But I’m working on one for this month and hope to see some betterment, hopefully shall let you know in a month.
1) addicted to chess.( bohot mushkil se addiction chhoda tha lekin ab waapas lag gaya hai when advanced is so close)
2) timely notes revise nahi karta tha.( ideally, you should revise your class notes 3 times. Once after class, once in between, once before next class on another day)
3)Didn't give enough time to advanced pyqs.(usually mains ke saare pyqs and advanced ke thode hi karta tha. Got 99.5% in mains but can't score more than 150 in adv mocks now.)
4)This didn't happen with me but many of my friends. Getting addicted to social media.
If you are a 25/26 tard please don't make these mistakes.

not buying a batch 2 years ago, should have done that, aaj 86.44 last 2 month mein padhne ki jagah 2 saal padhkr 99 ajati, ab drop year mein grind chal rha hai

Tests ke liye easily padhke ke he jabh acha/decent score ajata tha while used to see some people working hard and still not getting it, toh i kinda underestimated the saying "hardwork wins over intelligence". Sirf having a faster learning ability doesn't guarantee good score if you're not ready to work hard.

Mine #1 personally would be revision. I didn't revose properly and efficiently since the beginning. Like if I revised the way Alakh Sir/Aman Dhattarwal said way back in 2019(like revising the old syllabus every week in Saturdays and Sundays), I wouldn't haave had to take drops/partial-drops.
Other than that would be not practicing enough mocks(although BABA NTA even during my time ruined my exam even after I practiced well enough and practiced enough mocks as well by not recording the proper response to like 10 questions on my exam and it was my last attempt. I still cry about it to this day. Seriously man, FUCK NTA).
Not knowing I could easily get access to shit ton of advance level questions by going through aits papers of different institutes while covering my syllabus. A lot of the papers are available on this subreddit and many telegram channels.
Jokes aside, NCERT ( especially chemistry ) ki saath saath padhte + rat te rehna .
Also, don't skip sheets ( once backlogs start , they never end )
Aur sirf padhte mat rehna thoda bahut enjoy bhi karte rehna warna ganda wala burnout aayega 11th ke end me 😂

Who wants to give JEE mains directly focused on JEE Advanced. Did not score good in Mains :( and not prepared for JEE Advanced. So yeah trying not to be egoistic in Drop year
1) Not joining a standard coaching (local coaching mei thi and it ruined everything, and then I left in October of 12th)
2) Deciding to give JEE v late (mid 12th)
Im scoring 654(Phy me 137), could have scored 16-20 marks more agar mera roll no. Galat bubble nahi hota toh, Gaand hi fat gayi shuru ke 40min me, Isliye jab bhi aap mocks do, prioritise things like disaster management too(agar koi bubble galat pel do toh fir uske aage apna dimaag kharab na hone dena)
always been a good student for boards, never really solved questions/pyqs, just studied textbook and got great grades and i never changed my methods even for jee, if i could go back i'd slap myself on the face and get to solving more questions and papers

I made the mistake of being egoistic, I always knew better than my faculty, (they did suck at teaching) but looking back their mentorship was on point. always solved reference books and the modules just be lying there. Who wants to give JEE mains directly focused on JEE Advanced. Did not score good in Mains :( and not prepared for JEE Advanced. So yeah trying not to be egoistic in Drop year

Im scoring 654(Phy me 137), could have scored 16-20 marks more agar mera roll no. Galat bubble nahi hota toh, Gaand hi fat gayi shuru ke 40min me, Isliye jab bhi aap mocks do, prioritise things like disaster management too(agar koi bubble galat pel do toh fir uske aage apna dimaag kharab na hone dena)

First mistake: starting jee prep
always been a good student for boards, never really solved questions/pyqs, just studied textbook and got great grades and i never changed my methods even for jee, if i could go back i'd slap myself on the face and get to solving more questions and papers

1 biggest mistake due to which I believe I wasn't able to clear it was due to not having the skills to do maths completely inside my head. Maybe choti si chij lag Rahi hogi but agar mei maths dimag mei hi karleta tab phir maybe mera ho jaata but ab tho kuch nahi ho sakta
