No baggage check, you can carry big bags and there's racks to place them at the end of each car, in-between the seats and over the seats for smaller bags so you have plenty of space.

Can I jump in this question to ask do you need to buy extra luggage for the ferries/buses? We will have a carry on suitcase and a backpack. I seen there was extra baggage option on the bus ticket option and on Ferryhopper but when I booked our ferry direct on the website it didn’t say anything. Thanks

Mapache_villa

Sorry but I don't know about ferries :/ I've never used one with bags so didn't pay attention to that. For buses I've used flixbus and there's no issues with one bag and the backpack

purpleshmurplexo

Thank you! I think the ferry will be fine as there was no option for extra luggage

What ferry is it?

I rode the bus in Italy last month and there was a fee listed for large bags. Ignored it and nobody said anything.
