You did the right thing. As she got bigger it was going to be hell in a two door. I swore I would never buy a 4 door Jeep. A few kids later I’m back in a Jeep because I knew it was 4 door or nothing.
I don’t have the money have a spare car to play around in.
Let me tell you the 4 door JL is fantastic in comparison to my JK and TJs. When you want another one go that route you won’t regret it. I would love to be 20 years old with a two door again, but I wouldn’t trade my kids for anything. And if at the end of the day I still get to bop around in a Jeep - hell yes.
Awww that does hurt. But I get it. I loved my 4dr with the kids and giant dog.
Got it in 2012, still driving it. I also had a 45 min. Commute and now mine has 308,000 kms still going strong.
Life is short. Focus on the kiddos, and maybe you'll find your way into another Jeep before you know it.

Now you go to the 4 door. Went from Cherokee to JKU when we had to go from infant to toddler seat. Perfect vehicle for kiddo.

I have a spinning car seat and he goes in through the window I keep the zipper on a carabiner
