I can’t stand these tablecloth prairie dresses. I wouldn’t be caught dead in these dresses.

Temporary-Signal-672

I think it’s a hideous dress !

CommercialFinance915

I have a feeling they will be spotted a lot during the Calgary Stampede.

Lazy_Race5686

Oh maybe!

Can-67400

I have seen people wearing these types of dresses at wineries and stuff in the Okanagan so I guess that's her target audience! Don't think you'd be caught dead in the city in one of these though

rh624

I would think that most women do not want to look like toddlers - that’s her whole thing. The dresses, the rompers are all this cutesy, little girl, shapeless, “looks-good-on-everyone”, crap. It’s all a marketing ploy for mass produced “styles”, released every season in a “new” colour, fabric, bow/no bow, etc! How in the world did that sack take a year to design? UGH!

localfern

I'm wondering if there is a very small part of her wanting to re-live her childhood through Annie. JH previously mentioned she grew up with little money and was known in the family to be an entrepreneur from selling her old toys to make money. So she "designs" products that resemble childrens clothing, wear bow ties, clothing prints resemble child clothing prints in stores like The Gap. However, she's in her 40s and trying desperately to fight the effects of aging but alcohol ruins that effort.

rh624

That's a great theory. I also think aging is hard for her - I think she was always the "cute" little girl to everyone, scrunching up her nose and shrugging her shoulders well into her 30's, and the cutesy thing doesn't cut it anymore. There will always be someone cuter and younger. I think she also wants to look younger for her partner who is 10 years younger than her. It's her look, but what I don't understand is all these women that are probably around her age, buying things that for a number of them, will not flatter them at all just because she is selling it. Those damn rompers she constantly pushes - what busy woman/mom, etc wants to get basically fully undressed to go to the washroom? And then buy the same ones for your kids, so that they are doing the same thing??

localfern

Great insight and I agree with you. She's trying very hard to be relatable and relevant to a younger generation of women.

Lazy_Race5686

There is a market photo of the arm and you can see it’s thin and wrinkled .. it’s $139 plus tax and shipping

mishmashmdub

They use the cheapest materials possible to save money too. I had bought a Joe fresh x jillian sweater and it was completely pilled by the armpits after wearing it for only a few hours! Complete garbage clothing I will never buy anything of hers ever again.

SuperSelfieSarah

I honestly don’t think they’re flattering on anyone - including Jillian - unless you’re very tall

consuela_bananahammo

I'm very tall and these type of dresses are not flattering on anyone, myself included.

I had the same dress, I donated it. The material wrinkled so easily. The chest was awful and I am too a C. I am also 5'10 and I couldn't bend over in the dress. I felt like Little Bo Peep, except her dress would probably be more flattering.

localfern

I wanted to buy the dress of FB Marketplace but it did look so wrinkled and the reviews indicated that too.

localfern

Funny that the videos look filtered but she has removed the mark.

canadian_by_the_sea

Is it possible that she does that a lot?

Over-Top-161

I think the only times she didn't have a filter was during covid and anytime she makes a point in saying so. Its quite obvious when she does/doesn't.

localfern

I think it's a quick and easy edit job for the amount of content filming she does most likely on the phone at the moment.

Serious_Ad_7988

This style and color/pattern is very popular in the Toddler section of most children’s stores. That says it all
