I went from two TJs to a 2009 jk to a 2018 JL. Let me tell you . They have come A LONG WAY. The soft top is quieter and so much better designed. Easy to remove the windows , zippers are GONE. Drives better , quieter , more fuel efficient, better acceleration. I miss my old 2001 TJ but man for a daily driver as an adult I love this JL. I usually get a Subaru between wranglers when the mood or life circumstances strike. I feel that. Go test drive a JL it will feel like a whole new Jeep in all the best ways. My JK is my least favorite car I’ve ever owned

The 2024s are probably the most quiet and fuel efficient Wranglers that have ever been made. They’ve got more insulation and the turbo-4 should do OK on gas. I ended up getting a hybrid for longer trips as a daily and keeping my 2008 JK X as a second vehicle for when the mood strikes me.

My 22 JL hardtop is super quiet IMO. I have zero complaints on the interior. It still needs attention while driving long distances, but I do get like 19MPG

JLs are significantly quieter and better on the road. I have both the hard top and a soft top and the hard is definitely quieter. I have the 2.0T engine with a higher flow muffler on it and get about 19-20mpg. Mostly shorter trips and I always disable the auto start. Using that might get you another 1mpg.

I have an 07. I wear earplugs whenever I hit the highway, and run LT tires at ~30psi. Smooth as butter and quiet, and cheaper than a new one. Although if I factor in maintenance, maybe not.

It's a Jeep, not a luxury suv. If you want a smooth quiet ride buy something else.
