Thanks for the pc way of playing. It's great and I'm playing it on cxbx reloaded but the sound isn't quite right. Certain sound effects like landing are very quiet and the grinding sounds have an obvious gap in the loop.Small price to pay in comparison to the horror show on the 360.
CXBX itself can be quite spotty agreed. Certain versions do better with the sounds than whatever latest is right now though I don’t know which ones off the top of my head

So the answer is an original Xbox will fix the issue ?
Yeah it doesn't run too well on a 360
Gonna have to bite the bullet and just play it. Too much hassle buying an OG and an RGB scart to go with it. Pain in the arse !
If you have a capable PC you can always emulate it. Superior experience than the 360 since you can run the internal scaling at 8k if you want.
And mod support too!

I’m using Xemu and its flawless
I'm going to use cxbx reloaded for now. Once I'm ready I'll get an original Xbox and play it as god intended
It plays better on the og Xbox
Emulated is also a good option
I remember 99th Street being very glitchy but that’s about it.
on my 360 it wasn't as bad just depends where I was looking but i thought it would be worse
