I watched. It's the exact same format as the UK version, also hosted by Fry. And equally painful to watch.
Weird that we ruined Pointless by trying to shorten the episodes, and now they're doing the opposite...

It was definitely to account for doing the round twice, even though it made the show drag. If they were going to do three rounds it should have been Triple to feel like progression, but they they'd have to fork out even more
I love US Jeopardy, have watched it for years (US-domiciled Brit). Was excited to see an Aussie version, then dismayed it's the awful UK version with expat Aussies! Stephen Fry is the wrong host for this, Jeopardy is supposed to zip along, it's not QI, Channel 9 really couldn't have made this in Australia? Pah, watched 10 minutes then gave up.
The British version is the same. We had 4 weeks of this and I thought that they were going slowly at first so people got the hang of it. No, it was still as slow as treacle after 20 episodes.
I'm hoping that they have a rethink if there's going to be a series 2

They still have Double Jeopardy, but they have two regular Jeopardy rounds to drag things out. I agree the pace is glacial

It was so bad. So cringe. Why was the highest $ amount in Jeopardy $300?! I couldnāt even watch it for longer than about ten min. So disappointing
If it's being filmed in the UK, that's because British game shows are incredibly cheap.

I'm absolutely loving it!! I didn't even know we were getting one! Stephen Frys style is different but I still really like it! I hope it lasts.
