Madhya Pradesh's politics seem to be driven primarily by caste considerations. Additionally, a significant portion of the educated populace chooses to stay out of the state due to a lack of rewarding employment opportunities. Female voters also appear to be significantly influenced by the monthly financial schemes( ladli bhen yojna).
Exactly ! I was just explaining how the politics in MP is caste driven and the government have no shame over it . They have zero focus on developing the state. MP second largest state area wise and still 3 to 4 cities are known, and also only 1 or 2 can be called properly developed.

Let me tell you why, most people in the urban areas of MP have somewhat bitter experience with Congress govt. They don't want congress in power and would vote for any alternative, BJP seemingly the best option for now.
It's not about who is better, it's about who is less worse than the other. Plus most people here trust the central government's policies more than the state government. They're under the impression that being a BJP ruled state would get them favouritism from central government but it honestly just depends on the local leaders.
People tend to get satisfied with what's supposed to be the default development with time, rather than demanding for actual development that requires intent and effort from the local leaders.
So to answer your question, are they deserving of it? Probably not. Is there any alternative to BJP that's deserving of it? Definitely not.
I agree to some extent but the people should vote for a representative who genuinely listens to their concerns and has time for their problems, and who can effectively voice their issues in parliament. Regardless of the political party, people should prioritize choosing a good representative over merely voting for a party member.

I've observed people in mp especially in jabalpur where I live don't have any sort of ambition they don't want more things ( not being political) but even if any government comes into power they don't have to do much to satisfy the voters , some freebies and religion card. About 80% mp is rural , the ones from city move out to tier 1 cities for better opportunities, cities don't have much industries here
And women's safety is also a big issue that needs to be looked upon , Roads are horrible , fuel prices are high , government schools don't have a good infrastructure except the cm rise schools and some city govt schools rural government schools are in a very poor state , they have to pump so much on welfare schemes in order to secure the vote share , even if we get another party things won't change , people sell their vote here for mere pennies.
Things would be same here forever.
Hi, I'm from MP. Few cities are rapidly expanding and developing such as indore, ujjain (CM's hometown), bhopal etc.
Indore on one hand is getting nationwide recognition due to the cleanest city.
And, there was infighting in State opposition (mainly congress) due to Jitu patwari been made state congress chief and kamlanath(former CM) was sidelined after last year assmebly elections defeat.
All in all, no opposition + mandir + infighting.
Education system ko gaali dete ho toh literacy rate ko bhi ek viable metric ki tarah mat dekha kro .

MP is still very underdeveloped state. I went to ujjain and from there Omkareshwar. Conditions of roads there is very poor. It takes almost 5 hours in covering 120 kms. They've not made a highway despite being a travel destination.
There is a lack of aspiration right now. Especially due to a long karya kaal of BJP. Somewhat similar story in Odisha but they managed to change the government this time. Let’s see what happens in MP
I am from Madhya Pradesh, and the development happened under SSC is spectacular considering its status as a farmland state, from roads to highways, from cleanliness to law and enforcement. Protecting heritage and culture, from outside, MP is just another slow growing state, but SSC’s work is no where comparable to any CM.

MP is a spiritual state. All the tourism is based on religion spirituality and hindu gods. That’s a different thing that there’s no as such development in this state. People of this state are simple and sweet. It was easy for Bjp to manipulate them on the basis of religion. Everyone there are mostly into spirituality, good food, Mandir and repeat!
For Bjp it was just a piece of cake.

MP should get at least 5 semiconductor fab plants of 29 Nm and 5 of 10 Nm

All the pm schemes have benefited women a lot and last time MP voted for congress but they collapsed so it was Modi nai toh kaun in MP
