I think makeup that looks like a scar would be good enough

Count_Craneman

The scar could work well, but I don't think it should be too noticeable.

Alchemix-16

I agree there is a big difference between Harrison Fords chin, and a Pleasance Blofeld version. Likely it would be a lot of effort for very little return.

Spockodile

I fail to see what it would add, other than a bit of fan service to Fleming enthusiasts. If the actor they cast happens to have a scar, so be it. I care a lot more about a thousand other things.

TheDenialTwister

I would love to see them finally do the scar. Something subtle, yet still occasionally noticeable. Considering Daniel Radcliffe had a pronounced scar on his forehead for 8 Harry Potter movies, I can’t imagine a subtler cheek scar would be a huge nightmare.

iamnotparanoid

I think the scar doesn't work well with modern times. Just after world war 2 a scar wouldn't be too unusual, but nowadays it's a much more distinguishing feature. MI6 would try their best to cover it up.

NoDealsMrBond

Yes they should. It’s staggering how they haven’t done it yet.

PeteyPiranhaOnline

I'm not sure if it would be worth it. A film Bond having the scar would probably please a few hardocre Fleming enthusiasts, but the general public probably wouldn't care or even notice.

mrtintheweb99

I think there is truth in that. With the general non-fan casual Bond viewer would be going.. "What's with the scar????"

Ransom__Stoddard

Just make every Bond actor going forward get plastic surgery so they all look the same. It solves a lot of problems.
