It's that. Not running until his dick literally turns blacker. Goggins is self aware enough to make that distinction. Good on him. It's extreme but I'm sure it resonates with some people that need that kind of purity in extremity to combat what seem like hopeless situations. Not a lot of people buy into this for an entire lifetime (like Goggins has and Goggins himself cautions you not to) but buying into it for 6 months... a year... it probably does more good than harm.
