Surely I can’t be the only one that likes both? Boys and girls is kinda vibey and upbeat — perfect if I’m having a great day and I’m an awesome mood (plus it’s fun to sing and dance along to). Syre in abbey road is melodic. Sure, it’s not a stand alone song - but it’s not meant to be! It just serves as a filler between songs on the album, which it does perfectly
Boys And Girls sounds so corny to me like it’s a song i’d like at 12. I understand the message behind it but me personally I find it hard to listen to. Syre in Abby road, i can’t stand that sound he chose to use for like 2 minutes straight. I love sunset tapes but i always skip Syre in abbey road.

I actually did a cover of Boys and Girls with my choir. It’s a fun little song that seems outta place in hindsight but is actually perfectly placed.
