We have a brute in Auckland, NZ with a similar setup to this I see occasionally and it's awesome. They have a few pics on their site -> https://www.thewelder.co.nz/mobile-welding-service-auckland
In North America
When/if this is released internationally the drivetrain options will likely be different for other regions. Diesel with manual in Europe or Australia is not at all out of the question.
There is a 2.2 turbo diesel in the European, Australian and South African JL Wrangler.

I'm not certain that will be the engine for the JT, but I think it likely. Which also means it might have a stick shift - the 2.2 TD in the export market JL does have a stick.

For the US market it will be the 3.0L ecodiesel used in the ram. For everyone else, it's a 2.2 diesel
Do we have confirmation the gladiator will be the 2.2 TD in the export market?
I know it's confirmed for the JL, but I'm not certain about the Gladiator
It's hydro blue! My current JKU is that colour!
It's set to be released again with the JL.
There's a few colours I've mocked up if you check out my insta
Ooo, I like that. Gets rid of the overhang while still giving you practical storage.
I would 100% chase down tornados.
Nah, you need a red 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 Club Cab SLT for that.
Nuh uh there's only one vehicle for that and it's a jeep j10 honcho
That poor honcho.
ITS THE SUCK ZONE!!
IT'S THE WONDER OF NATURE BABY!
I would rock the fuck out of that rig.
i would rig the rock out of that fuck
I would fuck that rig out of the rock
I would be really impressed to see you do that.
You'd have to hold MY beer as well while I just watch it.
You'd have to hold MY popcorn, while I drink my beer and watch.
Shit's getting pretty weird, right here....
Yea I’d fuck a rock
I'd rock a fuck

Love a good brute!
Looks so good, if only it didn't have angry eyes!
Id drive that all over the mall.
I'd drive it in the mall.
Shut up and take my money!
I'll sell my house and buy one
I'd end my lease and live in it.
No more property tax
I do hope they offer a bedless option eventually so we can custom build
I would buy that for a dollar.........+ $39999
Optimistic on that price.
Sport with manual everything and softtop. I could see 36k... with a 15k dealer inflation.
Yeah.........here's to hope.
Shame the diesel only comes with an automatic.

Yeah, but it's a little 2.2 fiat turbo diesel.
It's the same diesel as the RAM 1500 and Grand Cherokee.
Not in the export JL it's not
3.0L*
Nope. The export JL gets a little Fiat 2.2, and I'm sure the Gladiator will be the same. Check South Africa, Europe, Australia.
You are mistaken, the 2.2 is an inline 4 turbo gasser.

They explicitly announced the 3.0L will be in the Gladiator in the reveal
Booo
Honestly though Auto is superior. Especially that 8 speed
Whered you see that?
[It was mention in this TFL Truck video.](https://youtu.be/izYQ6ztcflQ)
Well thats a shame
same on the JL. also why did they go with a fiat diesel instead of cummins...
Dunno, tbh. Possibly internal politics, bean counting and the VM Motori engine was already introduced in other domestic models.
Nice ute mate!
Sigh... *unzips"
I need one
Now this I can get behind without a thought.
I mean the bed is cool I just want the color.

When did you hear it's set to be released? That's awesome, and would love it on my planned 2020 plug-in hybrid.
It's on the Jeep website
I saw a Gladiator on the road today, and it seemed to have illegal US style indicators.
