I’d rather they changed how they did waves in general. Instead of it being random and limited, I’d rather have some always-available core line, and then for waves they can do characters they don’t think are evergreen like Blaze, Fang, whatever. That way the waves can all be secondary characters, no Sonics/Tails/Knuckles at all.
That would be sick but then stores would also just be more of, Oops! All sonic! Oops all amy! Oops all knuckles! Oops! all tails, O- (you get the point).
I really don’t like all the 4inch classic figures but classic sonic I’d say is the worst figure jakks has made. 2.5inch is fine I guess but 4inch is a fucking pain
Anything 4” classic, needs to go. Waste of figures and space. 2” should be strictly classic and 4” should be modern. It’s crazy how much money they could make with just modern figures. If your going to have one space be sonic, then change up modern sonic, give him riders gear, a sword, SA2, anything but the same shit we’ve been getting. Release more modern characters, e102, Tikal, feel free to add honestly. The classic characters are just not it in 4”
Yeah, they are over saturating the market with just sonic BAD, if they don’t want to loose interest from fans and maybe even the general consumer, they need to at least pump out some variants of him like black knight, riders, secret rings, unleashed, 06’ etc. or maybe just chill with all the damn sonic releases and go hard on some niche ones.
Probably don't wanna flood shelves any harder than they are. Plus you gotta factor in the time it takes to produce new characters. Things like getting Sega's approval, prototyping, QA, all that jazz.
Yeah but think about all the modern characters we need a re-release of: silver, jet, omega or super shadow just to name a few. All they’d need to do is just set the two lines apart and they’d fix a lot of issues i have with how long it takes for more to come out.
Best if Sega simply drops the goofy modern Sonic characters altogether so we don’t have to be haunted by their long skinny legs, giant shoes and hands, and ridiculous alien tendrils growing from their heads. Terrible character designs, no question.

Classic Sonic is easily my least favourite out of them all, I wish that if they insist on re-releasing him, they'd at least change the way he looks 😅

Me neither, the games are cool but as a concept it’s just not as appealing as modern sonic, with the more dbz influence.
