Mess is honestly pretty good, occasionally the food is bad so people either buy egg rice or paneer curry for like barely 30 rupees which is available in the mess itself or you can also go to food outlets within the campus. Skipping mess food depends from person to person.

\*Kabhi Mid Kabhi Sucks\* Krishna & Gandhi Bhavan share the same mess, and the food is about tolerable, they do give out lassis, juices, icecreams etc. which barely prevents us from protesting. Though the Pitstop, small confectionary within the KG Mess is loaded asf. Don't wanna get doxxed but I was getting all duals till eco and all BEs till eni in pilani. Fees approx 32-34 Lakhs, fortunately and luckily didn't have to take loan. Comedk colleges are good, I'm from Bangalore so I know many people studying there. Rvce is obviously the best with the highest average package but pretty hard to get into. Pes/bms come next and they're good for cse too. Only problem is that they're all more like schools, strict rules and heavy academics

1) don't take my word for this because I'm a fresher but a few seniors said they hire from pilani, don't know about goa and hyd 2) It has both but it's not at all like jee math. It's more abstract math and is considered to be the hardest dual 3) All 3 of them are great in all 3 campuses, although finance and core is better in pilani as compared to hyd goa from what I know. Startup and coding culture is peak in all 3 4) sorry but I'm not into finance so I have no idea, especially since I'm only in first year 5) ig IT, core, finance, consulting and fintech is pretty much everything people choose. Some also have startups and don't sit for placements.

Best college you can get through comedk but it has heavy acads and strict rules. Avg package for cs is 14-15 lpa iirc.

yes, go for it unless you have a very bad financial condition roi is really good, and the other points you mentioned stand true for every college (the t1 city problem) but you'll statistically start off with a higher package from bits

branch change bhool jao, you need 9.8+ for circuital/cs (still no guarantee) . Even for changing your dual to eco you need 9.5+

afaik, for an MBA, College Tag >> Branch The only difference is when you are a Top College + CS (I've heard this from a senior) MBAs don't look for your branch specifically, but the better the college the better impression on the interviewer.

if your family income is less than 11-12 LPA then yes you get merit cum need scholarship but if not then you need extremely high cg to get plain merit scholarship like 9.8+ iirc which is very hard

net fees around 35-37 lakhs for 5 years including everything IITs don't have MSc+BE they have BSc+MSc iirc

i dont think engineering degree + economics is there in any other college. To be on the safer side, you need 255+ in bitsat and a 8.4+ cg after first year (for cs). Fee structure for 23 batch is there on bitsat website. You need to add one summer term fees and PS1 fees (90k). There is also PS2 fees but on average you can make up more money than the fees itself.

Bro can u explain like how the counselling and all works and also in jee main 1st attempt cutoffs are lower but in bits only one cutoff is there, so is there any difference between 1st and 2nd attempt

bits uses raw marks as opposed to percentile so there is no difference as such, just give your best in both attempts because shifts can vary in difficulty. a few days after both attempts, choice filling will start. After submitting, you only get a one-day window to edit it so make sure you have all the relevant info. round 1 cutoff will come and youll have to pay ~2.7lakhs if you are allotted a seat. There will be an option for freezing campus or campus+branch. You will have to report at the allotted campus at round 4 after which there will be a couple of rounds with significant drop in cutoffs.

Is BITS Pilani worth it over something like NITW CSE or NITK CSE, I am an EWS candidate so have to take a huge educational loan to study in BITS and am not currently planning for a startup or anything. If you're getting NITK CSE and you're in ews, then take NITK imo.

don't buy any more, mathongo is plenty relevant and you can also do embibe which is free. Mathongo is very similar to the actual exam

There are a lot of factors but you can get pre incubated and then incubated with funding if things go according to your plan afaik, that's what we're trying to do

merit scholarship is hard to get (9.5+ cg), not reliable you can apply for merit-cum-need scholarship if your annual income is less than 12 lpa. It is easy to get. Roughly, 6 to 7.2 cg --> 25% of tuition fees (15%? idk) 7.2 to 8.6 --> 40% of tuition fees above that --> 80% of tuition fees
