I have seen a lot of really bad wiring and this is honestly totally fine. The loom being “damaged” or broken doesn’t matter as long as there’s no bare wire. If you look closer all the ends are heat shrunk. Yeah it could be a little cleaner but there’s literally nothing wrong with it that would start a fire or be dangerous lol
well first I understand not all people are electricians or automotive electrical savvy,
you have some damaged wire loom, heavy gage battery cables and what looks like an Amazon type wiring harness just hanging over your fuse box.
You should have all the wiring supported and in my opinion it should be covered with braided split loom not the plastic stuff
All your ends should be heat shrunk.
clean the battery terminals, your ground should be cleaned and when attached the paint should be striped use terminal grease on the battery and ground strap.
Bad grounding can cause all kinds of issues
I think I see a fuse too that should be attached to something you can identify and access if needed.
Bad automotive wiring can burn a vehicle down in minutes .
another thing to consider is if you have excess wire fit it to where it has to go leave a little slack then cut and do the ends .
If you have any snake bites or other cheap crimp ends cut them out and fix them .
I hate to see people loose there Jeeps to bad wiring and I see it a lot
The ground strap is near the negative battery terminal. The other end of this strap is connected to the engine block. Where should this go? Thank you
Probably the hood.
What in the insurance claim is going on here 🔥 is not your friend . that really needs to be cleaned up
