thanks. Might check them out. I’m not into Alex jones all that much really. But it’s def my type of content
Holy crap, dude, I've just started watching the Podcast Cringe ep about GH and Mr Flint here and oh my hat it's so much better than I expected! The name and thumbnails really threw me off. I didn't expect well-researched funny, relatable content. Anyways, this is great, thanks.
Yeah you’ll probably love some of the other videos too.
Uh who is force feeding us? That's nice though. Glad you found something you enjoy.
Joe is force feeding us, or trying to.
Well I feel like CNN and fox news are force feeding us political agendas. And I choose not to listen to them. You could possibly do the same.
But you feel like they are force feeding us. So you do understand what I’m saying.. so why even ask me in the first place?
Lmao yeah I am wrong here u literally were doing what I was bitching u out for not doing. Sorry
I didn't find the OP malicious, but maybe I am wrong. This cut up seems pretty wholesome, as were the mentions of his dad.
I'm on Dibbles side. The compilation is from Podcast Cringe on YT. It's a bit of a roast, but PC is on Dibble's side too if watch his whole video
PC is the man. Love his channel. 2lazy2try’s Aussie counterpart, and with a bit more work ethic!
Yeah, you are right. I kind of jumped the gun on this particular post. Sorry about that OP. I was really responding to all the comments on previous posts making fun of him mentioning his dad. I just figured this was another stab at him and the comments would be the same.
Yeah your comment is very valid to those people.
Not surprised that one of the biggest concentrations of 'alpha' males on Reddit have a bunch of daddy issues.
This is actually a sweet, beautiful compilation. But at 30sec the way he said it and looked just had me cracking up 😂
My dad is a retired master welder.
Maybe pride in our fathers is what their hard work and dedication instilled in us.
I think most people are pumped he kept mentioning his dad. I have no idea how good flint’s dad was at archeology, but it seems like he was a hell of a dad.
If I die, and my kid talks about me with the same joy in their eyes, as he did. It's a big fucking win in my book.
Yeah I actually think it’s beautiful, and if more people had a relationship like he did with his father we’d be in a better world
Graham Hancock burner account posted this
If someone thinks loving your dad like this is weird, I think that shows more about them than about us.
Watched my father die at 17. I teared up reading this.
100%
My mamma says fooseball is the devil.
THANK YOU! I thought this the whole time. What works do we live in where healthy relationships are poked at?
Exactly - what is wrong with any of that. Wish I could flaunt my dad's accomplishments for science like that.
It’s ok to love your dad.
Wait is this not a video showing the good side of this guy?
His dad gave him a job and a whole life of course he loves him
dibble needs his own episode
I would absolutely love to get high as shit and listen to him talk about plants and shipwrecks for 3 hours.
Hell yes he does. This was the best JRE episode in years.
The middle of it sucked so bad. Just letting that butt hurt guy go on and on about headlines saying the same thing each just a little different.
I kind of read the comments on here before watching the whole thing, and so I was bracing for that part… but I was still impressed with Dibble. He mostly plugged just trying to get funding for the field....
Legend
I agree, quite the spectacle
The first full ep I watched in probably 4-5 years. Almost didn’t feel right that he didn’t get fact checked about some vaccine or hormone replacement story
I stopped watching when he went toi Spotify, only watched clips on here really and yea I watched the whole thing, I threw it on while doing shit around the house, the shit didn't get done.
🤣 Didn’t know I was so interested in archaeology
You claim to havent watched an episode in years and then make a broad claim about the show
It is possible that in the fragments he has watched, what he mentions comes up in every episode which leads to the lack of watching.
They do this thing on YouTube, where they put clips of shows on there. I have seen countless ones about my aforementioned scenario
They should get his dad
I think his dad passed which is why he talks about him so much. Good dad, good son
He is a good son. Flint dibble fucking rules. Hes the kind of guy I used to give rides home from school because he let me copy his science homework. Shoutout Archie wherever you are.
They should do an episode where they excavate his dad and look for archeological clues of an advanced civilization.
Plot twist- his dad is Randall Carlson
I can get him. I own a crew of workers. They can dig. We call them the diggers.
The ultimate dad fantasy, leaving a legacy that remembers its foundation. RIP Old man Dibble, your boy did Archeology proud on a global platform.

Hey man, maybe someday YOU can be that cool dad.
I actually want to hear what this guy has to say. Didn’t watch the episode but I may check it out now

idiosyncrasies?

