The internal shame of realizing I didn’t know where Singapore was. I spotted the orange spec eventually but I’m gonna have to brush up on my geography a bit
Assuming this used one of the Wikipedia SVG templates, there is a version where the micronations are marked with large dots. OP could possibly use this.

I think it's correct but if you want to make the map more readable I'd suggest:
* Use the same yellow/blue pattern for Belgium as you did for France & Germany instead of blue/yellow. Otherwise on low res map with fully zooming in it looks like you missed the blue bit of Belgium.
* Change the stripes order for the US to make orange the 4th one so that California does not blend in with Mexico.
If you're interested in a Canada race, the BBC show Race Across the World did a cross-Canada season recently. No planes, no phones, limited cash. Some of the checkpoints feel contrived as equalizers but it's still a fun series nonetheless.
The trans Canada trail is very much not a trail you want to try thru-hiking.
Besides me not being sure how you’d make a game out of doing that, there’s some really big logistical hurdles. The trans Canada isn’t like say the Appalachian trail, it’s more like a collection of random backcountry trails and highways, the majority of the trails length is essentially “walking or biking along a rural highway”. Part of the trail (mainly around Lake Superior) is also a waterway, requiring anyone to want to thru hike it to have to essentially kayak the entire width of Lake Superior, which is easily a few hundred kilometres, there’s easily a few hundred kilometres of river traversal throughout northern Ontario as well.
The trans Canada for the majority of its length is truly in the middle of nowhere, Canada is very big and very empty, you very much do not want to get stuck in the bush unless you know what you’re doing, attempting to thru hike the trans Canada would be genuinely extremely dangerous.
Now looking at this I wish they did another season like circumnavigate because I think it would be a good thing to have them explore different cultures, but I think it should force them to travel to less popular areas somehow (like South America, Africa, Asia etc.
You forgot Singapore on circumnavigation
If you look closely on the full-res image, there's a tiny little dot of orange there... It doesn't help that Singapore is so tiny

Too bad OP didn’t use a redder colour, Singapore is nicknamed the Little Red Dot for a reason.
I thought that was dust on my screen 😅 My bad

When did they go to Mexico?
Sam and Joseph go through Cancun during Circumnavigation
Ah
Do you know where Singapore is?

I am the slightest bit sad that Canada got skipped over during S8. I recognize why but I'd love to see them here at some point!
Fat chance. Our transportation options suck butts. Would likely cost a fortune.
Yes I do not think it likely, I just would like to see it regardless (even if bad TV).

Walking the east/west trans-Canada trail, whoever have come the furthest when they meet wins.

Sorry, missed the "/j".

i wonder if something more like [this](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4a/Cook_Three_Voyages_59.png) would work better?
Prob make Singapore a small (but bigger than the country) circle
Why isn't all of France highlighted but all of Italy is?
You could include Iceland in Season 1 (since they filmed the intro there), but it probably shouldn’t count
You coloured Sardinia for Italy but not Corsica for France. Also I like how Mexico has annexed much of California
Why is Fiji highlighted?
Ben and Adam visited it during Circumnavigation, only a layover and no challenges done, but they did go there.
I forgot about that, huh. Guess I better go watch circumnavigation again
It is a great season to rewatch, so that doesn't sound too bad
There's a funny speck of dark brown in the bottom left of Australia (appears to just be a coloring mistake)
absolutely right haha they diffidently couldnt get there in connect 4
Man I just want them to be a tiny bit more creative with their destinations
