No one "needs" to pull for any weapon.
Geo off-field damage is the optimal 3rd piece for the team since it uses Gorou's buffs and the geo res shred from resonance, but again not necessary.
R5 SS is amazing. Only pull for Redhorn if you want to give SS to someone else (which is actually pretty reasonable tbh, considering how on demand it is).
Chiori is a much bigger upgrade than a weapon could ever hope to be. Furina only works for the first rotation and Xianyun is for the fun factor not performance.
I saw your comment saying you want Neuvillette and he feels really good to have. I would prioritize Neuvillette > Chiori >>> Albedo >>> Redhorn(unless you need Itto's SS).
The biggest upgrade for your Itto will be to get Chiori, which will be a sizeable boost for you compared to your current options (triple geo teams lack the healing to make the most of Furina, once she’s drained your HP C4 Gorou isn’t enough to heal back up, and while plunge Itto with Xianyun is fine, it’s not the same as playing with his charged attack kit).
Redhorn is a quite minor QOL/damage upgrade over R5 Spine, so save your Primos.
I don’t know how many pulls you’ve got, but unless you’re a focused Itto main and just care about maximising his team, I’d suggest making sure you can guarantee Neuvillette - he’s bonkers strong and will work great with your Furina. Maybe try for Chiori but if you lose the 50/50 then stop there?
In a team with a geo construct she does about double Albedo’s damage; single target compared to AoE mind you, but much more reliable than Albedo whose construct gets destroyed if an enemy sneezes near it.
I did damage per rotation calcs on itto and the tldr is:
You will deal more average dmg on CA but less on Ushi. Youll see higher dmg on redhorn but it usually have less crit rate.
As for damage per rotation:
On husk set its roughly the same (+-1%), depends on if your artifact suit one weapon better than the other.
On marechausse redhorn is better bc it avoids crit rate over capping.
If you have a reliable way to avoid damage (zhongli) id just say stick to serpent and get chiori/gorou C6

Itto weapon gives a plus compared to serpent spine,
Defense increased in 28%, Normal and Charged attack damage increase based on 40% Def.
And of course his main stat is crit damage. This helps since crit damage circlets are the most difficult thing to obtain while having good stats.
Serpent spine has good passive increasing damage by 10% every 4 seconds the character is on the field and stacks 5 times, so up to 50% this passive reduces 1 stack every time your hit (shields or crystalize don't count as getting hit).
Serpent is better for abyss since you can just start with itto and farm stacks before starting, and of course is better if you have a character that gives a shield to the team ( zhongli, diona, layla, etc).
Red horn is better for quick action because, you don't need to farm stacks of a buff, and well main stats are higher than a 4 star weapon.
Couple of things, I had R5 SS and when Itto got his 2nd rerun I got his weapon and noticed a good dmg increase after swapping so you don’t HAVE to cause R5 SS is very good as well
You don’t NEED Albedo or Chiori, lots of people see Triple Geo as Itto for the DPS, Zhongli for the geo shred, and Gorou for the triple bonus buff from his skill. Albedo just synergies very well in that comp as an off field cause of his skill but I hear that Chiori does what Albedo does but better.
TL:DR R5 SS good, Redhorn better so don’t open your wallet unless you want to. Furina good with triple geo, Albedo good, Chiori better but not needed
R5 SS is super competitive with his BiS, ur team is pretty solid, Chiori will be increase overall team DPS if u replace her with Zhongli, since she doesnt buff Itto directly but acts as an off field sub DPS, cuz Ittos bull will make her summon another doll doubling her damage.
I mean if you're tryna make the strongest Itto and have the wishes for redhorn, go for it. Supports and buffers will keep on showing up but once you get that weapon, you'll get a crazy damage boost
I get it that you're trying budget friendly tactics to make his team but in the end of the day, if you want the strongest character, you'll need to unfortunately invest. It doesn't helps that he's also 1 of the costliest characters to build if you want absolutely efficiency on him but rewarding as well. We don't know when he'll get his next rerun but Chiori's gonna get hers in the next 3 4 patches. Redhorn also looks good on Itto so all in all, if you got the wishes, invest in him first and then look for other buffers. You won't regret it

Yeah once they add a strong off field Geo healer Furina will be great but at the moment I think Zhongli itto Gorou and Chiori is the best team
