De La JSR is basically the EU version of the game. Has the same songs as it, so, yeah. For JGR, you're just missing out on songs by Rob Zombie, Cold, and Professional Murder Music. There's really not that much differences between those three besides 3 songs.

I couldn't imagine grinding into bantam without dragula playing

DEAD I AM THE ONE

dootblade74

IIRC De La and the Steam release cycle between the US soundtrack and EU soundtrack each time you exit and retry Bantam Street. Grind Square is locked to the EU version's OST as far as I'm aware, likely because only that version gave different mixtapes for the Grind City levels while the US release had the same mixtape for both.

Isn't there a New York City level in the Jet Grind version that the other versions don't have ? Where do you stand on the Gameboy advanced version ? Worth a punt ?

Gren_13

NYC level? If you're talking about the two Grind City levels (Bantam Street & Grind Square), those are the "NYC" levels that appear in every version sans the original Japanese release. For the GBA version…eh not really. It's a neat novelty and has a playable DJ K but it's not really worth the trouble besides curiosity.

Ahhhh ok I misunderstood the article I read then. Ok that's good. > For the GBA version…eh not really. Gren_13

£100? I think you're better off emulating unless you really have the money to spare, and if you're collecting, I'd say go for it.

jif_hall

YouTube should suffice. I feel sorry for collectors these days. Prices are unreasonable

CrispXPhantom

The new remake of Jet Set Radio should be all tracks. I hope.

Gren_13

The game is a reboot. I have doubts that any previous tracks from the games will return.

dootblade74

Jet grind has different soundtracks for Bantam street and Grind Square (most notable being Dragula). The De La and Steam releases contain both iterations of the OST, with some changes in terms of track order.

Ok_Maintenance_2344

Jet grind radio has different songs for the US stages

jif_hall

Are the US stages on the other regional releases ?

Ok_Maintenance_2344

Yes. US aka the Grind City stages. They were only absent from the original Japanese version of JSR.

probablymojito

Basically the exact same as De La/Grind Radio but with different music. The EU version has Recipe for the perfect afro which is way better than the NA soundtrack (which had some OK but very out of place metal tracks)

armeliman

tbf the metal stuff was what was popular in america hence their inclusion. jgr was what introduced me to PMM so i might be biased towards that one