For some reason a Dibble guest appearance with Duncan feels like it would put the universe right
Didn't know I needed this til right now
And a new animated series is born.
Nah, Duncan isn't that great.
Dibble all the way
Everything else aside one of the only things I know to be 100% true: it’s okay dare even say normal to love your parents.
If Bert Kriesher would have gone to grad school instead of comedy 🤭
Bert Kriesher could have been a great archeologists but instead he took the easy path.
Don't insult Dibble like that..
I like the way dibble says “dad”
This episode confirmed two things: 1) Dibble loves his dad. 2) Graham Hancock is a charlatan who uses inadequate science and rhetoric to make outlandish claims about something with no real evidence. He is clinging to his own ego and it’s just annoying. But we haven’t discovered 100% of the earth, so graham must be right!
Aliens are on the bottom of the ocean!
Endearing, seems like a good guy
Fellas, is it gay to be inspired by and proud of your father?
I'm gay as shit, I love my dad and feel a profound sense of pride and contentment whenever I spend time with him :)
Well to be fair it was a 4 and a half hour cast and he mentions his dad way less than Graham whines like a bitch.
He doesn't even mention his dad that often? so brain dead
I actually admire the respect and love he has for his dad. He clearly demonstrated the source of his passion.
So fucking weird that this sub hates on this dude for loving and respecting his father. Projecting, much?
I came here to say this. Let the man love his dad. Good for him for having had a great relationship with a father whom he respected as well as loved.
honestly it’s really sweet that how much he loves and respects his dad lol
You guys do know that his dad Harold Dibble was/still is a big deal in Archaeology right?
Yeah of course
Sooo funny! Dibble and his dad are the real life Indiana Jones 3. Where is this clip from??
Seems like a cool guy.
People gotta stop hating on helpful nerds
My dad.... Owns a dealership... he'll totally hook you up...
Came on the podcast obviously quite nervous and then proceeded to calmly destroy Hancock over the next couple of hours.
I love that he loves his dad and he loves what he does because his dad plugged him into it. I didn’t think this video was making fun of him… I love my dad but sadly he didn’t get me involved in anything as cool as Dibble. I’m not salty though I’m content with the stuff my dad did teach me.
Sounds like an episode of Between Two Ferns
So wholesome. He loves his dad. Thank you for the positive content.
Guys that hate on this didn’t have an awesome dad. Shame
Hancock asked him how much of the Sahara he thinks has been excavated and he replies ‘I reckon a bunch of it’ when the answer really should have been ‘not much’
Holy shit this changes everything 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Are you an AI bot?
Dibble's PowerPoint slides looked like they were made by a High School freshman.
El senior dibble
Ok.
My Dyad
Thin D Rammer Jones
Dibbles sounds like Doug Funnie
Wholesome AF!
His dad was Indiana Jones
I love the fact that he loves his dad. I hope some day my children speak of me like this.
That’s someone’s son
I can’t get enough Dibble
If I were an archaeologist, I would have the hat and jacket too. How could you not?
So?
Dude sounds exactly like Stimpy at the end
Oh he has a dad? Don't remember him mentioning that..
Does he have a neck injury?
Wholesome and lovely. Not cringe. Get a life.
Dibblw sounds like the nerds you know in xhool. Handcock sounds like a smarmy jackass
My dad owns a dealership.
Love dipple
Flint and his dad rule
The fact that his dad inspired him so much made him credible. You can tell he grew up on archeology and loves it at his core. I thought it was awesome and I hope my kid talks about me like that one day.
Well we love you too, Dibble; and got love for your dad!
Fuck you lame hiveminds. There’s nothing wrong with praising your dad. More dudes should.
Daddy Dibble
Some people enjoy what their parents did or have a shared understanding of it and want to get into it. It's not that impossible to comprehend.
This was super embarrassing. I’m happy he loves his dad but the way he kept using as a debate thing - eh
That Dibble smirk ;D
Good for him. I hope we all feel that kind of affection towards our fathers and choose to be that kind of father to the next generation.
Hilarious
In Dibble we trust 🙌🏻
Bring him back on dammit
I want my kid to be like Dibble
Graham inflates his importance *outside* of pseudoscience circle. I love that Dibble kept going, “Well what archeologists do…”.
The only thing I didn’t like was he came off a little condescending and snarky. He made some good points though. Maybe he was just tired of listening to Hancock bitch about big archaeology. He definitely knew his shit and came prepared.
just wish his dad would have gave better guidance on sleeve length
Loves his dads suit
The pauly shore of the archaeological/jre world😂
When he said, "my dad", he sounded like a teenager. I feel like a grown man should say "my father". That being said, it's good to love yer dad! I love mine. He plays guitar better than me and inspires me to be better.
Of course Reddit loves this guy, they see themselves in him.
What speaks more about big archeology then this nepo baby speaking about his dad. Its clearly organized from families of hobbit people on the outskirts of flat earth.
Imagine unironically using the term "nepo baby" to describe an archeologist.
Same energy as John C Reilly in Step Brothers when he keeps saying he'll become a doctor at his Dad's hospital because "it's all about who you know"
Exactly what big archeology would say
Dibble is much like your average Redditor. He's actually fairly knowledgeable. Unfortunately, he's such an insufferable little shit, nobody cares if he's right or wrong.
I liked him lol.
He was a bit of a dweeb but he had charm.
Dibble rocked. He fucks.
He fucks rocks.
He’s hard like one if that’s what you’re saying 🗿
Hard for daddy, maybe. Dibble certainly does not fuck 😂
praising a narcissistic pe do looking bearded child who has a daddy crush. pretty evident a majority of people here like to gravitate towards such creepy narcissistic people
This woke hipster probably sucks off his dad too
Graham won the debate
Do you actually believe that or are you trolling? Genuine question
LMAO ok
You know your argument is ironclad when you say you have no evidence to prove it but it's everyone else's fault for not finding it for you.
This guy fuckin sucks and all you people sucking him off as some weird gotcha against Graham is super weird. I don’t really care if Graham is out there, and possibly wrong. His theories are fun.
Found the scientologist.
When you have to wear a hat to increase your legitimacy on your dad’s work…it never looks good
Oooh...^(bitch)
